I have been teaching a chair Zumba class at the Landings for several years now. It is a wonderful place with a great staff. They have so many amenities and activities to keep them happy and moving. It is a beautiful throughout the facility. I highly recommend The Landings.

My in-laws have been living at The Landings for over two years now. Recently, as they require more care, my husband and I”along with our dog, Oscar”have been visiting daily rather than our regular weekly visits. Through this, we’ve had the chance to truly experience The Landings community, and I want to express my deep appreciation to the staff. From the administration and front desk receptionists to the nurses, caregivers, kitchen crew, activities staff, and support team”everyone plays a vital role in making The Landings feel like home. We’ve enjoyed dining in the cafeteria with my in-laws, and over time, we’ve come to really appreciate Diego and his crew”they’ve been so helpful and polite. The soup is always flavorful and hearty, full of vegetables and meat, and the menu offers a great variety beyond just the daily special. My mother-in-law especially appreciates the room service (as she calls it) when meals are delivered to her room. She often says it feels like she’s on vacation! The beautifully prepared holiday buffets are another highlight. The menu changes with each occasion, and the festive dishes are always flavorful and well-prepared. The fresh flowers on the dining tables and the thoughtful holiday buffet presentation add a lovely touch that makes the experience feel special for both residents and their families. We are especially grateful for the nurses and caregivers who treat my in-laws with such kindness and patience. The activities team also does a wonderful job, and we love how welcoming they are to family members joining in. Just the other day, I took my mother-in-law to Sunday muffins and song time, and I had just as much fun as she did watching the residents sing along to oldies and enjoy themselves. Update “ September 2025 (My mother-in-law has recently been joining more of the memory care activities, and my father-in-law shared that she always comes back feeling so happy. One time, I was watching her play chair volleyball, and she was having such a wonderful time interacting with other residents and the staff. Seeing her so engaged and joyful was incredibly heartwarming.) Of course, no place is perfect, but what we truly appreciate is the effort The Landings puts into making this a supportive and joyful community for its senior residents. Challenges are inevitable, but it’s clear that the staff works hard to address concerns and create the best possible experience for everyone. Their dedication does not go unnoticed. Now, it’s Oscar’s turn to give his review”he absolutely loves visiting The Landings! The moment we arrive, his tail starts wiggling with excitement as he trots through the doors, ready to greet everyone. The front desk staff even ensures that Oscar only gets his special treats due to his allergies. The staff and residents shower him with attention, giving him plenty of scratches and love. A neighbor once shared that her young son told her he would love to live at The Landings when he grows old because it feels like a hotel for seniors. He might be onto something! 🙂

Lovely and elegant. It reminds me of an upscale hotel. Yet upon entering the apartments it definitely has a feel of home depending of course on the resident and how they choose to decorate. I know that there are always activities many residents participate in. You can pretty much spend your days as you wish if you're a resident either quietly in your room or you can socialize with one of the various activities that are offered throughout the day 7 days a week. If you're looking for a place for your mom dad or perhaps they are this is a great option.

Staff are very friendly! Rooms are decent size and really clean, as it’s still very new. Facilities and activities and always running. We also love the van that can take our dad places and he doesn’t have to drive!

My mother-in-law moved into The Landings in April. She was terrifed. Now she is happier and better fed and rested than she has been in years. Her apartment is one of the smaller ones, but it feels more spacious and is certainly brighter than her old place. Staff and other residents are very welcoming. She has gotten involved in MANY more activities in The Landings than she ever had living on her own. We recently rented out their beautiful Pub for a family party.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. I was there to install a camera for my Aunts room. The girl at the Desk indicated the internet was not working. I installed the camera without finishing the install because after being there an hour the internet still never worked. I would’ve been really frustrated with myself if she never told me that the internet wasn’t working. I was thankful.

We had to move my Mom from NY to Batavia where she would be close to me in January. We chose The Landings because of its location, the beautiful facility, and the knowledgeable staff. I had no idea just how good a decision this would be. My Mom requires Memory Care, but she also had some unique additional needs; in all honesty, I wasn't sure the staff would "get" my Mom. I took a month leave from my work to be w my dementia -laden Mom every day to help her w this transition, and I'm so glad I did. Not only could I be w her to learn about some of her patterns and needs, I got to interact know all the staff and get to know them well. What I learned is that the staff is made up of incredibly dedicated people who truly "get" Dementia. Mom was previously in a Memory Care unit of a rehab facility for the past two years, but they just didn't seem to understand patients' unique needs and how Dementia can affect people and present in so many different ways. But at The Landings, it seemed none of the challenges my Mom has to live w and experience were a surprise to them. Nothing she says or does is new to them. They have handled every difficult thing about her with knowledge, grace, kindness, and strength. Turns out The Landings trains their staff on Dementia and Alzheimer's, so that everyone that works w your loved one is knowledgeable--not just the nursing staff, but everyone that cares for patients. They understand when I laugh, and they understand when I cry, and they help me understand my Mom's disease in a way I didn't before. When I am impatient w her, they are patient with her...and with me. When I have cried tears of loss over who my Mom was, they've listened and understood. And this is from the daily rank-and-file caregiving staff! The nursing staff, Yuliza and Tara, are so kind, knowledgeable, understanding, and responsive. The Executive Director, Tony, has taken the to checked in w me to make sure all is well. I could not ask for better people to be leading those that work w my Mom. When you are there anywhere from 6-13 hours a day for a month, if there are any weak links in the chain, you will find them. I have not found any. So grateful to the whole staff at The Landings for their excellent, personal care of my precious Mom!

We found The Landings when touring communities last year for my mother-in-law. What a find! From Carolyn in Sales/Marketing, to Pedro in Maintenance, to the absolutely wonderful and kind front desk staff, not to mention the extensive activities offered every single day, and the out of this world dining options, we could not have asked for a better experience!

My father has lived at The Landings for quite a while and in different levels of care, and they have been exceptional in the care provided. The leadership is responsive, hands-on, and helpful. The nurses and caregiving staff are exceptional and attentive. And the administrative / operations team is quick to assist upon request. Would highly recommend all around!

My mom has lived in the assisted living section of the Landings in Batavia for 1 month. In the short time that she has lived there, we couldn't be happier with the facilities, food and staff! The amenities are exceptional, the staff are all extremely friendly and helpful and the attention to medical detail is excellent! She is right where she needs to be and is in good hands I would highly recommend!

The visit was great. The staff is incredibly responsive and helpful. The only issue is with Accu shield. The app provides no useful functionality. Can’t sign in. Can’t sign out. This has been going on for many months And the kiosks in the building have never been able to read the Q code on the app t to check in or out.

My wife has done laundry, clean out the refrigerator and sweep. We found towels and clothing that had been there for over 2 weeks. This is a service that is provided by the Landing’s then why is it not done.
