Wonderful home away from home! I love visiting Dad and I'm so happy we choose Aksarben as his home. They even have a welcoming committee when they move in and a ribbon cutting ceremony. Dad absolutely loved this gesture and solidified that Aksarben is where he is meant to be. Thank you to Colleen and your wonderful staff for showing so much support and kindness.

This community is stunning. Right when you pull up you see the well maintained walkway, entryway, and beautiful sitting room. Loretta was such a pleasure to get a tour from and really knew about the building and all the amenities they have.

I have worked here for almost 2 years I have truly loved every moment! I've not only bonded with my residents but the families as well. I even got a tattoo that a residents daughter drew for me to always have there mom with me. Aksarben is such a beautiful place and loving environment! We're like a huge family and everyday is extraordinary!

I work with the staff in Meadowlark and they are some of the most caring and hard working people. The compassion they show everyday goes above and beyond. They are willing to spend extra time to do hair and nails and I've even seen staff go to Walmart and buy a resident birthday cake and bring it back to make with them. They work hard and sometimes long hours to make sure the residents are getting the care they deserve. I'm honored to work side by side with this team.

We toured Aksarben Village Senior Living Community this week. It is beautiful, modern, spotless, and felt warm and fun. There was a cooking event going on and a published author was doing a book reading for the residents that day. The apartments were a lot larger than we thought they'd be, which was a nice surprise. There is plenty of storage in the kitchen, bedrooms and bathroom. It has underground parking, which is important to my dad. The staff was friendly to us and seemed to be happy to be there. Aksarben checks all of our boxes and I wanted to thank Loretta and Autumn for all of their time and answers during our folk's tour!

Mom was at Aksarben in Assisted Living for a short time. There were many things to love about Aksarben Village Senior Living including the care Mom received from her two main aides, the food was excellent, and the apartments are lovely and well maintained. The consistent, full time front desk staff were great too. The East side looks out over the Keystone walking trail. It is a quiet place and many of the residents are well established and have been there for a long time. If we had been there longer, I think Mom would have eventually assimilated and found her friend-group. It takes time to get to know new people.

I moved my 100-year old Dad into Aksarben Village right after Christmas and everything went very smoothly. Dad was anxious to move quickly and the Aksarben staff was very accommodating in moving the process faster than usual. Since the move in we have requested modifications to Dad's apartment (most of which were at our expense, as expected) and management has been very willing to work with us. Dad likes the food, especially the breakfast and fish entrees during lunch or dinner. Even though Dad is in independent living, the staff have gone the extra mile to help him, when needed.

My sister came to live here 2 weeks ago and I can't believe how friendly and helpful all of the staff are. Everyone is extremely responsive responding to any questions we have. They are proactive and give us advice on how to make the transition as smooth as possible. All of the residents seem happy and healthy. The food is great and the facility is very clean and inviting. I am so grateful that we were able to make this choice.

Aksarben Village has been a great experience for my mother-in-law. The food is terrific. The staff is kind and helpful. The activities are fun. She is safe and not alone. I have been living here 2 weeks now. In that 2 weeks all staff, accommodations, food, and activities are of the highest quality. The facility is approximately 8 years old and I chose this one over several others in the Omaha area. I would highly recommend it to anyone considering either independent or assisted living.
