My husband was at Oakwood for Therapy when he came in he was not thriving and very week. The Social Services department explained to me anout his stay and how it normally works. Within the first week Insurance was wanting him to go home. He was unable to do so to weak and just not able walk with out assistance. Traci and alisha helped me with the appeal process snd told me how to do it. I won seven appeals and this allowed Mark to get better and stronger so ge can walk with one assist and hebis oreparing for discharge home. The staff at Oakwood are great and they kept me updated on his progress. If he would have not had this stay and the care he would not be able yo vome home. I would recommend Oakwood to anyone that needs this treatment.

I just finish my therapy at oakwood on 86-17 -26 I had the most incredible team at oakwood anyone could asked for they was so kind and Sweet and they treated me like I was family, the threapy staff was really incredibly nice and the nurse and all the staff was amazing , I would Recommend them a 100 percent , I would like the thank everyone. My Dad is currently a resident at Oakwood in Tell City and he is thriving there!! They are all so kind and attentive to all of his needs. He loves all the activities that they provide. He always enjoys his meals and the fellowship with the other residents. Everyone treats him with patience and respect. I am also treated like family at Oakwood, just like my Dad. Very impressed when walking in and observing the care that is given. One honorable thing that stands out to me is those whom have• passed away the employees take it upon themselves to have a candle •with a small memorial• in regards to the person• set up in the hallway. Keep up the great work ladies and gentlemen...for our elderly are our history that has built American and I'm very impressed with the warm love that I feel and witness when visiting the residents!!! My mom did therapy there at Oakwood. They did an amazing job with getting her back up and going. We Would recommend Oakwood to anyone. Plus they have amazing nursing staff and therapy staff. And the food is really amazing with lots of chooses. Once again I thank the staff at Oakwood for taking care of my mother there.

I have been to Oakwood for therapy many times and will always return if I need them. There staff treat me kindly, honor my wishes, keep my family informed, and the food is great! They also have music on Fridays and I even attended a campout! They are like family to me! Thanks so much!

There may be no place like home but being at Oakwood Health Campus is as close as you can get. You are made to feel like a member of the family. The staff cares so much for the people they take care of . The food is very good and there always seems to something going on for residents to do. Could not be more pleased with the care my husband is getting.

My father was in Oakwood for approximately 5-6 weeks for rehab. Jennifer Adelson the Director of Admissions was AMAZING! She went out of her way to make my sister and I fully aware and comfortable with every aspect of the facility and its services. The entire staff was wonderful! They were always on top of any needs my father required. I would highly recommend Oakwood for your mother father aunt uncle ect.

I don't think anyone looks forward to going to a nursing facility but our experience with Oakwood made this so easy. My husband needed more rehab and we were referred to Oakwood. From day one we were met with such professionalism and it continued for our stay. Great nurses, CNAs,Therapists and Staff. We loved our night nurse, Tasha. They helped him work hard to achieve his goals so he could come home. This was a great experience for him and our family and if he would ever need to go again, Oakwood will be it. We give it a 5+ star rating. Oh and my beloved dog was allowed to come visit. Now that was the icing on the cake.

Two and a half years ago, our family made the very difficult decision to move our 97-year-old blind mother to Oakwood Health Campus. The care that she receives at Oakwood allows our family to not have the worry if she's okay and that her quality of life is Meaningful. Everyone there makes sure that all moms needs are met. From the nutritious and delicious meals that the kitchen staff serves, to the fun and varied social activities that mom looks forward to, to the superb care from the nurses and the CNAs. Ashley Ambrose, one of Mom's CNAs gives her the kind of care that I myself would give. For that I am forever grateful. Grateful is the word that I would choose to describe Oakwood Health Campus.

Is a great place to live. No stairs, delicious foods delivered. Club house with happy hour every Friday! Exercise equipment to use free. Loved living here when we lived here Oakwood Rehab is great!! On November 2024 I fell into my hallway and broke my humorous bone in my left arm then crushed my wrist on my right arm. I went to Owensboro hospital for 2 weeks. A Lady named Jen came to visit me from Oakwood and I’m sure glad she did. I was treated like a Queen! I picked my own food and actually it was all good! The chef made me certain things to eat. The staff kept my room and clothes very clean. The nurses and aids were great! I was in rehab for 78 days. The therapy department is fantastic!! I still participate in out patient at Oakwood. I recommend Oakwood to everyone!

My mom has lived at Oakwood since late 2020, and I’ve always felt completely comfortable with the care she receives from the staff. They’re truly caring and treat her like a family member. I absolutely enjoyed my time on the rehab unit. The therapy is amazing there, food is amazing with plenty of chooses of food. Also the nursing staff is great there, everyone is so nice. This is the only place I will go for therapy.

What a wonderful place to live... my sister has lived in this AWESOME Campus for about 5 years. I've watched her bloom into a very independent, sweet and happy person. My mother was a resident at Oakwood Health Campus where she received top of the line care. From admission to discharge our family’s experience was above and beyond what our expectations were. Dr. Marcrum was mother’s attending physician. He was committed to making sure my mother’s health improved to help meet her goal of returning home. Mary Cayte Blocker, the executive director took the time to meet my mother and listen to what she felt would make her stay comfortable and successful. Cheryl, Terissa and so many others worked together to make sure that even though mother was there to recover and improve her health that she enjoyed her stay.

I’ve had three family members stay at oakwood and two of them passed away there. The care was phenomenally tied to their personalities and every single one of their staff is friendly, nice, energetic and punctual. They seem to be on the ball for everything they have their hands in and they have their hands in a lot for a facility like theirs. When it came time for my mom to pass, I can’t even express the gratitude I have for their staff, it’s simply beyond words that I could ever express how thankful with our choice to put family there.

I used to provide mental health therapy here for over a year with this facility being one of 12 that I visited. This was by far one of the best. Staff always were friendly, encouraging and supportive of the patients and me. I would recommend my own mother live here if she were alive. SSD is awesome and easy to work with. I drove from Evansville at least 1 time a week and always looked forward to this visit.

my husband and I live in the villas best thing we ever did moving here Everyone is so caring and Loving treats you like family The villa Director Polly Story goes over and beyond to make sure we have everything we need. We have a housekeeper named Laura who is a very sweet young lady. My husband and I have both been patients at the rehab center and were really treated wonderful. Even when I had a stroke and could not get out they brought our meals to our villa. I could go on forever and not name everyone in all the departments that really go the extra mile. I would highly recommend living here
