As a healthcare provider, I was profoundly disturbed by the level of care my parents received at Randall Residence in Brighton. What I witnessed—especially during the final stages of their lives—was egregious and without human compassion. There were repeated failures in basic care, monitoring, and communication. Even after I raised concerns directly with staff, the problems continued. No family should have to watch their loved ones decline under such conditions. Because the deficiencies were so serious, I ultimately felt ethically obligated to file a formal report with the State of Michigan for review. This is not a step I take lightly as a healthcare professional. I strongly urge families to thoroughly evaluate all options before choosing this facility. My hope is that accountability and oversight will lead to meaningful changes so no other family experiences what we did.

Our parents have been residents of the Randall community since its opening in February of 2023. We could not be happier with their choice. The staff is wonderful. Whether it's scheduled activities, or one-off calls for support, the team is ready and shows up with the skills needed as well as a smile.

Our parents have lived at Randall Residence since it's opening and we are continuously impressed with the care they have received. All of the staff and caregivers have shown compassion, attentiveness and professionalism. They employ kind people who care about what they do and that really matters! They have loved our folks through the stages of their aging. Recently, helping us transition our Dad to the memory care unit after the passing of our dear Mom (who they seemed to grieve with us). We feel extremely lucky that they live in such a quality environment...since we think they deserve only the best!

I started at Randall Residence as a LPN on March 28th. The application process and interview went smoothly. Management and coworkers are wonderful. I am happy to be a part of this family. I have loved working here. I love the residents and management. I strongly recommend people apply here.

Randall Residence at Encore Village is a special place filled with heart, compassion, friendships, and unbelievable individualized care. Rhonda, Michelle & the entire staff are welcoming and super attentive to the resident's needs. So many wonderful amenities— it's like living in a close community which offers so much: meals, crafts, bingo, movies, salon, chapel, field trips, fitness center, and ice cream!! Join the many lovely residents and make new friends. Our Mother's care was the best!

There isn't enough space in this common section to express how wonderful Randall Residence is... from the staff to the decor, to the feeling of home. My mother moved from Texas back to Michigan after the passing of my dad. And she has come back to life. She's happy, engaging and expressing herself in ways we could've never imagined. She's made new friends and new memories. My thanks go out to everyone and I mean everyone at Randall Residence, that has made this possible. If you're even considering a place for a family member...search no more.

Randall Residence at Encore Village is the best assisted living facility in the area. We were so happy to finally have my Dad move in. Such a beautiful facility, from the way it's laid out to all the furnishings. But most important are all of the wonderful people who work there, starting with the executive director, Michelle; director of nursing, Jared; marketing director, Bobbi; concierge, Denise; activities director, Renee; nurses, med techs, housekeeping and kitchen staff. Everyone is always friendly, welcoming and caring. My Dad received the very best care from everyone. We highly recommend Randall Residence.

From the first day my mom moved in everyone made her feel welcome, just like family really. Everyone working there is fabulous and has that special something. My mom feels very blessed to be living here, making new friends and keeping busy. We keep saying that it's like an all inclusive resort!

Our family had to make the tough decision to move our mom into assisted living. We are so thankful we found Randall Residence. Mom loves it there and can't believe her blessings. It was an easy transition. From Bobby helping us with admissions to Lois in the dining room. Rene does a fabulous job keeping everyone busy with daily activities and encourages everyone to join in. Denise always has a smile and makes you feel welcomed. This is just to name a few of the awesome staff. The facility itself is beautiful. The rooms are homey. You can make them your own. Mom loved sooo we do too!

i'm a med tech at randall residence, i've been working here since this facility opened, the process to get into this facility was really smooth & easy, everyone is so friendly and the staff is so compassionate about all of the residents. it's a very nice place to work. i wouldn't recommend anywhere else.
