Dear Haley, I can't thank you enough for the time you spent yesterday showing us around Maple Ridge Senior Village. The tour was most informative. We were both impressed with the facility. The independent 1 bedroom suites were spacious and offered lovely views. The bistro, dining room, shop and hair salon, craft and exercise rooms were terrific. All in all something for everyone. The hallways were extra wide and made it easy to accommodate wheel chairs and walkers both going in opposite directions. The staff we encountered were friendly and eager to assists us while we waited to meet you. The building was lovely and clean and odour free. Your caring and passion were evident when interacting with residents and calling them by their name. I have read over the additional information you gave me regarding pricing and additional costs. The additional charges for assisted living are definitely something to considering when making a decision going private should assisted living be required. I will do some number crunching ,also keeping in mind annual price increases and heed your warning about getting on the list sooner rather than later if I intend on moving forward with residency at Maple Ridge Senior Village. Maple Ridge Seniors Village offers a recreational calendar for residents to participate in at their option. Activities such as bingo, shuffleboard, exercise room, trips by Village's bus to "dine-out" and a pizza and a documentary movie luncheon, special day celebrations for Diwali, Christmas, Bobby Burns Day, St Patrick's Day, and digital karaoke. So much more to participate in if I want. Wheelchair and walker compatible. Monthly wheelchair and walker and hearing aid repair. Fantastic staff who respect and deeply care for seniors. 24 hour health support services as needed or wanted. Lunch and diner provided in a beautiful common dinning room with table cloths. Several times a month there is musical entertainment for residents enjoyment. There is even a small convenience store available to residents. Would I recommend the Maple Ridge Seniors Village - absolutely.

My mother in law lived both in assisted living and later, residential care. The care was kind and compassionate, the food to her liking and the activities available great. I would happily have another family member live within this community of care.

In February 2022, my family was told our dear dad had to be placed into long term care. We were devastated having to separate our parents. I contacted Maple Ridge Seniors Village and explained my parent's situation. The amount of understanding, empathy, care and professional, friendly service we immediately received was outstanding. Maple Ridge Seniors Village firmly believes in keeping families together. This process first appeared overwhelming, scary and a lot. Maple Ridge Seniors Village helped us through every step of the way. My dad was placed into Residential Care (long term care), while mom moved into her own lovely, bright 1 bedroom suite on the same floor as dad!!! Mom is in the independent/assisted living area. She cannot say enough good things about how kind the staff and other residents are and how much she enjoys the meals, entertainment and winning at bingo weekly. Dad has a nice, bright bedroom, overlooking beautiful, quiet gardens, his own private washroom and incredible professional medical and loving care from every staff member he meets. Maple Ridge Seniors Village has strict Covid protocol for all visitors which my family and I are very grateful for. Our aging parents are so vulnerable to diseases and having each guest checked gives us all peace of mind. My family and I truly cannot say enough good things about Maple Ridge Seniors Village. The building and grounds are kept squeaky clean, well maintained, updated and nicely groomed. Our parents feel safe, secure, and very well cared for. The food is delicious (dad has put on 20 "much needed" pounds since moving in). Every staff member truly does their utmost best to meet the needs of every resident. Maple Ridge Seniors Village is amazing . I work in care and also have my grandma in a care home . What I love the most are the staff specially the GM Bianca . This woman knows every detail of every family and resident in this facility. I heard she is leaving and literally cried . This facility is beautiful. Rec does an awesome job and the care aides are lovely. The food is pretty good. I've only heard they want more variety but really enjoy it mostly . 10/10. Also they did an amazing job during the pandemic . Thank you mrsv

My Mother spent 3 years in the MRSV until her final day on this earth. They made her time there busy and fun. While we were there they were welcoming to our family and worked with us to make her last days as comfortable as they could be. I am sure there are things that could be better but that is the same anywhere. I gave 5 stars because they deserve it in my eyes and I am sure in my late mother's eyes as well. Thank you and keep up the good work.

My father was a resident and this place is awesome! So many activities for the residents and the nurses and staff are so caring and kind. They made my dad feel right away at home and he was so happy there in his stay! I recommend this place to anyone looking for a retirement facility for their loved ones. There are three levels of care. My father was in the middle one. We were so happy with the care he received while he was there. If there was a 10 star rating, I would give this place 10 stars! Thank you MRSV for everything!

My Parents moved to the Maple RIdge Seniors Village 2 years ago. I want to write this review because they deserve it! My parents are 91 and 90 and are both still independant but my Mom had a fall and has been sent to hospital twice. The care and concern is so genuine and real it's unbelievable. The staff go above and beyond to make them feel loved, cared for and safe. They are one of the only places in the Fraser Health Authority that hasn't had a Covid outbreak. I don't want to name any staff because I only know a handful and don't want to leave anyone out but the ones I know have all been amazing! They have all kinds of fun programs that they never want to miss. I am a registered nurse so I know what to look for. It is such a weight off of mine and my brothers shoulders. Kudos to the Maple Ridge Seniors Village!!

My mother had only a few months in independent living at the Maple Ridge Seniors Village before she passed. But that was enough time to get to know the facility and team. The professionalism of the front end staff when we toured and signed contracts. They spoke to her with such warmth. She was nervous of the transition and said she would probably just stay in her suite. That changed quickly when she slowly started to attend the events, music nights, game nights. The recreational team who knew she loved bridge, put it out there and arranged a foursome that played until 10:30pm "laughing at nothing". How she loved it. As a family we attended many events that were fun and organized. The comfort level of the building so clean, a hotel feel. When she first fell, the care aides who checked on her as if she was their mother. Knowing Mom was safe. They have a clockwork system to make sure their residents are accounted for and secure. We have absolutely no regrets about her time spent here. I can't thank the team enough.
