I attended a resident event at Springvale Assisted Living and was blown away by the connection that the staff had with their residents- they knew every single name, their preferences, their styles- all of it. The event was SO FUN and so well attended by the residents that you could tell they truly enjoy being part of the community at Springvale. If you are searching for an assisted living facility or memory care facility for yourself or a loved one, I would highly recommend Springvale in Swartz Creek!

I have visited SpringVale many times. I am always impressed with the cleanliness, activities going on, and the smiles on the residents faces. I am so impressed with the care and compassion shown to each resident. I have been fortunate to attend many of the special events they have. I do not have a family member there as a resident, but would recommend this to any family or friends looking for a loving, caring place to reside.

I have performed for the residents at Springvale for a year. The residents are amazing but not only that the staff cares for the residents and loves them like their own . I love seeing them care for their residents. They are absolutely amazing. I highly recommend check Springvale out if you are in need of a home for your loved ones.

What a gorgeous and lively community! It felt comfortable and homey the moment I stepped in. All of the staff were incredibly welcoming, with smiling faces, and were eager to answer my questions or find someone who could help. The rooms are spacious, and I was pleasantly surprised to learn there are many sizes, options, and truly affordable accommodations. I couldn’t get over the beautiful views from every room I toured. What I fell in love with most was the activities calendar. There’s such a wonderful variety of engaging, well-thought-out activities for senior citizens ” they actually sounded fun and meaningful! Within just three minutes of walking in, I knew this was the place. It truly felt meant to be. I feel confident that my loved one is in safe, nurturing, and accommodating hands. I know they’ll always have something to do, new friends to meet, and I won’t have anything to worry about. Please take it from me: if you’re considering a retirement home, this should be at the very top of your list. It’s also conveniently located near everything I need, so visiting my family member will be easy and frequent.

When looking for a memory care facility to place my sister Sue, previously in assisted living, I visited 9 facilities in the Genesee county area. When I narrowed it down to 2, I re-visited both. I had the opportunity to meet with the director of wellness at Springvale. When I sat down with her and talked about my sister, she took a lot of notes as we discussed Sue. She was actually building a care plan. We reviewed the care plan down to the smallest details. I was so impressed I knew Springvale was where Sue needed to be. The culinary staff prepared meals that were diabetic friendly and gluten free. They also prepared them in a way that was easy for Sue to eat in her deteriorating condition. The staff encouraged her to eat and ensured that she did. This was a problem at her previous facility, and was never a problem at Springvale. The staff of caregivers at Springvale are some of the most caring, compassionate individuals I’ve ever met. I visited my sister most days so I interacted with the staff and watched them as they cared for the residents. The Springvale facility is bright and airy. The Memory Care has a secure courtyard that is open for residents and visitors to enjoy some fresh air or go for a walk. Overall, I feel my sister had the best possible care at the end of her life at Springvale and I would recommend it to anyone looking for assistance with their loved one.

This facility is really too notch. I have spent many hours visiting a loved one and the staff are always sweet and kind. The activities are fabulous! The only negative in all my visits are dinners that are served cold in the main dining room, gluten free rolls are rock hard, and meat that is too tough to chew and swallowso chef upgrades would be helpful. Again, the apartments are huge and spacious and light filled! Well done!!

One of the hardest realizations in life is when a loved one can no longer live by themselves. The idea of placing them in assisted living and restricting their freedoms add’s to the struggle. Springvale Asissted Living and the staff has eliminated all concerns. They are genuine in their love and care. The staff at Springvale Assisted Living exceeded our expectations. The facility is clean, has great food, exercise programs and organized activities for their residents. Our family feels so thankful to Springvale for all they do.

My father was one of the 1st residents after they opened this beautiful facility. We had no complaints while he was there for 18 months. His room(s) was BIG and looked out to the courtyard with his own little patio. I moved my husband here in later 2023 after almost 6 months at another facility (that was awful with patient care, especially with medications that they could never get right). Springvale was my 1st choice, but paying 100% out of pocket anywhere, I felt that as his health declined, we might have to move him since the cost is based on the level of care you need. Once his level of care was the same at both facilities, I couldn't wait to move him. The staff is so kind. When you walk in the front door, in my opinion, it's the prettiest facility. It does not resemble an old people's home nor does it smell like one. I'm so thankful my husband spent his last 6 weeks there before he passed away Sept. 2023.

My family member has been given excellent care and with so much kindness and love. The setting is calm and comfortable. The best thing is the staff. My family member and our whole family have been so welcomed. It gives me peace of mind knowing she is in such good hands. I will forget someone but I am so thankful for ALL the staff: Lori, Cassidy, Carly, Jean, Monica, Takisha, Elsie, Dee, Jolene, some names I don’t even know! the people who aren’t caregivers are also pleasant and helpful, the chefs, the maintenance man, housekeeper and Haley. My mother in law has been a resident at Springvale Assisted Living going on 2 years now. Lots of activities, staff and food treat her well. One staff member Cassidy Tyler, who is a Care Coordinator has been an exceptional person who stands out and has earned our praises. My wife and I wish to say Thank You to Cassidy for taking such great care of her.

My experience with Springvale has been exceptional. I am thankful for such a caring, knowledgeable staff to take care of my aging sister. She has memory issues and is not always the easiest person to deal with but Courtney has a special way of connecting with her and making her comfortable while meeting her needs. It’s nice to know how much their residents are cared for. Keep up the good work, Courtney and the entire Springvale staff!

My Dad is a resident in memory care at Springvale. Sue, the activities director, has been an absolute gem. She goes out of her way to get my Dad (and all the residents) involved. From day trips, daily activities, family events, and exercise programs, she really keeps them busy and interested with things catered to individual interests. Above and beyond her role as activities director, she works closely with all of the staff making sure everyone is getting the care they deserve and their needs met. Above and beyond is an understatement. Thank you Sue, for all that you do.

We are new to the community the building is clean and staff is friendly. I spoke with activity director who clearly has compassion for those she serves. She has had interesting and fun activities for the families to be involved in and she encourages daily involvement in any activities. This is definitely a five star establishment.
