Our mom was at Prelude for 3 1/2 years. When she moved in she was mobile and didn't require very much physical care but during her last year she needed a lot of care, she received very good care. I feel most of the staff have a genuine heart to be there, so many kind caregivers, it's not an easy job. The administration is amazing to work with, from Angie helping us move in, Pastor Steve meeting spiritual needs and helping with more than spiritual needs, like moving furniture. Valerie planning activities, Carrie making yummy meals. What I really appreciated was when I did have a concern they listened and were quick to address the issue. A smaller quiet community was what mom needed and the cottage was perfect for her. She loved the outdoor patio space and to help tend the flowers. Prelude was a great fit for mom and our family. We always felt very welcome, thank you for taking such wonderful care of our mom.

My Mother has been at Prelude Homes and Services for about 5 years now, and she has received very attentive, compassionate care, and support. The entire staff are engaging and proactive with many various daily activities, including important spiritual gatherings to nourish her strong faith. The daily/monthly calendar and news are very comprehensive and creative. The daily meals and menu are very good. My Mother is in a very good place. I give Prelude Homes and Services my highest recommendation. Thank you so much Prelude for giving my Mother a great place to live and thrive.

My mother has been at Prelude Homes in Woodbury for over a year now. Since she has been there she has been thriving! She especially enjoys Pastor Steve and his church services and singing as well as the many activities that Valerie provides. When we were searching for a place for our mother, we had such excellent service from Angie and she really helped us understand their mission and values! I have nothing but wonderful things to say about all the staff from maintenance to the great chef to the nursing staff and administration. I highly recommend Prelude Homes for anyone that has a loved one in need of memory care!

We have had a wonderful experience with the staff at this home. Our mom was a nurse and consistently told us she felt safe, enjoyed the food, received respectful care and felt she was treated with the utmost dignity in her late stage of life. The staff delivered on what they said they would do for us and followed up timely with all communication. They treated us and our mom like family. This is a faith based facility and you could sense their passion from day one until mom passed last week. Several caregivers told us it was an honor to serve mom. They provided for moms needs physically, psychologically and spiritually. Highly recommend and so grateful to have their share with us in moms care.

Began working here as a new CNA. Overall, I was shocked at the unprofessional workplace the staff created as well as the poor treatment to residents. Little training was given to myself on lifts, passing medications and overall care of these residents. The main areas are nice but the rooms are small and disheveled. Staff were rude and only there to collect a paycheck. My goals on gaining experience were reached by leaving this company and finding employment elsewhere.

Prelude Woodbury is a a place to be. Job satisfaction as a worker for over six months cannot be an overstatement. The housing Director , Megan is making the place homey and with two new houses in Woodbury, there are lots of openings for overtime. I was looking for jobs but I think I got my final bus stop here in Prelude Woodbury. Megan, please keep up the good job for which you take care givers as primary.
