This is such a great place. Jennifer the administrator and the whole leadership team Abraham and Karra were so attentive. The staff truly go above and beyond to make sure that the resident is taking care of and make you feel like home. I highly recommend.

Very nice place, the Wind Flower nursing has a great rehab department. The food is excellent and not like any nursing home that I have had the opportunity to visit. I would stay there if I ever had to.

My loved one has been at the memory care center for over a year. I am very pleased with administration and the health care staff who have provided excellent care. Clean facility, good food and directed activity help to maintain physical and memory health. Patient's here have different needs and they accommodate each one as needed. I like the large remodeled living room area where they can have activities, interact, walk, watch TV and get supervised outside patio time. Even have monthly group birthday parties. It's a blessing to my loved one. I can rest assured knowing they are watched over and cared for each day. Thank you.

Ever since the new Director has taken over about 10 months ago, the place has done dramatic changes for the better! Maintenance is on top of their game. Ground keeping is up-to-date with beautiful gardens and freshly trimmed grass and trees. The caretakers for the residence show compassion and dedication. Housekeeping is detailed and efficient.

I love working at The Craig. As part of the Environmental Services team we are constantly striving for better ways to ensure our residents and coworkers live and work in a clean, safe environment. The longevity of our department speaks for itself, we love taking care of our residents and leave every day feeling like we have made a difference in their lives. My mother in law lived here for years in a cottage and then in Assisted Living, she loved this place as well as the rest of our family. The food and service is outstanding! I highly recommend The Craig!

First of all let me make it clear I am not staying here nor do I have a relative here seems like a great place would probably wanna be placed here if im being placed somewhere !! I called in my clients food order ! Came down to the cafeteria at 20 after 5 pm her order was not on the shelf so I got at the back of the line the guy at the beginning if the line asked if I was here for "name of client" i said yes he said ok it'll be a minute ! Then the next person in line a hispanic lady said who are you here for ? I informed her of who i was here for and she rudely said you need to wait outside !!! It is 5:44 there is no one in line and i am still sitting outside waiting in my clients meal !! She is a fall risk therefore she is upstairs alone in her apartment right now !!! At 5:46 she came out with the meal said here I'm sorry it got really full

This isn't a review, but a question because this is the only place my dad was approved for in patient physical therapy in amarillo. I am somewhat nervous about him staying here due to all of the reviews (the recent ones) and just from what I've heard around amarillo regarding how the workers at this place do not care or take care of the patients properly. My question is, has anybody reported the neglect that I've seen discussed on here with the state? If so, what were the outcomes? I am hoping for the best but preparing myself.

My husband an I moved here almost 3 years ago. We have not regretted it for one moment. During the pandemic, they certainly watched after us, now that things are lightning up, they're doing wonderful things for us. I rec livi g here to all.

I visited many other senior living facilities in Amarillo and they did not compare with The Craig. I really appreciate all the help, maintenance, and services that are provided here.

My Dad happily lived here for years. He complained more and more about the food. After we moved him out they dd not fulfill contract obligations in a timely manner. I have heard they have dragged their feet in fulfilling financial obligations with other former residents as well. 2 stars only because the cafeteria staff were very pleasant. Management is terrible with communication.

I work with Ashlee Wortham in the Sagecreek building a ton. She truly loves her residents, her staff, and her job in general. I highly recommend giving her a call if you or a loved one is needing assisted care.

My grandmother lived there 18 years, 17 & 1/2 independently. Those years were great--lots of events, activities & socials for her to be as involved as she wanted. However, when she developed dementia & needed more help, that's when things got bad. Assisted living has about a 2 to 15 patients ratio, and at no time there did she see a medical doctor. The nurse practitioner prescribed meds for anxiety that made her dopey, & she fell 3 times & needed to go to the hospital. The last time she broke her neck & they brought her to nursing unit after the hospital. They didn't want her there because of wandering so then transferred her to memory care. All these changes in location, from independent down to memory care--four in all plus hospital visits within two months---are very hard on a patient with dementia. Plus, it's astounding to me that a medical doctor never saw her while she was there. There are good people there, but the care she needed wasn't given to her. It was a bit of a blessing when she had a strep infection, and the medical doctor transferred her to a hospital where they specialize in infections. Now she is done with the Craig and I'm glad. Great for Independent living, but I cannot recommend their higher levels of care.
