North River is an excellent facility. My mother had cancer surgery and was in this rehab facility for over a month. The nursing staff, Techs, housekeeping, and cafe/cook staff were all excellent as well as the management team. We are so glad we found this facility.

The campus is gorgeous and very well maintained and my mother absolutely loved the staff. Unfortunately that’s where the positive attributes stop. My mother was staying solely for physical therapy rehab after a surgery and when her discharge date came, we were both very excited. However, when I came to pick her up she was very confused, having hallucinations, and was clearly over medicated. More importantly, she was completely non weight bearing. She couldn’t stand, let alone walk, and was completely independent prior to this. When I called to voice my concerns about releasing her too early, I was told her insurance coverage had run out and that was why she was discharged, something that was NEVER communicated to me prior to her release. Their attitude was very cold and they told me I would have to take her to a hospital. Upon arrival to the hospital she was so over medicated that a rapid response was immediately called due to her extremely low blood pressure and oxygen saturation levels. After some discussion with her and hospital testing, it was revealed that not only had she sustained a fall at North River that was never disclosed, but she had also acquired a very nasty UTI while in their care. I truly don’t know what this facility did for my mother during her stay, because she’s now hospitalized and worse off than when she first arrived. To anyone thinking of sending a loved one here, don’t be fooled by the high reviews. The staff may be kind and the ground beautiful, but ultimately they are careless and medically unfit.

I am a traveling hygienist, and every time I visit this facility, the staff is incredibly accommodating and welcoming. They go above and beyond not only to support outside providers like myself, but”more importantly”to show genuine love, patience, and kindness to the residents. It’s clear this team truly cares, and it makes every visit a positive experience.

North River health campus has been home to my Father for four almost years. We have been pleased with his care, and many of the staff have become like family! I couldn’t imagine any other place for my dad. The family dining room is welcoming, and we are always pleased with the meals! What’s impressive is the theme dinners for residents and family gathering's once a month. We enjoy walks around the campus and it’s always a pleasure to be there!

North River has brought my 95 year old mother back to life! She is here for inpatient rehab after a hospitalization. The staff here are top notch. They truly care about their patients as if they were their family. This holds true for the nurses, techs, therapists, housekeepers, and dining room staff. The facility is immaculate and feels more like a hotel than a healthcare facility. It is so wonderful to know that she is in a safe environment and I can go home and rest easy! I would highly recommend North River!!!

North River is a family orientated place. My Mom is in the assisted living area and I can not say enough positive things about it. She is thriving. She always has activities to attend and is excited to tell me about them. Maintenance does an amazing job. Recently my Mom moved to a new room and they were extremely helpful in moving her things and setting them up. The people working in food service are also very friendly and have taken the time to get to know Mom. The communication from staff is great. They always call or text to inform me of any changes however small. The nurses are compassionate especially Allison. Thank you to each one of the people that have already had such an impact on my Mom. I look forward to see her continue to thrive and enjoy life!

My family recently moved our father to North River. Beyond the excellent tour, staff took time over a holiday weekend to answer countless questions. From moment one, staff were attentive to my father’s needs and our requests. Each staff member is personable and knowledgeable. North River assisted living does a great job! The activities department goes above and beyond to get residents involved and interact. There is a nice monthly brunch for families. The rooms are fully equipped - not too big and not too small. The physical therapy dept. is right there in the building and helpful as needed. Mom has been there one year and has adjusted very well.

Everyone here has been very helpful. Our maintenance personnel have taken care of any problems very quickly. Carla Rice has been very helpful and plans fun activities. We no longer have to worry about a yard work. We have our villa cleaned every other week. Deep cleaning periodically. I would definitely recommend the villas at North River.

I have to say I’ve always been a bit cynical of a facility that offers both long term care and short stay rehab, given that its financially beneficial for them to keep their residents for a long time. North River proved me wrong. Best in class rehab, in a beautiful environment, really good food in a comfortable dining room, and the friendliest and most helpful caregivers you will ever meet. Thanks to them my husband is back home and the strongest he’s been in a very long time.

My grandma recently admitted to North River for rehab. Laura and her team made the admission process so smooth. The accomodations have been wonderful for my grandma as well. I appreciate how kind all the staff is every time I'm there to visit. From the time you walk in to when you leave, there is always someone smiling, greeting you, and offering assistance. It gives me and my family peace of mind knowing my grandma is in great hands.

Nice,clean place but hard to retrieve anyone for help in room. Waited 3.5 hrs w/ help light and constantly calling for help.on to put me to bed. Finally at 11:30 they came and put me in bed. This is just one for instance w/ my family member. Need help EXTREMELY. .

My Mother has been a resident at North River since September 2022. She was not happy giving up her home, but with recovering from a broken hip w/dementia, she has truly fallen in love with her new home at North River including facilities, maintenance, dietary, physical therapy, activities, environmental and ALL nursing staff. I spend most of my time in activities because this team is simply amazing. We have so much fun! Let's not forget the salon stylist who makes my mom feel pretty each week! My mom receives impeccable care daily. She loves all of the delicious meals, care, entertainment and activities. All staff members know my mom's name. My own B/P has dropped significantly knowing she is in an amazing facility receiving the best care available in Evansville. Thank you, North River and Trilogy!
