I can't say enough great things about Legacy! They take amazing care of their residents. Staff is super friendly and helpful. This is a great place to have your loved one live when they need extra help that staying at home cannot provide. As a family member of a resident at Legacy, I feel confident that he is being well taken care of.

My Mom has moved into the the memory care center at Legacy. Her room is very nice and the staff are attentive. They are doing a great job considering the serious issues that Mom is facing. When I visit at mealtimes the facility smells wonderful. I feel good about having Mom here.

I am posting this review for my dad, Les Walcott. He wanted to share our positive experience at Legends which is the memory care unit of Legacy. Below are his own words: My wife entered this care unit in January, 2020. She had been cared for at home by family members for many years before this date. Family members are well aware of the difficulties associated with caring for someone with Alzheimer's. My wife spent almost 4 years at Legends. Our experience there was very positive. She was well cared for by a very loving staff. These care-givers were well trained and carried out their duties with a kind and gentle touch. Our family spent a lot of time visiting at the Legends and never observed an unkind act. My wife was very comfortable with the staff, often demonstrating this with a smile or a touch. When my wife entered the end of life stage, the staff reached out to our entire family in a very special way, with extra care for my wife, and providing for the comfort of visiting family members. Overall, our experience would be higher than 5 stars +.

My mom is a resident at Legacy and we've been very happy with her care. I'm able to take my dog with me to visit, and my mom as well as many residents enjoy her company. The staff is kind and caring, and have been wonderful to deal with in every aspect. I can visit my mom at any time, and I really appreciate that as well as the excellent care she receives.

I go to Legacy as a outside service twice a week for years now. The patients are treated with dignity and kindness, they need something staff there within minutes. As a outsider treated with the same kindness. If I ever needed to place a family member it would be Legacy

Legacy Assisted Living Center is locally owned and operated, and this shows through in the wonderful environment and the care being provided by their caring and compassionate staff! I am in the building almost weekly and I have been very impressed with the level of care, dignity, and professionalism of the entire staff. If you have the need for an assisted living option for family or friends, I'd highly recommend taking a tour and checking out Legacy Assisted Living Center!

As a local pastor and retired Michigan State Police Post Commander, I have found Legacy to be a wonderful place that provides top shelf genuine care and evidence based deliverable outcomes. This has compelled me to highly recommend not only to my congregation but to the general public a wonderful place for your loved one to call home. After visiting people in the building for years, I have been very impressed with the level of care, dignity, and professionalism of the entire staff to care for each person and their individual care plans. I will be recommending Legacy Assisted Living Center to my own parents when the time comes.

During the covid 19 the staff at Legacy has done an outstanding job. This is not limited to the covid 19. but the staff are exceptional! Patty has done an outstanding job having a special occasion for all of the residents. We are extremely thankful.. Hats off to administration for making this happen.

My favorite mother-in-law has lived here for almost two years. We love it for her. The physical structure is warm, inviting and immaculate but elegant. Mom loves each meal. When we visit we always see residents enjoying a variety of activities. Most of all, the staff is incredible. Every woman and man we have met seems to enjoy their job and their patients. This is a huge improvement over Mom's last assisted living home. Thank you Legacy!

Phenomenal campus, all around. Fifty-six rooms for assisted-living and twenty-six rooms for memory care. Staff is all-around caring. Call lights are always answered promptly, less than two-minutes, delicious meals, activities everyday. Residents always have a smile on their face. Aide-to-resident ratio is perfect, including Charge Aide-to-resident ratio. All around great place to be!

The care and love shown to our loved one at Legends at Legacy Assisted Living was absolutely wonderful with the exception of one incident which was immediately dealt with and corrected with no further issues noted. The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable and we knew our dad was in the best place because we could see the love there. Thank you so much for the love and gentleness shown to our dad during the last 4 months of his life.

My mom moved to Legacy recently and she is very happy there. Having my mom here has been a great experience for both of us. Caring, Kind, Thoughtful, Competent, Informative are some of the words I use to describe the staff. Kim Loomis has been so helpful to us and so knowledgeable. She always makes time to answer my questions. Brittany also is so helpful as the first person you see when you enter. Everyone we have had contact with takes the time to answer questions, they call me with any information regard to changes in her medications or anything of concern. I looked at so many places and I am so thankful we made the choice to go with Legacy. I cannot say enough good things about everyone that works there. The building is so clean and so well cared for inside and out. Keep up the good work!!!

I would like to thank the medical assistants, CNAs, nurses, kitchen staff, maintenance staff, management and all others that were a part of the team that took care of my mom at Legacy Assisted Living. She came there in October 2017. The level of care, kindness, compassion and genuine concern was first class. When you have a loved one with failing health that is living there, you can have a peace in knowing they are being well cared for.
