I've had the pleasure of beginning a working relationship with this memory care building and it's been nothing but pleasant. Since my first encounter with Jennifer, she's made referring to this Assisted Living Memory Care easy! Residents look good, the esthetic of the community itself is beautiful as well as welcoming and it is clean and smells nice. During my tour I noticed that the residents are engaged and look great. I am happy to be a referring agency for seniors in need of memory care. (Delta Senior Referral Services).

Jennifer and her staff have been God sent. Our grandmother quickly acclimated to the facility thanks to the caring staff. The activities that Naylea (spelling?) and Paige have the residents perform keep them engaged and give them a sense of belonging. Thank you for treating them all with dignity and kindness.

Jennifer was an amazing help and made my family very comfortable! She helped with every step of the way and continues to make sure my Grandma has the best life there! I highly recommend Orangeburg. It was simple and perfect for me to put my Grandmother in there and she is so very happy with staff and other members.

I had to make the hard decision to put my dad in memory care. When I toured Orangeburg memory care I loved it. My dad is so much more active here. He is doing so well. Everyone who works there has been so kind to me. I love it here. Jennifer has been so great. She knew how hard it was for me and helped a lot.

My uncle has lived here for 10 years and he is loved and cared for well. The facility is beautiful and very clean. There are fun activities and the Administrative Director Lacy is so kind, caring and nice to collaborate with. I feel like my uncle has made a home and family there! So grateful for Lacy!

Orangeburg is a dedicated Memory Care Facility, far superior to a memory care unit "tacked on" to an assisted living facility. Its appointments are not as new or refined as some other facilities, but the caregiving and nursing staff far surpass the nursing protocols of a previous facility where my spouse resided. In my estimation, the care and careful nursing of patients is of far more importance then impressing the people paying for their loved one's care!

Orangeburg Memory Care has been wonderful for my 94 year old mother. It is bright and residents have many activities they can participate in. A special shout out to Jennifer Whitely, the Director. We needed paperwork from Kaiser to move Mom in and it was a nightmare trying to get anyone from Kaiser to help, despite doing everything they asked and calling dozens of times. Jennifer didn't give up and made it happen!!! I am very happy with the care she is receiving and highly recommend the facility.

I've been calling around to find out about Memory Care facilities for my grandpa. I called in to inquire about Orangeburg's Memory Care options and had a wonderful experience. The Sales Director, Jennifer, answered my call and was so patient and understanding with my situation. Truthfully, the price she gave was out of my family's budget, but given how helpful Jennifer and her team were and the number of resources she had available for me to consider, we are sad we can't go with them! The thought of my grandpa being here eases many of my worries and I've yet to have another facility be so helpful. Making a decision like this is super stressful and quality of care is what matters most. We hope we find something that works for us soon.

I cannot say enough good about Orangeburg Memory Care. Jennifer has been incredibly helpful, kind, supportive and a great guide through placing my mom. Orangeburg is clean, bright and warm. I loved when we first explored my mom living there, how the residents were happy and relaxed. Placing my mom was not an easy decision, both Jennifer and Lacey (my two contacts) have been so clear, professional and genuine in their roles to help me make this decision. They are both such wonderful individuals and I feel so fortunate my mom is safe, cared for and that I have the peace of mind that her needs are met with ease, patience and respect. I'm grateful beyond measure for Jennifer and Lacey, as well as the wonderful staff at Orangeburg.

I had my mom here. Their COVID rules were all over the board. One day it was this rule and the next day it was something else, I think it depended on who you spoke to. We put my mom on hospice after she had a horrible fall there that made her spiral downhill. Once she was on hospice I was able to visit and provide my mom comfort care which I appreciated, but also know they couldn't deny me that right to provide comfort care, I received legal Advice because at first they tried steering me away from visiting. I was able to visit and feed her once a day 4-5 days a week. It helped my mom to see me as she started to improve for awhile. Most of the care givers and med techs are great here. There was one that was always combative and rude. Uma, Jennifer and Joelle were the most professional employees I encountered. Their Director Marie is not compassionate or accommodating and very quick to assume things before understanding really what happened. She has a condescending tone that I didn't appreciate. My mom was in active transition for 3 days before she passed away and she didn't check in ONE time. My mom passed away 2 days ago and you would think the Director of the facility would call my dad to give condolences. She didn't. She lacks empathy and that's sad because she is managing the place. They are not trained well in "end of life protocol" and how to allow the resident to be in a peaceful environment and their staff could use some training on how to handle end of life. I felt from my personal experience this place only cares about the money. Knowing what I know now about how things are managed there, I would have encouraged my dad to put my mom somewhere else. They were always short staffed during the evening shift. They also started allowing family in to visit if they had the vaccine, but some of their staff doesn't have their vaccine so that's very hypocritical. If you are considering putting your LO here, be aware, ask questions and hold them accountable.

Staff are very nice even when I call and ask alot of questions in regards to my mom. They are respectful and patient. My mom is in good hands and for that I am very grateful.

My husband was a resident for over 4 years. He liked being by himself and they respected that and were very accommodating bringing his meals to him. Staff was very good and would help me to take him to medical Appointments. Edgar I believe he was maintenance and would help me with driving!! Very Clean !! I recommend it!!
