Just finished a travel contract as a nurse at this facility.I have been a nurse for 20 years. This place absolutely is amazing. I have no connection with them other than this travel contract.They absolutely have the best staff including administration.They care for their patients. The Admin know what's going on and are involved with the care of their staff and patients. They have been a breath of fresh air for me. I would definitely be comfortable with my family being cared for here.

Great place that takes care of people with love and respect. Perhaps a bit understaffed but that does not stop them from doing the best they can and to do what is best for the residents.

Maybe it's just me, but it's decent for what it is. The quarters are like modified hotel prison quarters, but the staff are decent.

I have worked in the healthcare industry over 10 years. Florence home has become my favorite nursing home to care for patients in. The way each employee cares for the residents is as if they were treating family is absolutely beautiful. I appreciate everybody there greatly.

The staff tries hard to be caring, while seldom having the help of the pt's families. I have had experience from both pt , professional, and family sides, and there are much, much worse homes.

at the age of 88 I had to put my mom in a nursing home. It was even twice as difficult because mom was deaf from birth and only communicate through American sign language. On mom's first day there they asked me what they can do to make it easier to communicate with mom besides writing it on paper and pencil all the time. Within a few days they had made up flashcards for mom to use and had ASL video available on some of the computers for the staff. From the kitchen service worker who made sure mom had chocolate ice cream for lunch to the hard-working nurses and CNA's on the third floor they all showed nothing but respect for mom. They also have activities for the residents and they encourage everyone to participate. They always asked mom to come join them even if she didn't want to and I'm sure mom ended up having a good time She passed away unexpectedly after only four months and some of the staff were even at her funeral. I think this says a lot about the Florence Home. Their staff is very caring to their residents . I was there almost on a daily basis and saw them interact with some residents that I probably would have difficulty dealing with. But they did it all with kindness and gentleness and understanding. What amazing people they are.

As a healthcare administrative person - I must give this facility a 5 star review. I don't always have a good experience calling a facility & getting answers. HOWEVER, this facility answered right away & both the front desk lady and Lora were extremely helpful & caring for our mutual patient. Well done!
