We placed my aunt here as dementia whittled away her time and light. What Blair Ridge gave us was nothing short of miraculous. We saw her smile return. She found safety within that place. Her laughter returned and she sang again. Obviously, that didn’t reverse her illness but the amazing team of people there made every minute she had left better. They loved her and us, by extension. This place was the single best decision we could have made for her care and we are grateful and blessed by Blair Ridge.

My grandfather had lived alone for many years following the passing of my grandmother. He decided to move into an independent living apartment in the summer of 2024, with the thought that he would transition to assisted living when necessary. He loved not having to cook all of his meals (even as a picky eater, he really enjoyed the food!) and the convenience of the cleaning service, but he really just wanted to be around people again. He was surprised how genuinely the staff cared for him and was even more surprised by how quickly he made friends and how much he enjoyed the leisure opportunities, while still having his own private space. After a few months, he declined from a previous health issue and was admitted to the health center, where he remained for 2 months. He loved the health center staff and was given the absolute best care and attention in his final days. Our entire family felt embraced and truly cared for. Whether living independently, assisted, or with skilled care, the Blair Ridge staff will go above and beyond for your loved one and your family.

I have had several family members taken care of at this facility and they truly go above and beyond for all of their residents. I recently visited my adoptive grandmother there and she said how much she loved all of the staff and how some residents don't even want to go home because of how well they have it made there. I would recommend this facility and their staff to anyone !!

I wouldn't go anywhere else for SARS (subacute rehab services). The staff is collectively competent and caring. The place is like a spa after you start healing. This would ramble if I wanted to list all the homey personal touches they give. Kudos and 5 stars to Blair Ridge!

My great grandma stayed at Blair ridge for rehab she had the best experience everyone was sweet she was always smiling in her words she loved how kind the staff are she said they are always smiling and never hesitate to say hello she just went home and says she misses the smiling faces and good food the facility is very clean and has some amazing views as well. She loved the gardens and being able to watch the birds outside her window that staff set up for her.

My husband has been here four times within A year due to 4 back surgeries and I wouldn’t let him go anywhere else! The staff are wonderful, welcoming and super supportive! They really care about the pt and family members. So much stress has been taken from my shoulders since he has been in their care! They really make sure that all his needs and wants are being met! They have even gone so far as to make sure he has jalapeos for his omelets and mandarin oranges for his meals! I cannot give enough praise to ALL the staff! You all are amazing!

My grandpa was admitted here and all he would talk about was how great the service was here. He enjoyed the meal service and enjoyed how nice the staff were to him. My grandpa said he highly recommends Blair Ridge.

We've been at Blair Ridge with my MoL as a resident for several years, first in assisted living, now in health care long term. The staff truly care for her and our family and we for them. They make every effort to make sure she is well taken care of in every area from food service, housekeeping , activities, nursing staff and I feel most importantly, the CNA staff. They are the day to day faces for her and the level of care they give is excellent. Any time we have run into a any problem, the whole staff including the facility director is jumping to get a resolution and make sure we are satisfied with her care. There is a reason they have a 100% state survey . I highly recommend them to anyone looking for loving , competent care for their family members.

My dad was a resident during covid. It was a very stressful time. He did not get covid which I attribute that to the infection prevention. Thanks to the staff for the care they gave to my dad. He was always clean, fed and busy with activities!

I wanted to hop on here to say thank you to Blair Ridge of Peru. Thank you for the wonderful care and love they provide to my loved one. We have experienced this care for 17 months. When I see the staff (all departments) addressing my loved one by name, stopping to chat goes a long way. If there were any issues I'm sure that would reflect in my loved ones reaction. But no, there are smiles and kissed blown back. Again, all departments treat me and my family with concern and respect. Asking how "we" are doing and encouraging us in this journey. There are so many activities for the residents to take part in if they choose. One of my favorite is the monthly brunch they do for the residents and their families. If you find yourself in need of care for your loved one I would highly recommend Blair Ridge.

I just want to thank the wonderful staff at Blair Ridge. My mom was at Blair Ridge, the staff was so great, and a wonderful place, the room was always so clean, and she was always so well taken care of. The staff was always so kind and caring, I couldn't have asked for anything better for my mom. The staff would go in to hold her hand during a rough moment and would comfort her. The staff at Blair Ridge are not only helpful, but filled with compassion and certainly deserve more than 5 stars. I thank all of you so much for the great care of my mom!

Blair Ridge is an extremely caring & knowledgeable nursing home I would recommend to anyone needing that type of service. They took excellent care of Bob Williams & kept us informed of any vital change or bumps during his stay. Got hospice involved at the point needed. Today aides came in on their day off to say their goodbyes to him. When Eikenberry Eddy Funeral Home took him out nurses & aides lined the hallway & put flowers on him when he passed by them.
