The owner Cristian is a very caring and genuine Person and his staff reflexes that, my Father was suffering cancer and dementia he was in Pacifica being cared for at TLC. It was one of the few places I went when I felt they cared and knew me and my father personally. He was there for several months till hospital visit it was difficult to see him hospital his condition took a frightening nose dive I ended up ask Cristian if he could help with hospice he said no problem and best question I ever asked Cristian made sure he was never alone I wasn't there, when he past. Brought my bed ridden mother here for a month. She saw someone every two hours. She developed a bed sore in the middle of her back because she wasn't adjusted. She was delirious except when she she was expressing how bad she was treated here. Worked hard to bring her home, took time off work to be her full time. No televisions, nothing to occupy her time. Just a empty room and a lady coming by for food, changings her and pills. If you relative is able to get around, that's better, they have activities and exercise and television shows. If not, their left in their excretion til someone comes by.

Cristian is extremely caring with the residents and wants their time to be well-spent with activities and community. He is always available for a text and very responsive to any questions or concerns. Sometimes I felt like he must work 24/7 365 days/yr. Our Mom was there for just over one year and he always made her feel welcome and included - he is very versed in dementia care and made us feel confident she was getting great care. The residents are all very sweet and would try to include and engage our mom whenever possible. We were very grateful for Cristian and his staff.

Flora took especially good care, and provided extra care when she needed it. We ultimately had to move her to a facility in another city near other family members .

As a priest, who visits elderly care homes all over the Bay Area, I have seen the whole range of very poor homes to excellent ones. When the time came for my brother and I to place our elderly mother (95 years), who was suffering from advanced dementia, we were most fortunate to have found TLC Pacifica. Our mother's care was exemplary and genuinely compassionate. Christian is a truly unique individual, who made it a point to come by, nearly every day, to look in on Mom. Whenever we were visiting and he was around again, he would make it a point to visit with us, giving updates on Mom's condition and always being optimistic, without being unrealistic. We are deeply grateful to Christian and his staff for the care they gave Mom all the way until her passing. On a separate note, the cost of Mom's care at TLC Pacifica was quite reasonable - something difficult to find in the Bay Area today. Given the excellence of care, we believe that the money spent, could not have been spent better. May God bless Christian and his staff in their continuing good work aiding so many in need.

A True Blessing “ TLC Pacifica Elderly Care Cris and his team at TLC Pacifica Elderly Care are truly angels on earth. My mom had been in and out of the hospital for years for various reasons, and it wasn't until she was diagnosed with Lewy Body Parkinson’s Disease that we began to understand her condition. Unfortunately, her medical team struggled to provide the right support, and we came close to losing her several times. In addition to managing my mom’s health, my dad had been living with Parkinson’s for eight years, so balancing their care with my own children, full-time job, and everyday life was becoming overwhelming. How I Found TLC I came across TLC through a list provided by my parents' social worker. I remember knocking on Cris’ door, feeling desperate, and begging for help. Without hesitation, Cris welcomed me in, listened to my story, and immediately made me feel at ease. He shared his own experience caring for his grandparents, which inspired him to create TLC. It was clear from that moment that TLC was where my mom belonged. Shortly after our conversation, my mom became a resident. A Miracle of Improvement When my mom first arrived at TLC, she was bedridden during the day and rarely communicated. At night, she struggled with extreme hallucinations and paranoia, often staying up for hours, agitated and screaming. Cris believes that the key to successful care is alignment between the family, the care facility, and the medical team, and it quickly became clear that my mom wasn’t receiving the appropriate medical care. After several discussions, Cris and I decided it was time to switch her to a different provider. Almost immediately, we saw a change. Over the course of several months, my mom went from being isolated in her room, bedridden and non-communicative, to eating with other residents and eventually even standing and dancing! Her progress was nothing short of miraculous. Eventually, my dad joined her at TLC, and together, they received the best care possible. One caregiver who stood out above all others was Flore, whose compassion and dedication to my parents was like nothing I’ve ever witnessed. She treated them as if they were her own, and I will forever be grateful for her kindness and support. He has spent the past few years attending classes to become certified in neurodegenerative diseases and deepen his understanding of the conditions he helps manage. The people of TLC Are very caring and considerate caretakers of elderly patients that can no longer take care of themselves. I took care of my mother the last 13 years of her life.. during the last several years of that 13 year period- I placed my mom in TLCs Beautiful Facility ( because taking care of her became a full-time job, and I could not do this holding down a regular full-time job, and taking care of my immediate family). I referred to it as a beautiful facility when actually it’s a Beautiful Home , everyone is treated like a member of the family and there is Community & Friendship ever present™

Thanks to Cristian and his staff, my father with Lewy Body dementia and Parkinson’s, who passed away in January, was in the best care we could have wanted for him. A lot of other settings did not work for him, due to sleep struggles, wandering, delusions, and so forth, but Cristian and his staff were kind, caring, and comforting during his 8 months there. It was very special that he could transition to Hospice at TLC and live in the same beautiful, peaceful setting at the end of his life. Thank you for taking excellent care of my dad, TLC!

My aunt had a stroke in fall of 2018, losing both vision and memory. We moved her from Stockton to Pacifica to be closer to us, and I'm so glad we did. Not only did we get to visit much more frequently, we were lucky enough to have selected TLC Pacifica. My aunt always had a difficult personality, and over the years her dementia advanced, but Cristian and the staff from TLC didn't even blink at her outbursts. They welcomed her (and us) and continued to support her, developed outlets for her energy, and offered love. She was always clean and she LOVED the food prepared by the staff. Life at TLC was "normal" and family oriented. TLC is NOT a medical provider, but Cristian and the staff are very experienced and on numerous occasions given us a medical heads up--"Doris probably has a UTI", "Doris may have had a mini stroke", and so on. They were always right. Their approach to managing a houseful of high-risk residents during COVID was masterful. It was a relief to see how seriously they took it. She recently passed (spring 2024) and I am 100% convinced that she was in the right place for her these last 5 1/2 years. At every step, Cristian and the staff were doing everything they could to make her life better, and in doing so, also made my life infinitely better. You sleep a lot better when you know and trust that you're loved one is in great hands. I recommend TLC Pacifica unconditionally! Thank you Cristian and team!

I was so relieved to find TLC! It’s a perfect name for them. What my mom received while there, was indeed Tender Loving Care. They are so kind, with such patience and understanding. I was at ease knowing the kind of care I could expect from Christian and his staff. Dealing with someone with dementia takes a lot of explanation and redirection, with a calm demeanor. And they have that. The food was healthy with all the vitamins, yet tasty enough to want to eat it. (The nutritional value doesn’t really matter if they refuse to eat it.) Encouraging her to participate in activities and to keep her engaged. Feeding both her stomach and her mind. Knowing my Mom was being cared for in such a safe and inviting environment, took a lot of stress off of the family members. AND 24/7 too! They are the whole package. I will continually recommend them for anyone who asks.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about his place!!! Our mom had dementia and Chris helped educate us and navigate this whole new world. TLC Pacifica is very transparent. You can show up at any time unannounced and see your loved one and we could bring the grandchildren. That has to say a lot in itself. Also, Chris was available by text at any timeyou can just text and say How is my loved one?’ And he would text you back and let you know. He was very hands-on at at the facility. The staff adjusted to all of the changing needs of our mom. My mom was not the easiest person to deal with in the end, but the Christian and the staff took it in stride and thru it all treated her with respect and love. They had parties for birthdays and Christmas and one of my best memories of TLC Pacifica was meeting all the other families and residents at Christmas. Chris and the staff treated our mom like their own family. Nobody wants to loose their independent living and move out of their home, but if it happens this is the place you want to go to. I only hope Chris and TLC Pacifica will be in business when my brother and I need care

I don’t think I can fully articulate the gratitude I feel for Cristian and his staff. Unfortunately, my Mom was only with TLC for a few weeks as she was near the end of her life when she arrived. I am so grateful that she was there because I feel she receive the best possible care at TLC. The entire staff is compassionate, friendly, and loving. Cristian took the time to meet with us to try and get to know my Mom as well as possible. She was unable to communicate at this time so we needed to provide him with the details of her wants, needs, passions, etc. Once he found out she was an animal lover, he made arrangements for kittens to be brought to her room occasionally to brighten her spirits. It is this type of attention to the patient (above and beyond keeping her clean, fed, hydrated) that I am so appreciative of. While I hope that I won’t, if I ever am in need of a care facility again, TLC is the first and only place I will go.

Placing a loved one in someone’s care is a very difficult and frightening decision. However, I was fortunate to receive a referral to TLC-Pacifica where my mom could receive 24/7 care while she recovered from hip replacement surgery. The team at TLC are wonderful. They are patient, compassionate and engaging with their residents. Cristian, the Administrator, was sensitive to my anxiety and made a point to check in with me with updates while mom adjusted. I can’t say enough good things about TLC and I will forever be grateful for the care mom received during her stay.
