Lindsey, the Community Specialist, greeted me near the entrance in a welcoming manner and explained the common areas that were visible including a sitting area with fireplace, a nurses station and a dining area that included a soup and coffee bar. We discussed what i was looking for and she then gave me a tour of the Memory Care. Staff were visible and residents were active in the community room working with flowers and some were doing puzzles. They had boxes of games and hands on material for families to use with their loved one and they had a calendar of daily activities that residents could attend. There were patios and outdoor areas that were secure for residents. I was happy that I toured Maple Lake.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Maple Lake Assisted Living! The staff truly go above and beyond to make residents feel comfortable, safe, and at home. The environment is warm, welcoming, and full of life, with so many engaging activities that keep everyone involved and smiling.

The staff of Maple Lake has been very gracious and very particular when taking care of my aunt, they have shown patience, empathy and a willing to go above and beyond to make sure her needs was taken care of. Great facility and friendly staff! I was a volunteer for a mother's day event and the turn out was amazing. The Executive Director Marianne Love was exceptionally warming and inviting to the guest and residents towards the event. I recommend any family move a loved one in this lovely home.

I have visited Maple Lake a few times and each time the building looks great. The staff and residents all look happy and very friendly. I would recommend this facility to anyone. There always seem to be something going on in activities too!

As medical staff it is so nice to go into a facility in which staff seek you out to ask questions, want learn how to improve on individual resident care, and don’t disappear as soon as we have questions or want to teach them.

I have been visiting in this facility since they opened. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The staff is kind, helpful and cheerful. Residents are well cared for. The meals are delicious. There are activities in every area and the residents are busy and engaged. The rooms are large with plenty of space in the bathrooms to maneuver with walker or wheelchair. The grounds are beautiful with lovely fenced courtyards. I give Maple Lake Assisted Living my highest recommendation.

It gives me great pleasure to write a few comments pertaining to Maple Lake Assisted Living. It is difficult to adequately express how outstanding this facility is in such few words. Nevertheless, families can relax knowing that their loved ones are not only well taken care of, but they are living in stellar conditions! Indeed, much time and thought is put into running this facility and it well seen from the moment one enters the front doors. The leadership and stewardship that ensures MLAL is an outstanding example of a facility that values dignity, respect, and compassion for all its residents. All staff deserve recognition: the personal care attendants and nurses are very attentive and treat the residents with much significance and consideration; housekeeping maintains superb cleanliness in all rooms, hallways, and bathrooms; on duty at all times is Terry to perform any and all domestic repairs; and all residents are served nutritious, home cooked meals from the friendly kitchen staff. Furthermore, the residents are entertained with engaging activities which are scheduled throughout the day by Carmon. Carmon does an outstanding job ensuring all residents familiar activities are replicated. Indeed, these activities are well rounded, stimulating, and most of all fun!! Without doubt, much thought and care surrounds all residents at MLAL. This allows all families to rest easy knowing their loved ones are in great hands!!

We have had my Mom in Maple Lake for over a year now and we couldn't be happier with the care and facilities.. The staff is AMAZING! Administration is always accessible. She is well cared for and all her needs are attended to. I have absolutely no complaints. We had mom in a different facility before this (a highly advertised and pricey one at that) and there is absolutely no comparison.. Maple Lake is the GOLD STANDARD!

Maple Lake Assisted Living sits in a very quiet area of Paw Paw just minutes away from the hospital. It looks clean and fresh and smells clean and fresh as well. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!

The environment is encouraging and provides a great opportunity for residents to interact by participating in exercise, weekly group meetings, gardening, game playing and live music events. We LOVE Maple Lake assisted living. They have provided us a lovely place to come with our daycare children to trick or treat for many years now. Not only are the workers very pleasant, but all the residents look VERY happy. It is also the most pleasant smelling place I have ever been too!! My mother stayed here after surgery for about 3 weeks. She had a lovely, clean, and comfortable room. I have visited other long term patients and have always seen a very clean facility, sufficient staffing, and safe conditions. The staff is friendly and interacts well with residents. There seems to be a varied and healthy menu, many activities, yet small enough for residents and caregivers to know each other and staff to provide a very individual experience.
