Golden Flower Manor is a beautiful facility located in Anaheim. My husband has been a resident for the last two years. He loves the food and all of the attention that they give everyone. I have been a resident here for about a year. Flor is a wonderful care provider. The food she prepares is wonderful and nutritious. Her Thanksgiving mean was truly delicious. She & her staff truly put the care in care providers. Flor has brought me out of diabetic coma when I first came here. I had previously been in a nursing home from hell. I trust Flor with my life. The facility is always clean and the back yard is very nice. My family trust Flor with me and I feel very safe here. This is the best place when anyone needs to consider an alternate life style and exceptional care for a loved one.

Golden Flower Manor was a home for my mother for about three years.This home was by far the very best. Flor was awesome. Her experience & knowledge proofed her RN degree.She always greeted us with smile. This is an exceptionally clean, well organized, comfortable facility. Our loved one was transferred to Flor’s facility from a facility in Orange which claimed to offer everything I will describe herein, but did not. Simply put, Flor offered far, far better quality of care than the previous facility. Flor and her excellent staff went above and beyond the call of duty for our loved one and the other residents in her care. She home cooks delicious and nutritious hot meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner and her portion sizes are generous (something the other facility did not do). She serves high quality snacks as well as soft drinks. Simply put, Flor does not skimp on food. She buys high quality name-brands. Anything her residents wish to eat, she bends over backwards to accommodate them. Again, something the other facility claimed to do but didn’t. At the former facility it was up to us to supply snacks and soft drinks and often times main meals so that our loved one would have nutritious food to eat. The former facility would serve the least expensive frozen nuggets, taquitos, etc. in order to save money. Again, something Flor never, ever did. Furthermore, Flor’s facility is always clean and smells so too. We enjoyed the other residents too and became quite attached to them. Her grounds are well kept and the backyard is a small oasis. She is a no-nonsense straight-forward individual who takes pride in her work. My only regret is that we didn’t know about her facility sooner. I wish I could give her 10 stars rather than the five as she and her staff deserve that high of a rating.

She was thorough and attentive; going above and beyond when the home health workers that were assigned to my mother through her HMO were dropping the ball. My brother was a resident of this facility until his recent passing.As such, I and other family members, have intimate knowledge of the facility, the administration and staff. The home is situated in a convenient location relative to major medical institutions in Orange County.The home is always very clean and orderly. The food is very good and prepared for each meal.There is a covered rear garden space for residents and guests.The home is well equipped for all medical conditions and situations.The administrator is on site 24 hours. The administrator, Florica Gheorghe, is a nurse and Hands On’ relative to all functions.She is very knowledgeable and caring for each resident. Moreover, she is very experienced with respect to all facets of residential care.I have visited many board and care facilities and give Golden Flower Manor the highest rating.

Flor is a very caring and tolerant person who went out or her way to care for my mom for the last four years of her life. Not only did Flor handle my mom’s demands (and there were a lot when she was in better health and as her health declined) with professionalism and care, she went out of her way to help my mom feel loved and cared for while staying at Golden Flower Mannor. Flor did an amazing job with my mother. Her care was over the top and her staff was very accommodating. The food was surprisingly very tasty and not bland like other homes (pretty much restaurant quality). It was very apparent that she actually cared for my mother and the other residents. Additionally, the facility was very neat and clean. A few times out of the week, events are held to keep the residdnts entertained. Overall an amazing experience and I highly recomment Golden Flower Manor.

Perhaps the toughest thing a family ever has to do is to place a loved one in a care facility. The choices are not so good, and the guilt can be insurmountable. We were very fortunate to have found Florica, a RN, and her home Golden Flower Manor in Anaheim, CA. We knew within minutes after a site visit and talking with Flor that we had found a good home for our Aunt Sylvia. The loving care and special attention given to Sylvia the past two years far exceeded our expectations. Flor maintains her home in a professional manner, and is fastidious in every aspect of the care she provides, and yet her home is "home." Flor treats everyone with dignity and loving care, and no one could ask for more for a loved one. Flor is an angel and we feel blessed to have found her.

We were at our wits end trying to find a special place for our aunt Clara. Clear Choice for Seniors recommended Golden Flower Manor in Anaheim. This is a private home, well maintained, and staffed with special people who care about people. Florica manages the home, her home, and resides there full-time as well. Her professional nursing background provided us with a comfort level that made the choice easy. Afterwards, when we visited we came to appreciate the love and attention Flor provided. Aunt Clara passed away recently, and we are certain she passed peacefully with comfort under Flor's care. Thank you Flor.
