Our family has been so blessed by the care that or Mom and Grandma received at the MayFair. There just are not enough ways to say Thank You for everything that the MayFair did for her. All the care staff are patient and kind. The nurses are knowledgeable, kind, thoughtful and very helpful when difficult decisions need to be made. We honestly did not have a single issue in the six years that we have been involved with the MayFair. We would highly recommend this facility if your loved one is in need of long term care. We give 4.5 stars. My mother in law was at The Mayfair for almost 8 months. From the time she entered The Mayfair until the day she passed she was treated with respect and kindness. They took great care in making her comfortable and whenever we came she was always dressed well and look good. A special thanks to Suki, Maybel and Marcelina who always took time to chat with mom and make her smile. They always had a big hug for mom. We would also like to thank nurses Darian and Brian who helped keep mom comfortable near the end. A big thank you to Janette who always made a point of stopping and chatting to us. She even came outside and sat out on the deck and visited with us and mom during her break. A special thanks to Azita , the Mayfair director who always has an open door policy. A very kind and compassionate individual who would truly take the time to listen. One thing my husband and I feel needs to change is the lack of colour on the walls and inside the building. The Mayfair is a shining light at the end of the road. The staff, the care aids, the lovely staff in the kitchen and of course one of the most important the recreation staff who only try to make each day a better one. I always hoped my Dad could be in a wonderful long term care home and my dream came true. I know that when I cannot visit he is always in good hands. The first time I walked through the doors I could not believe how clean, bright and welcoming everyone was. The same holds true today almost 1 year later. I thank everyone for your professionalism and level of care provided. All together you make the Mayfair a very special place close to my heart. Staff is great, events are good, I think they need a sign in book in the lower lobby. The staff almost always have my mom ready for me to take out for lunch on Sundays. Although a few times i got there late and had to take her out of the lunch room. lol

My husband Wayne passed away on September 18th of this year. For the two years he was there, I have good things to say about his care. Everyone kept me well informed as to what he needed and when. I miss my husband as well as the staff at The Mayfair.

I have had my Father in the Mayfair Senior Home, in Abbotsford for the past 5 years or so. My Father has Alzheimer's and has lost his ability to speak. When we couldn't get him into a home, they helped and arranged space for us in our emergency situation. What a Blessing the Mayfair has been! I believe God directed me to the Mayfair. They have an amazing team of caretakers, recreation staff, nurses, Doctors and the Management. People who genuinely care! The esthetics are very modern, fresh lilies every week. The d©cor and the furnishings are new and fresh. The floors one could eat off. Extraordinarily clean! The food is also amazing, the meals and snacks they provide the residents. If you have particular request for your loved one, they customize and are ready to implement for you. I am so grateful to have my dear Father so well cared for. I wanted to share this with others. I highly recommend this home. As family members we want to have the assurance that our loved ones have all they need and being cared for by people that go out of their way and genuinely "Care"!

We came to visit sister and brother in law with another sister and brother from Az today. Such wonderful caring staff who provided a larger area for us to visit. We have found all the staff so very friendly and it helps so much to know our dear family is cared for in every way.

My mom - with significant dementia - moved to Mayfair over 3 years ago, and our experience has been 100% positive. The staff in mom's small dementia-specific wing are incredibly compassionate and really care for my mom as if she was their own. Over the past many months when often times COVID restrictions meant that I couldn't visit in person, the staff helped facilitate video-calls for my mom with family, and did everything they could to keep mom as active as possible and to help her have as many 'moments of joy' as was possible. Mom expresses to me often how much she likes the staff. The food is good and she has put on weight. The facility is sparkling clean and they keep on top of the endless cleaning that can be required on a dementia wing. I simply cannot speak highly enough about Mayfair Senior Living.

Our family experienced nothing but the best of care for our Dad. All the residents are clean, dressed and part of a daily rhythm that is positive and consistent. The staff was over the top wonderful and went above and beyond in so many instances. Things were tough for sooo long and they hung in there with us and made every accommodation as my dad’s condition changed. I work with seniors daily and have been to many care facilities that you would not wish on anyone. Mayfair is a beautiful example of a clean, bright, positive environment with staff that goes the extra mile.
