Sharing our positive experience: The communication was excellent. The admission process was smooth, and throughout the stay we always felt informed about my mom’s care and progress. A special thank you goes to Linda, who was incredibly professional, compassionate, and responsive. She took the time to answer our questions, kept us updated, and made sure any concerns were addressed promptly. The nursing staff, therapy team, and everyone we interacted with treated my mom with kindness, respect, and genuine care. The community is peaceful, the common areas are inviting, and it’s obvious the staff takes pride in keeping the community looking its best. We’re very thankful for everyone who helped with my mom’s recovery. Based on our experience, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Terraces of Los Altos to anyone looking for a rehabilitation facility for a loved one!

A couple of months ago my grandma had a fall at home and needed SNF Rehab. We were nervous about placing her in SNF, but were lucky to find TLA. Linda and the rest of the SNF team helped us out for my grandma’s rehab stay. My grandma stayed for 3 weeks, the rehab & nursing team was able to get my grandma back home strong and healthy. She is still thriving at home thanks to the excellent care at terraces.

Been in several rehab facilities, this is by far the nicest, most efficient, well run organization I’m proud to have spent time in. Set in lovely residential area in Los Altos, caters to a series of medical and aging maladies, by friendly, caring, well trained experts. Highly recommend The Terraces.

I was there for 67 days were do I begin from the Directors all the way down to a CNA‘s nurses kitchen staff everyone Housekeeping I can’t begin to say how wonderful each and everyone one of you were during my time there I left yesterday and I already miss you all terribly. I am having surgery in July and can’t wait to go back to a place like the terraces cause they will take care of you beyond all expectations. Again, if you are having surgery or any kind of medical needs, I highly recommend the terraces the physical therapy department has you do things that you never thought you’d be able to do it again I appreciate everyone so much for taking care of me those 67 days and making it feel like home

My wife and I are looking forward to moving here in the not too distant future. As we thought about aging and possible healthcare that may come with it, we decided to look into what was "out there" for us. We have visited several life plan communities in the area and The Terraces is our favorite. We have taken the time to attend informational meetings, meet the staff, meet and talk with residents, and walk the campus at different times of the year. This is not a "retirement home." It is an active community of interesting adults who have taken a positive step into their golden years. Our children are grown and our home is now too large for the two of us. We joined the "waitlist" at the Terraces and we look forward to joining their wonderful community in Los Altos.

My dad was displaced by the fires in Los Angeles on January 7. I visited all of the retirement homes in the San Francisco Bay area that I could, and The Terraces was clearly the best option. Fantastic communication, very professional process and knowledgeable people, while also being supportive of his unique and sudden situation. My dad has now moved in and is completely happy there, and I can’t imagine a better outcome for someone going through such a tumultuous stage in life. Thank you to the folks at The Terraces, especially Debbie and Myhanh.

An upscale continue care community. It has independent living, assisted living, health care, rehab and memory care. Small, personal, and friendly, catering primarily to silicon valley residents. A nonprofit Human Good community. Their website shows multiple photos.

Very nice place very clean very nice people and if they make a mistake they will correct it. Highly recommend this place also have private rooms.

My wife broke her femur bone and was admitted to Terraces at Los Altos for rehab after 5 days stay at Stanford Hospital. Terrace is at a quiet residential neighborhood, all single rooms. The aisles are wide and bright. All staffs were very nice and friendly, including the receptionists, CNAs, RNs, PTs, OTs and administrative staff. We had a very pleasant experience. I would give it five stars.

Husband and I have lived here now for about nine months, and happily, we were welcomed in numerous ways right from the beginning. We've enjoyed many pleasant outings and numerous in-house presentations and activities. Notably, dinner hours are a daily pleasure with varied menus and friendly conversation with an interesting population of well educated and much travelled people. We know we made the right decision when we chose The Terraces.

When you no longer are comfortable living in your home - whether alone or with a spouse, TLA is a very good substitute for living at home. There is a good feel for safety at TLA. You have options for eating here which can be utilized easily. Suggestions for changes or improvements are usually considered and where practical, implemented. As you age, and need additional assistance, this can be addressed in a positive way.

My grandpa stayed here for 2 weeks after a hip replacement from Stanford. The rehab people were knowledgeable and the staff were truly compassionate from start to finish.

My friend lives at The Terraces and the interaction I had there at the behest of her was beyond anything I could have wished for! My friend and I were hiking when she developed a bad stomach. By the time we got down the hill and back to the Terraces she was really struggling. I called the Health desk and explained the situation: within minutes nurse Anne arrived and took over. She knew just what to do and did it efficiently and effectively . Anne’s humor was interlaced with professionalism. After her assessment, and with the family’s agreement, transport arrived and took Sandra to the hospital...but not before Anne made sure Sandra was ready to go; cleaned and dressed. Anne walked Sandra out to the ambulance and saw her off. When Sandra returned from the hospital, Anne had tidied everything up and bagged soiled clothing. If you’ve family living there, or thinking of buying into The Terraces, rest assured you will be well taken care of with a wonderful medical staff. Thank you, Anne

The Terraces of Los Altos staff was wonderful. The rehabilitation program my grandpa was there for helped him get back on his feet quickly. The staff was very attentive to his needs and always kept us in the loop. They gave us a peace of mind when we could not see him for weeks at the hospital. Overall, it is a great place!

Great care all around, from management, nurses, and other staff. While I could not visit because of covid, the staff was in constant communication with us. They went above and beyond to make sure we could FaceTime and how my loved one was doing on a daily basis. Linda, the admissions coordinator, was so helpful and warming. She kept us in the loop between the hospital, doctor appointments, and TLA. Covid has struck a big communication gap between families and I feel as though TLA has closed that gap as much as they can. Highly recommend this place!
