I moved both of my parents into Allegro at the end of 2020 (during COVID)--it's been almost four years later and when I look back it was one of the best decisions we ever made as a family. Not only is the facility clean and beautiful but every single person that works there is the best of the best...especially the nursing staff. They truly care and they truly put their heart into taking care of our loved ones. Both of my parents have stage 4 cancer along with other chronic conditions but they have thrived here because they get great care and all of their needs are met. The proximity to TGH is a blessing. Between the two of them, there are quite a few medical appointments -- but the Allegro driver takes care of transportation. There have been a few times that they needed around the clock care and/or emergency services and the team at Allegro took care of everything or made new care plans -- the communication is always outstanding and transparent. It is wonderful to know that you can trust them. I can't begin to express how thankful I am for the peace of mind they have given me. I love knowing that there is a great community of caring staff, a great group of other residents and so many activities and outings. Because of them, I get to spend precious time with my parents... instead of trying to be their caregiver. My parents love the ability to remain independent (even when receiving all the assistance) and I enjoy the peace of mind. I researched and toured every place in Tampa. Just a little advice....call the facilities you are looking at after hours and see if anyone answers. There is a huge difference with Allegro because they have a professional, knowledgeable staff...they have someone at the desk and will answer 24/7 -- they will take care of anything you need. I have been out of the country and worried about one of them, called at 2am and they sent someone to the room to give me an update. If your loved one is having an issue, they get someone to the apartment immediately and they communicate. I could go on and on...but dealing with ill and aging parents is hard -- Allegro has made the journey easier on me.

Her attitude is always great, her customer service skills are awesome she takes her job seriously and most of all treats the residents with the up most respect.

Nearly three years ago, my mother became a resident of the Allegro Hyde Park. She, as well our family, could not be happier or more gratified by that choice. As A Tampa native who has considerable experience in senior living with a wife and sister you were in the industry for 30 years, Allegro Hyde Park was a no brainer as its reputation as the finest senior living community in Tampa was well known and, based on mom's experience there, well deserved. Its location, in one of Tampa's most desirable areas, just a couple of miles from our family home, is accentuated by the personal care and attention to every aspect of my mom's needs from the moment she moved in. Of course, everything from the comfort of her apartment, to the delicious daily meals, to the wide array of daily activities and events to promote a healthy mind and body are exceptional. The daily gathering for happy hour in the sky lounge with sweeping views of Bayshore Boulevard is quite a happening! Beyond all of this however, is once again, the care and attention from the Allegro team to their residents. From the day my mom moved in, any concern or trepidation about her safety and enjoyment in her new home completely disappeared. I wholeheartedly and without reservation recommend Allegro Hyde Park for anyone looking for a dynamic and healthy senior living community and for the peace of mind it will give to their loved ones.

I love living at Allegro -Hyde Park in South Tampa! My son and his family live in Tampa and helped me decide to move here from Indiana when I could no longer live alone. ( I had been a Registered Nurse for many years and had been active in developing plans for building an Assisted Living facility adjacent to the hospital so had toured several facilities and studied regulations.) As a family we selected Allegro and have never regretted it! I made this my independent living home for 8 years. I have rather severe Lymphedema and advanced macular degeneration. The facility met all my needs, a doctor on site, very capable physical therapy department, and a competent loving care staff. The dining service and food was excellent! I enjoyed the variety of activities and developed many resident friends. I found the management team to be involved, interested in and helpful to each resident. As time passed, the lymphedema worsened and I required assistance with more activities of daily living so went into their assisted living program while remaining in the same apartment! My care was excellent ; houskeeping weekly kept my apartment clean and healthy; food was delicious with varied menus. I was fortunate to be elected to the Resident Council and enjoyed that function immensely. I celebrated my 85th birthday here! Then a personal family issue necessitated my relocation for a 4 year stretch away from Tampa lnto another facility. I did not like the services! My family agreed and relocated me back to Allegro! I was happily welcomed back "home"! Allegro-Hyde Park is the very best care facility! The environment is serene and exudes the loving care of all staff members. I find them to be knowledgable, efficient, capable and satisfied in their work! I feel safe and content here. I recently celebrated my 90th birthday with a party in our lovely Sky-Lounge overlooking the city! I am so at peace with life in my Allegro community family. A

Allegro has it all: excellent leadership, beautiful grounds and interior spaces and wonderful food and dining rooms. The residents have created a caring and supportive community. Allegro is home! Residents can participate in their choice of activities. The Sky Lounge is a popular place with a full service bar. The daily Happy Hours have weekly live music, sing alongs, and 3 big screen televisions. There is much more to see and talk about. Come visit us. I know you will be impressed, I know I was. My mother has lived at Allegro for 6+ years, and absolutely loves it. What's not to like? Allegro is in an ideal location in South Tampa. Mom has the following services: her bed made and turned down daily; 3 delicious meals delivered daily; weekly cleaning and laundry. She has no stress, which I think is why she's lived to 93! And there are plenty of activities-Mom and I particularly enjoy the wine tastings! And the holiday galas. Allegro may cost a bit more, but it is absolutely the best assisted living facility in Tampa. I wouldn't want Mom to live anywhere else.

Visited this community recently. It is without a doubt the nicest in South Tampa, both the building and the people that live and work there. Was very impressed with the activities program that includes aqua therapy in the on-site pool and the multiple programs available daily, as well as the cocktail lounge on the fifth floor.

About 2 years ago, we began exploring the right new home for my mother and we were so lucky to have discovered Allegro Hyde Park. My mother was able to remain independent despite a decline in her eyesight and she was able come and go as she pleased, while also having the luxury of a being driven with other like-minded residents regularly to the grocery store, church activities and doctor's appointments. She began to make friends and developed a great balance of interacting with others at monthly birthday celebrations, or remaining in her beautiful, clean apartment when she wished to do her own thing. We could have never predicted the past year and how seniors would be affected by Covid-19. At first, I was very nervous about how all would play out. However, it became evident that the management team, as well as every single member of the staff was dedicated to the physical and mental health and well-being of each resident. They adapted safety protocols swiftly and PPE and temperature checks were implemented and all was communicated quickly, efficiently and always with love. As I was not local, the staff coordinated Facetime calls for me to speak with my mother, made holidays in quarantine special and kept her laughing. I highly recommend Allegro Hyde Park to all families as it is a beautiful senior living community full of wonderful residents and a committed, caring, smart staff that is unmatched. If you're thinking about a special place for your parent or loved one, you need to visit Allegro Hyde Park!
