The staff at Serra Sol are very helpful and patient with their residents. They call to inform you if your loved one fell although they aren't seriously hurt, but al least you know they are attentive. Great place with a lot of fine activities.

As a hospice Chaplain, having visited many memory care facilities over the past 22 years, this is by far the best in my opinion! Every time I come by the staff is engaged, those residing at this facility are always involved in some type of activity, and if there's ever a need that any one of these precious residents have the staff is there immediately to provide the assistance that they need. When I visit, the staff are always attentive to my needs as well helping to orient me to the residents' rooms or where they might be at any given time. And that attentiveness begins right there at the front door. Serra Sol truly defines the difference between ordinary and extraordinary, always doing that little extra which, for those that they serve, makes all the difference In their day! They definitely live up to their name, Serra Sol..."House of Sunshine"!

My sister continues to have a very good experience at Serra Sol. Staff are universally helpful and pleasant. Had a very nice brunch there today with and staff worked very hard to make it a great time.

Both of my parents have been at Serra Sol since it opened. ALL of the staff are so wonderful - knowledgeable and caring - takes a very special person to take care of people with dementia and I am forever grateful. Today, they took the residents to the dana point harbor for a picnic. My parents loved it! The nurse Aidi is very knowledgeable in memory disorders and treats each resident with the upmost dignity and respect. She has always been available every time I text or call her. She is an absolute gem. The caregivers are compassionate and patient - true angels! I recently had relatives in from Texas to visit my parents. We were able to bring all the family into the beautiful private dining room at Serra Sol and were served a delicious meal. The staff was so courteous and helpful. They took a lot of photos for us! My parents were so happy and we will always remember the special visit we had.

I know director Susan Peterson when she was the director in Kearney NE and she helped me reach the decision to place my mom at Country House in Kearney NE. Susie was very professional and was never pushy with me, but gave me great direction while I was deciding what was best for my mom. My mom has been a resident at Country House for almost 3 years and it was a great decision to move her there. Her care has been great and she is treated very respectfully and the staff is great to work with. Thanks Susie for helping me make that tough decision! My Mom has been in memory care at Country House in Kearney, NE for 3 1/2 years. Susie was the director there for most of that time. She was absolutely wonderful to my Mom and so easy to work with. If we had questions, she was always very helpful in finding solutions. I knew, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that she had my Mom's best interest in mind in every one of our discussions. I also knew she loved my Mom and that means the world to me. Susie is a very talented leader and will serve this community well.
