An Absolutely Wonderful Experience at The Goldton at Venice From the moment we arrived, everyone at The Goldton at Venice made us feel genuinely welcomed. My mother recently moved into the community, and during the transition we stayed in one of their guest rooms for three days while we moved her belongings into her apartment. The entire experience exceeded our expectations. A special thank you to Karla at the front desk. She is one of the warmest, kindest, and most positive people you’ll ever meet. Every time we saw her, she greeted us with a smile and was always eager to help. She truly made us feel like family. I’d also like to recognize Laurie, who went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. She handled every request quickly, checked in on us regularly, and made certain we were comfortable throughout the entire process. Her kindness and professionalism were greatly appreciated. The hospitality from the staff was incredible. They generously provided us with complimentary breakfasts and dinners during our stay, which was such a thoughtful gesture and made an already stressful move so much easier. What really stood out was the atmosphere. Every employee seemed genuinely happy to be there, and that positive energy was contagious. It’s clear they care deeply about the residents and their families. The community itself is beautiful”spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, and designed with comfort in mind. We looked for an independent living facility for my father after my mom passed. Kelly gave us a tour and tolerated several visits. The Goldton really stood out from the rest and we were so excited to move him in there. We continue to be impressed. The facility is beautiful and the 3 restaurants to choose from is unique and allows for some variety. The food is very high quality and so many choices for him! Chef Caitlin does a great job! As for the staff - they have been remarkable. They are energetic and creative. Laura seems to set a high standard for care and I see it time and time again. Chris really helped my dad get his place together after he moved in. Chris really defines going above and beyond (even after our movers clipped the overhang). I really recommend checking this place out.

My husband and I had reached a point in our lives that we knew we no longer were able to live independently in our home. We checked out several places in the location we preferred and found The Goldton at Venice would fill our needs. We moved in in September 2025 and have never regretted it. The Goldton offers so much and fulfills so many needs. The management and staff are caring, friendly and helpful. We have been blessed with many friends and a helpful caring community. I just spent a few wonderful days visiting my mom at The Goldton at Venice in Florida. I can’t begin to express how happy I am that we followed the recommendation of a local advisor and brought mom here to live. First, the physical environment: the building was immaculately clean, well-organized, and thoughtfully designed. It had a bright, welcoming atmosphere that immediately put me at ease ” nothing like the sterile, institutional feel you sometimes encounter. But the real standout was the staff. Every team member I encountered was warm, attentive, and genuinely compassionate. My wife and I love the Goldton, the atmosphere is very friendly and the staff is wonderful!! Juan in maintenance and Brooke the move in coordinator are so helpful and never turn you down. The community has an abundance of things we enjoy like the pool, opportunities to exercise, and the food is wonderful! We particularly enjoy bingo 3 times a week and Saturday night bingo with Chris once a month! The jazz ensemble is wonderful!! David hirsch and his band are amazing. Lastly my wife patty and I feel very secure here, there is always staff on duty. And the 24 concierge is wonderful!

I have been a resident of The Goldton at Venice for the past two years. I like that this senior living facility is only three years old and very well maintained. The staff is very helpful and friendly, and there is a host of activities of all kinds. Among them is live music including a jazz band. There is an array of games and puzzles, outings out of the building and weekly maid service. There is always something going on, and new friends to make. I like it here!

I own a private care company. I have been seeing clients at the goldton for a couple years. The building is beautiful and the food is good. The bistro and bar is a great place to have a bite to eat and chat with friends. I’ve noticed that they do not have a huge staff turnover like most places I visit, Which is a huge plus and shows how well they treat their employees. Having had the opportunity to see the inner workings of many Independent Living Communities and Assisted Living Facilities, I can say The Golden at Venice is a community I would place my loved one in. The entire staff is extremely caring, dedicated professional, and strive to create a loving and nurturing environment for all residents. Notably, Laura and Meredith, as well as Kelly, are exceptional! The community is beautiful, and the Apartments are spacious and well designed. The amenities are top notch..: The pool, lounge, activities, and green spaces are all well appointed and extremely well maintained. The dining options are plentiful and the chef creates a great menu. My mom was one of the first residents of the Goldton in Venice. We were looking for a place where she was comfortable and had a true community surrounding her as she aged in place. The Goldton is a beautiful and caring place for people to actually thrive. From meeting new friends, to the social events and classes. Not only are the facilities wonderful, but the staff is truly amazing. Truthfully, my mom was treated not just as a resident, but as a member of the family. How many places can we think of where that is true? You really see what people are made of, not only on a day to day, but when unexpected health issues arise and family is far away. Laura and her team are the most caring, thoughtful, and dedicated people I could have ever asked for. My mom's journey from active and independent living to needing more care was made possible through the efforts of the team at Goldton. My heartfelt thanks.

From the first time we toured the Goldton, I knew it was the best place for my dad. It was beautiful and everyone was so kind. Dad only spent 4 months there before he passed but out experience was nothing short of excellent. You are part of a family when you move in here. My brother and I live out of state and it was a bit scary depending on others to keep dad safe and sound. From the 24 hour concierge staff to the Director, to the Wellness Coordinator, to the kitchen staff, housekeeping staff, maintenance staff---each and every one were there for him and for us. It's clean. It's beautiful. The food is fresh and delicious. Communication was outstanding. Each phone call, each email were answered promptly and professionally. I would not hesitate to tell anyone who needed independent living or assisted living to feel comfortable making the decision to live here. It's worth what you pay. It's worth more than that!

I was at The Goldton at Venice visiting my Grandmother for the first time since she moved into the assisted living. The building is beautiful, clean, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. I got off the elevator and they greeted me the second I walked out. We had lunch in the Bistro and they had quick service and the food was wonderful. This makes me very happy that my Grandmother is very well taken care of and she is loves the place!

The Goldton at Venice went above and beyond for anyone and everyone that needed a safe place for Hurricane Milton. My mother lives in Venice and once she heard they were taking anyone who needs shelter we went running. Being in zone A was terrifying, not knowing what was coming for us. Getting to the building they had a room assigned to us with everything we would need to feel at home. The building lost power but with the generator kicking on, it kept the building going strong! Worried about what would happen if my mother couldn’t get power for her CPAP, their staff went running around to all the residents and guests that needed power for their devices. The staff of this building went BEYOND expectations to make sure we all felt safe and comfortable. Highly recommend The Goldton at Venice!!!!

My mom had medical issues that necessitated her move to an independent living facility. After an extensive search, she selected the Golton in Venice for her place of residence. What a great choice for independent living! My mom enjoyed the various activities there, including the bridge ladies and fantastic amenities for health and entertainment (Bernard’s!). The staff was great, rooms are big, and they have a fantastic balcony. The availability of the pool there was a tremendous benefit for health. Great place!!!!!

Update: I didn’t want to leave a negative review, but I can’t not say anything to what happened. My grandmother fell the week after Christmas. She said they took X-rays but nothing was found. When I arrived on January 11, my grandmother could not walk, was wheelchair bound, and was in a lot pain. Right away I noticed her foot and leg were swollen. We spoke to the Medical Wellness Director who then ordered compression socks and a new x-ray. Come to find out she did have a broken hip. I’m NOT blaming them for the fall but I was upset that there was 0 documentation of her fall and she was overlooked for 2 weeks with her pain and swelling. I had call logs that showed the 4-5AM calls I received from their nurse about the fall. I flew in from New Jersey to handle the sale of the house and her car to a whole new problem. If I didn’t come when I did, how long would she have continued to be in pain and swollen unnoticed? I hope it was a serious lesson learned but make sure things are taken care of and documented with your loved ones. My grandmother moved in to this facility on November 29. I have seen her truly blossom being at The Goldton. The all inclusive rate makes perfect sense in the long run vs a plan of care. Everything she needs is right there and the facility is gorgeous! You can tell the difference executive director, wellness director, and sales director really do care about the outcome of their residents, and it’s not just a sales pitch to get you in the door.

My brother Jim has been a resident at Goldton of Venice since November 1,2023. I recently spent 10 days visiting him for 4-5 hours each day as I live out of state and wanted to spend as much time as I could with him. With this intensive look each day I was truly touched by the attention and quality care my brother is receiving from his care givers. Management and desk staff were also attentive and kind as well and knew Jim by name. I was also impressed with feed back opportunities for residents and family for planned activities. I returned home feeling my brother is living his life safely with dignity and proper care for his condition. Thank you Goldton for your dedication and service.

The entire team at the Goldton have been very helpful in what can be a difficult transition for a loved one. Just this AM, the cleaning staff saw that my mother was going to miss breakfast, and even though she is in an independent living unit, they took the time to check she was feeling OK and then brought her breakfast before the restaurant closed. The facility is also very nice with 2 restaurants and a beautiful bar that is open for socializing every day. Keep it up!

My parents moved here after my dad had a debilitating stroke and it was too much work for my mom to keep up the family home on her own. I love visiting! The Goldton is like living at a brand new 5 star all inclusive resort. I am an interior designer and the styling of this place is superb. The staff are all friendly and wonderful and they can never do enough to help. My parents have made a good group of friends at this community and they often all meet up for dinner together in the evenings at one of the three restaurants available onsite. The food is very good, is made to order and various activities on and off site abound . My dad can do all of his PT and OT without needing to leave and my mom gets the chance to take a break. The Goldton is excellent value for money in my opinion but the peace of mind I have in knowing my parents aren’t alone to fend for themselves anymore is priceless. I used to worry constantly when I left them to go home but now I feel relieved knowing they are safe, comfortable and happy. The added bonus is that if ever needed, there is assisted living and memory care available onsite, so they won’t need to worry about moving again unless they want to.

I went to their open house as I was looking for someplace for a family member in need of memory care. I was blown away by how welcoming The Goldton feels. The Goldton seems like a resort with several dining areas, its own movie theater, spa, fitness center, and pool! They have a concierge doctor available as well as aquatic physical therapy! The staff are all so polite and greet residents by name! I not so jokingly asked if they'd let me move in, too!

Beautiful facility! But most importantly, the staff is hardworking and WONDERFUL! They are kind, patient, and giving, and they take every step to ensure comfort and joy for their residents. I’ve never heard a complaint about their meals either. It’s a great Independent Living facility, with Assisted and Memory Care to open in near future.

Assisted Living Center uses the term "assisted living" or "personal care" to inform users that a community provides assistance with some Activities of Daily Living (ADL's). It may not meet your state's legal definition required for that level of care.
