I had been researching memory care options due to the possibility of moving my mother from her current MC facility (out of state) to one in SA Seeing that Seasons MC received recognition for the last 5 consecutive years for the best staff to patient ratios in south Texas caught my attention, as staffing has been a constant challenge in my mother's current environment Another significant feature is the availability and use of safety devices appropriate for each resident I met directly with the owner (Mona) at several of her locations and found them all clean, airy, and bright All staff was friendly and knowledgeable, answering my many questions and concerns I was especially happy to learn how Seasons can supporta resident that experienced hospitalization, providing specialized nursing services that may allowa direct return to their home at Seasons, thereby avoiding an intermediate stay in a SNF or Rehab facility Having just experienced my mother require a transfer from hospital to rehab for a few weeks before returning "home" , this is very important to me I investigated many local MC facilities, but none (in my opinion) that offer better hands on care for their loved on

Wonderful, personalized care is provided to the residents in a small, homelike setting . The staffing ratio is better than any place I investigated. The activity director is phenomenal, actively engaged with the residents on a daily basis. The food is even good! I am so pleased that Seasons had a bed opening for my husband.

My sweet momma has been a resident at Season's Memory Care (Tezel location) for almost 4 years now! What a Blessing for our family. It's never an easy decision when deciding that your loved one needs 24 hour care and choosing a loving, caring and nurturing environment to call home is so important. We started moms journey at Season's during a world changing time (covid) and Mona was so very kind and informative and most importantly reassuring and still is today!! The team at Season's Tezel is awesome and Vanessa is available 24/7 always with the most caring and positive responses. Mom will be 100 years old in November God willing and we look forward to a Beautiful Celebration with friends and family with Season's!

We are so blessed to have found Season's for my mother to call home. The staff/caregivers are amazing and my mom is super comfortable there. Activities for the residents all the time! The staff texts updates which is so nice- they even add pictures of my mom with the activity/event that they are doing at the time! Seasons is always decorated and has a fresh clean smell every time I visit. I highly recommend Seasons on Old Tezel Road!

Have a friend at Seasons on Tezel. She has been there a few years. She can be difficult but the staff know how to handle her. They show her nothing but love and support. The staff is exceptional from the manager ( who we adore) all the way to the cook. It is like a big family and you can't help but fall in love with the patients.

My mom is a current resident at Seasons on Tezel Road. The facility is super clean and the staff takes great care of my mom. The activity director is outstanding and my mom LOVES her. They also have health care professionals, physical, occupational and speech therapists who come on sight to work with the residents and are outstanding. I am SO glad I found Seasons for my mom's care.

I have a loved one in this facility. I cannot express the wonderful care and attention they give them. Most places you are just a number. In this facility they make my loved one know they are there for them and that they are loved when family can't be there. If you are looking for the perfect place for a family member this is it. They are always available at all hours for questions and concerns about your loved one.

I moved my mother into Season's memory care after another memory care claimed she was problematic. At this facility, my mother is doing well. The staff knows what they are doing. They are professional and really care for the patients. Amanda, who is the building manager my mother is in, is phenomenal, professional and communicative. There is no debris inside the building or outside the property. All of the residents are neatly dressed, beds made, and rooms cleaned. My mother is well cared for here. This is how memory care facilities should operate.

i can't stress this enough, this is the best memory care ever. we have taken my grandmother to other facilities that didn't treat her well. this place however... the staff was exceptional and amazing. they did a phenomenal job taking care of her and you can see that they truly do care about their residents. they went above and beyond for our family and it will never be forgotten, thank you so much!!

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff at Seasons Alzheimers Memory Care Shavano Park for the personalized care , respect and love given to my mother during her stay. I am so pleased with the many ways they assist her in her daily life. The individual touches made keeping her safe and assisting with daily activities she is no longer capable to do for herself. The activity Director takes her role seriously as well. From leading daily exercise sessions, to art projects, bringing in outside entertainment, organizing games and hosting Happy Hours She goes above and beyond to keep the residence redirected from feeling alone and scared. She is engaging much beyond leading activities. She has a personal bond with each and every resident. To all the staff and the ownerTHANK YOU !

Using the services of A Place for Mom we were given referrals for many good care facilities in northwest San Antonio. Seasons was closest to our home and the first place my wife reviewed for her mother's end of life care. After meeting with Mona Talukdar, touring the facility and finding a private room was available my wife completed the residential agreement the same day. She found the facility clean and pleasantly decorated. The staff actively engaged with the residents, treating them respect. It was obvious the staff had to meet high standards of care which wasn't difficult since they all demonstrated a servant's heart. For us, it was important there were 2 hospice nurses on premises Monday to Friday and available for contact on weekends. If you need a secure facility for your loved on there are 3 key code locks to go through for entrance and exit. During a stressful time of trying to choose a care facility we highly recommend Seasons.

MY DAD GERALD PARKER SPENT A YEAR LIVING AT SEASONS MEMORY CARE ON OLD TEZEL ROAD. I CAN NOT EVEN EXPRESS HOW WONDERFUL HIS CARE WAS ALWAYS CLEAN WELL FED WITH HOMEMADE MEALS EXTRA SPECIAL CARE FOR ALL HIS PERSONAL NEEDS. MYSELF A NURSE OF 33 YEARS AM EXTREMILY HAPPY I CHOSE THIS SPECIAL PLACE FOR MY DAD. ALL THA STAFF AND MANAGEMENT ARE THE BEST AND I THANK YOU ALL FOR MAKING MY DAD FEEL SPECIAL..ALWAYS KEEPING ME INFORMED ABOUT HIS CONDITION .ALL OF YOU WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND CARING FOR HIM. What a wonderful facility! Our group volunteered at The Seasons on Old Tezel over the holiday seasons. Of all the places we have served this is by far the cleanest, most home-like and was well staffed, with beautiful furnishings and we were greeted by friendly and caring staff who clearly are doing God's work with senior citizens in the city of San Antonio. There are daily activities, games, bingo, walks in the garden and special holiday events and outings in the community. This place is a 5 star plus facility and should be the #1 choice for anyone who needs this type of facility.

This place makes me believe in miracles. Mona, the owner, is an angel. Her staff is wonderful and caring. Mia is another angel. She's so good with my mom. My mom was in one of those commercialized corporate memory care homes for a year. Wow. What a difference. This place is homey and welcoming and the staff actively engage with the patients. They have music time and outings, and you can usually find everyone gathered in the living room doing some kind of craft or activity or watching their favorite old shows. My mom is finally happy. Again. ANGELS!

The Seasons on Tezel is the very finest Alzheimer's / Dementia Care facility that I have ever experienced. My wife and I can not thank Mona Talukdar and her team of professionals enough for their compassion and professionalism. We were always kept in the loop about any treatment option and were kept up to date on any change either positive or negative. My Aunt died on March 28th after many years at The Seasons. Dementia / Alzheimer's is cruel and relentless but we are so thankful that Nancy was a resident at Seasons. Mona rescued Nancy after she had been abandoned by another facility at a hospital and then immediately called me to ask if she could care for her. Mona Talukdar is a gift to this world. Seasons Alzheimer's care and assisted living is a beautiful and cleanly facility. The staff is so nice and caring toward the resident. Seasons also has some great activities for the resident year round. I couldn't imagine a better place for your loved ones to stay and be cared for

Highest staff ratio I've seen anywhere. It was a very difficult decision to put my mother in assisted living, but everyone reassured me they would take care of her and they have. Staff (including the owner) is very sweet and often text me pictures of my mother.

My father has been at Season's for over two 1/2 years, and I can honestly say I wish I would have found them first. We went through two pretty bad experiences prior. I love the environment and the staff. It's like one big family, and coming from non makes it really nice. I often joke I want to move in, but it's not really a joke. The staff that doesn't come in with a good attitude don't last, and I love that, because it shows the level of care they expect. Mona the owner is someone I can talk to about any concerns along with any of the staff. I love that I don't have to worry about moving him again like some places require when they get really bad near the end, often into nursing homes, etc. My dad will be "home" where he feels comfortable for the rest of his days. When I'm having issues that don't even relate to the facility I know I can get great advice from the staff and it will be in the most loving way, and believe me, after two years that has happened often!! There's not much else I can say to anyone having to make one of the hardest decisions for a family member, which is putting the care of that said loved one in the care of some one else, but I can say that if you have to make that decision, give Season's a try, I know you won't be disappointed, and if you are it will be corrected quickly or the person causing it won't be there the next time you come. I've had so many "moments" with my dad that I would have missed had it not been for Seasons, ex. Having him sing "you are my sunshine" in my ear during music time....or having a nurse volunteer on her day off to take my dad to Denny's for his favorite "senior grand slam breakfast" for his birthday, and help us to take him out and return for a party. What other place do you know of that would go out of their way? One of the places he was at previously they were all lined up outside their rooms in wheel chairs, all day, sound fun and a life to you? NOT!! If you want your loved one to have what my dad has, Season's is the place that you can experience any level of interaction you decide. God bless you, and I hope you do what is right for your family, no matter what that decision that is.

My brother is in this facility and I can not begin to tell you how wonderful it is. He just turned 81 and they had a big Birthday party for him. The staff is excellent and my brother is so happy. They keep him so nice and clean, bed is always clean and the room always smells good. This is all the time I live out of town and they never know when I am coming in town to visit my brother. I just want to thank all the staff for being so kind and caring to my brothers. Could not have placed him in a better facility. God Blessed you all. Totally 5 stars !!!!!
