I have had patients in home health therapy in all of the Assisted Living facilities in town. Stoney Brook is, hands down, the best facility in town. If my parents ever need an ALF, I would only choose Stoney Brook for them. It is a family-like community with the best admin team. Very clean and beautiful and has the best activities.

My mom loves it here! The staff is friendly and courteous and the place is very clean. They have activities for the residents who wish to participate. They occasionally have live music in the common areas too! ‚

What a beautiful place for seniors to live! After leading a Bible Study there for almost six years, I can say that the residents are happy and contented. They may choose from a large variety of activities to keep their minds and body in shape. Staff is caring and attentive, and my occasional lunches have always been yummy! Often residents in my class will say they were sent to Stoney Brook "kickin' and screamin,'" but now they love it--their friends and the staff. NEVER heard anyone say they wished they didn't live there.

Stoney Brook has been such a blessing to our family. Our in-laws moved there after COVID hit. Despite the necessary restrictions, our folks have been treated with dignity and respect. The care they have received has been excellent, from the executive director, head nurse, marketing director, medical staff on the floor, and everyone in between. Furthermore, Stoney Brook staff has been quick to contact our family any time there has been an issue or question, without fail. This is such an important aspect of care, especially when the family members are all located out of town. During COVID restrictions, Stoney Brook staff has gone above and beyond to keep residents engaged and active, within the specified guidelines. We have learned that mental health care is indeed just as important as physical health care for our beloved elders. Stoney Brook puts in place policies that reflect the same concerns for overall well-being, while simultaneously making certain our loved ones are kept safe. We are so grateful to have found Stoney Brook, and appreciate all the kind attention and devotion shown to our folks. We highly recommend this facility!

My wife and I could not be happier that mom is now receiving the care she needs and deserves from a staff that is genuinely concerned about her happiness, safety and general well being. Stoney Brook absolutely went beyond the call of duty in helping us get her get moved in during the height of the Covid lockdown and went to extraordinary (almost super-human) lengths to help us navigate the entire process. The staff (especially Vanessa) never tires of being helpful. That was the huge breath of fresh air that made choosing Stoney Brook a no-brainer. It is mom's new home away from home and she loves it. If I ever need living assistance myself, Stoney Brook will be on the top of my list of places to consider for sure.

My mother moved into SB last week and has had the BEST experience ever! Everyone is absolutely wonderful here - the residents and the staff! I can't say enough nice things about each caring staff person - all my fears were relieved as soon as I heard my mother's voice on Day 2! At 96 and virtually blind, mother feels "well cared for" and her family feels so blessed!!

Stoney Brook is a beautiful community both inside and out! You are not only greeted by a warm caring face each time you enter, but the caregivers and directors genuinely love the residents! As a visitor to the community, I am always impressed with the care of the residents, the engagement of the residents in the activities provided and the staff; from the chefs to the housekeepers and of course, the caregivers each team member is friendly and courteous!

My mom has been at Stoney Brook for about one month. We could not be more pleased with her transition from her home. She is more active now with the many activities offered, has met a whole new group of friends and tells us she wishes she had made the decision a year ago. As a family we know she is cared for and in a safe environment. Facility is well kept, staff are all wonderful, and the helpful services are just what she needed. Our family is so appreciative of the Stoney Brook team. I visited several assisted living facilities in the area when planning to move my mother to Texas to be closer to me. Stoney Brook seemed to be a perfect fit. She has difficulties with her vision, and a floor plan that was easy to navigate and no elevators was a must. Despite her vision issues, Mom is still very active and needed a variety of activities. Weekly BINGO sealed the deal! She is so happy to have church on Sunday just down the hall, and has recently taken up painting for the first time in her life! She has made so many friends and has told me that she hopes to stay at Stoney Brook the rest of her days. I can't think of a better testimonial.
