I love Oakmont at West Park! I toured it today with the activities Director, Innez, and she was very kind and proficient and explained in detail all the wonderful amenities and services I would get if I were a resident of Oakmont West Park. I do hope that in the future that is going to be my home.

Update to review: My cousin spent many years as a resident of Oakmont of Westpark and it was a great experience! The staff is so caring and really treat residents like beloved family. I like that Oakmont offers a broad continuum of amenities that are appropriate for residents who are more independent to those who need a high level of care. My family has always had a negative impression about assisted living facilities, and my cousin’s experience at Oakmont of Westpark changed our minds. If I could give 10 stars I would! I feel very good about the care my family member receives at Oakmont of Westpark. Everyone employed here is kind and helpful. I believe the staff here goes above and beyond for the residents.

Both of my parents have been living at Oakmont of West Park Roseville, California for three years. They started in the assisted living room and are now living in the traditions memory care room. My mother is deep into dementia, and my father is pretty much bedbound at this point with hospice support. I only mention this and that I have seen the full gambit of capabilities here at Oakmont of West Park Roseville.The building the grounds in the location are beautiful as is the inner courtyard. My experience from three years ago is that it has only improved with age over time. They truly get to know the residents and care about them. Currently, it's July 2026 and the management team, including Barbara the lead manager and assisted living manager Ghenet, who manages the traditions, memory care unit are awesome in their work and management of this establishment. Barbara has helped us navigate some serious challenges with my father who is now living in a stable safe environment. The memory care space takes a special type of employee who understands folks with dementia and other disabilities that keep them from living in the assisted living space. Hats off to Ghenet, who has done an excellent job in taking the memory care unit from operational to excellence. Ghenet really understands and cares for the folks, including her employees that seemed to flourish under her management. The holiday events, live music, and daily activities are also well orchestrated with weekly trips in there, large transport vehicle to the mall, restaurants and other scenic local hotspots.

Oakmont of Westpark has been everything that I hoped it would be, for my brother. I found it in February, 2026. My brother had no hope for anything having to do with assisted living, but he needed the help. He arrived to his new home in a wheelchair and a bad attitude. It is June, 2026 now, and he uses a walker instead of a wheelchair, and he has tranformed into a "social butterfly". He loves the staff, as well as (most of!) the residents. He never dreamed that assisted living could be this good. The facility is clean and beautiful, and it never smells bad. In the future, when I need more help, Oakmont Westpark is the first place I will go.

Words cannot adequately describe the depth of gratitude the Alexander children have for the staff at Oakmont of Westpark in their care of our mother, Jacklyn. We chose Oakkmont of Westpark for their ability to care for Mom and her specific health needs that could not be easily addressed at other facilities. The staff--from the care staff, to the nursing staff, to the dining room wait staff, to the front office staff, to the front desk staff, to the salon staff-- has been incredible. They know all of the residents by name. They go out of their way to make family feel welcome and comfortable. They ALL take great care of the residents. We would be remiss if we didn't specifically mention Jeanette Odiem for going above and beyond in our mother's final days. The love, compassion, and care she showed our mother will forever be remembered with much love and gratitude. We are so appreciative of allowing our family to be part of the Oakmont of Westpark family in our mother's final chapters. With gratitude.

Oakmont sponsored my uncle's softball game, they had an amazing spread of food, and their entire team was super accommodating to both family and players. We hope they continue this for future games!

So impressed with Oakmont Westpark. My 94 year old mother has been a resident for 6 months. The entire atmosphere is warm and kind. Staff is so amazing. The food is delicious and the dining room is beautiful. I used to feel afraid for my mom to leave her home and go to assisted living but not anymore. So many activities and genuinely kind staff. Amazing!

Mom lived at Oakmont for three years before she passed. Med techs, Jeanette and Ghenet , were outstanding and truly cared. LVNs, Lena and Lisa, were knowledgeable, committed and truly caring as well. I’m grateful mom had such lovely ladies to support and love her in her final years. All 4 were a Godsend for mom and her family as well. 5 stars would have been easy if the meals were more appetizing to the residents.

They have been so attentive to my grandmother's needs . She is very happy to be at a place with like minded people like her. She has really stepped out of her shell and participated in the endless activities and events they have. She tells me every time I visit her to come watch a game with her in the bar and longe they have. Very nice place and staff .

The staff at Oakmont of West Park helped me keep my mom safe and well cared for during the final years of her life and through the time of COVID. They showed how much they cared for her by their actions of constant, genuine compassion and helpfullness. She was lucky to be cared for by Jeanette and her team of nurses and attendants, who loved her like their own family. She made great friends there and was fortunate to make a new best friend as well. I couldn't have made a better choice for a safe and beautiful environment she could call her own. Thank you staff for all the hard and compassionate care you provide on a daily basis. You are so appreciated!

My father lived at Oakmont of Westpark for over a year and a half before he passed. Initially, he needed minimal assistance. As time went on, his needs increased. The care staff was amazing. They demonstrated such compassion and cared so much. My family and I never had to worry about his care. The dining room food was very good and the servers were so friendly and patient. My dad didn't really want to move to assisted living, but did because he knew he needed to. He often told us that he loved it at Westpark and would not want to be anywhere else. I highly recommend Oakmont of Westpark for your loved ones.

Was touring this building a while back when considering moving to Roseville with my Husband. We worked with Brooke, and even though we didn’t move in (ended up staying in Fresno to be closer to family) we were so impressed with this community, and the kindness and professionalism of the staff. Gorgeous community with great amenities. Nothing like this in the area. This community is a Diamond in the rough. Thank you Brooke and team for such warm hospitality.

Great turnover of help. Caregivers not supported by management, nor compensated well. Great facility if good staff stayed.

The workers are quite friendly, however the staff is over worked, and they are understaffed. The management team of Antonette Edwards and Lisa Velasco are non-responsive and basically worthless. When my mom would use her call device for help, it often times would take hours for a response. In August, one worker did not lock the wheelchair so when my mom stood up and grabbed the handle for support, the wheelchair spun and threw her and she hit her head. From there is was all down hill for my mom. In November of 2022, Lisa determined my my mom needed extra care which she did and then without notice, billed me in February for four months of extra care. My mom passed away on March 9 and her apartment was clear on March 16. Antonette and Lisa both ignore my emails for a final invoice and a credit since payments are due in advance. Please skip this place if you care about your loved ones, Lisa and Antonette appear to be on perpetual vacation.

To be perfectly honest, this particular Oakmont has experienced constant staff turnover, including staff management, since day one. The caregiving staff is wonderful and very caring about the welfare and health of the patients, but they are so short staffed that the residents are the ones that suffer, despite their family members believing that they are being fully cared for at all times. There are only 2 caregivers at times, covering over 20+ residents in memory care, with considerably more on the assisted-living side. Also, the few caregivers that they do have end up having to do certain jobs that should NOT even be a caregiver’s responsibility!! They end up having to do many of the residents room cleaning and more!!! What’s even more disturbing is that the higher ups’ are so concerned about filling the rooms and having a good reputation that they are even now incentivizing their staff, advising them to try and convince family members to submit 5.0 ratings on written reviews. I was mortified when I heard about this!!!! It may even be illegal!!! This particular facility needs to be investigated by the state, in my opinion!!

My mother has lived here for more than a year, and she is very happy with it. The building is new, and the interior decor is modern and stylish. The lobby and common areas feel like a nice hotel. My mother is very satisfied with the care she receives. The staff always act professionally, but there has been a fair amount of turnover. The residents are friendly with each other which creates a positive climate. There are persistent issues in the area of dining. The service and quality of food is inconsistent.

My Dad is currently at Oakmont in memory care. He was at another facility for several months and was declining rapidly. Since we moved him to Oakmont he has drastically improved and is so much happier. The staff there is incredibly caring and helpful. They take care of my Dad with love and compassion and it shows. The facilty speaks for itself when you see it but the staff is what makes it special.

Oakmont of Westpark is a wonderful community, I would highly suggest looking into this for a loved one or yourself. Their apartment homes are beautiful and offer a great amount of space! They have a beautiful courtyard, pet park and an amazing dining room! The staff here is very friendly and listened to all of my concerns during our tour. Great job Oakmont, this seems like a wonderful place to live! 🙂
