I have researched many Assisted Living communities in the past year and have decided to guide my parents to consider Highgate as their future home. Corryn was so professional on the tour with my parents, made them feel relaxed and answered their questions with thoughtful confidence. When I spoke with Corryn after the tour she not only answered my difficult questions with extreme care and understanding, but also gave very concrete examples of how the difficult aspects of transitioning my loved one into Memory Care would be handled. The past Highgate has graciously invited me to many events to see and experience the community including participating in a staff training workshop on how to better understand and compassionately communicate with a person experiencing dementia. Twice while I was at the community a resident unsolicited walked by and stated how wonderful the community is. I have so much confidence in Highgate and appreciate that a community exists for all of wanting the best for our family and our future.

Highgate Senior Living in Temecula is where my mother has lived for the last six months. She is in memory care. Our family is so grateful for the wonderful loving care & attention given to Mom. She is happy and content with her medical & personal needs being met 24/7.The care givers are amazingly patient and kind. They ask her if she wants to participate in regular activities offered daily for dementia patients. They offer her the opportunity to attend special entertainment programs. She really enjoys attending music recitals. In my moms condition she appears to be asleep during much of the day. The cg still attempt to engage her. I really appreciate that. She often wakes up enough to say she wants to be included. Highgate also offers Dementia education & support classes to families. They are up on the current research. The staff of this facility has been such an answer to prayers for our family. We highly recommend them.

My father lives here. a year ago he went kicking and screaming. yesterday he returned HOME. He was in the hospital and rehab and was very happy to return to what he now calls his home. The staff go out of their way to make accommodations and I appreciate all their helo.

The facility has a variety of amenities, that makes this a desirable place for any senior. The rooms are spacious, clean, and there are many different size options to fit your budget and personal preferences. The common areas were well-maintained. Overall, Highgate Senior Living at Temecula is a great place for older adults to live comfortably and safely with the proper support and care they need to live as independently as possible. Great senior facility. There are lots of activities provided for the residents. This facility provides a theater, hair salon, and spa. If you are looking for a new residence for parents or grandparents you need to check them out.

My 81 year old dad has been living here almost a year and loves it . He has not complained once (he complains a lot ) and has made friends, plays cards and participates in activities. It has taken a huge burden off my shoulders.

This assisted living facility feels like home the minute you walk through the doors. The staff provide amazing care to their residents and you can see evidence of that in the happy faces of all the people who live there. Such a great assisted living and I love every chance I get to visit there.

My sister and I looked all over the area for a place for our Mother with Dementia/Alzheimer's. This place won hands down. The facility is clean and bright and the staff is kind and caring. Mother has done more activities in 3 weeks than she has done in the last 3 years. The change in her is miraculous. She is happy and very well cared for at Highgate.

My mother has dementia, and when dad died, she took a turn for the worse. She could not remember dad had passed, didn't know why she was living with me, scared and demanding. Everyone at highgate has been positive, helping her with her anxiety and keeping her calm. I visit her weekly at random times, and everyone is always professional and patient! Thank you all of you!

Dad is very happy with his living situation at Highgate. He enjoys the dining experience and loves to sit on his balcony and enjoy Temecula! This post was from over a year ago when life was more normal. Since that time much has changed for all of us and Highgate went through many changes with services. For several months the quality of the meals deteriorated. Finally, Kahlid Iraqui, Highgate Corporate Culinary Chef arrived just in time. He hired a new chef, Peter, who has been a wonderful addition and is in the process of getting the rest of the culinary improvements in place. Kahlid has been a very caring and sincere individual who definitely has the best interest of the residents. We are thankful for his direction towards the quality of food these residents deserve. 4/14/21 Well, since this review, things have changed again and things are not going well. We certainly hope and pray that culinary and other staffing issues are addressed soon for the sake of these precious residents. So very sad since things seemed to be heading in the right direction.

My parents moved here a couple of weeks ago and I have nothing but good things to share. From touring Highgate with Karie and Corrine - who were such positive spirits, to the quality of the surroundings and the incredible welcome they received...it has been nothing but positive. The spaces are gracious and well appointed and the flexibility the staff have shown in order to accommodate our needs has been nothing short of incredible. My husband and I were welcomed on our recent visit which really helped my parents adjust. But mainly it is the quality of the staff. I feel like, so many of the staff we have interacted with, truly enjoy what they do and helping our elderly have quality care and a loving environment. When we said goodbye to them the other day...my mom had a tear run down her cheek. The lovely gal who was waiting on them for breakfast noticed this...she hugged my mom and kissed her head and said "we've got you". or something to that affect. My husband and I almost cried...she showed such compassion in our moment of need. The first day at Highgate they had a welcoming entourage that came to their room...Corrine brought my dad mini champagne bottles so he could have a Mimosa - remembering that when we were touring Highgate and joined in for Happy Hour - that this was what he ordered! Wow...talk about paying attention to a silly little detail. They also brought a gorgeous arrangement to the room (my mom left behind her beautiful garden at their house) she so appreciated the flowers. All I can say to Kathleen (the director of Highgate)...please keep hiring quality people and train them well - you have done an amazing job in surrounding your residents with quality care and I hope each and everyone of them realizes what a tough decision it can be - to make the move to assisted living ... this has been nothing but positive. My parents love it!

My mother is a resident in the Memory Care Cottage at Highgate Senior Living. I scoured the Temecula/Murrieta area for the appropriate lodging place and as my last stop, I entered the doors of Highgate. I was greeted warmly and lovingly, even sympathetically because of my mom's worsening dementia. A tour opened the gateway of friendliness and professionalism. I felt at home and also a sense of wellbeing knowing that residents with dementia were not only understood but well cared for in individualistic ways pertaining to each person. Care Partners took the time to hear about Mom's past, understanding her family and desires. Management, Care Partners and staff work seamlessly together creating an atmosphere that breeds fun, laughter, genuine warmth, healthy foods, seasonal events and daily activities. With COVID-19 restrictions, Highgate staff made a stressful move of our mother into Memory Care such a pleasant experience. We dropped furniture, boxes, clothes, etc. at a specified location. A team met us and sanitized everything before moving it to her room. As we were not permitted into the building (COVID-19 restrictions), Highgate staff moved all furniture in, mounted the TV on the wall and set it up, unpacked all her belongings, hung curtains and pictures on the wall and made her bed. This was all done within a 2-hour window. Staff even came in or their holiday to accomplish this move (4th of July weekend). They were wonderful. Our experience with the Executive Director, Healthcare Director, Caregiver Coordinator and Maintenance Director has also been great. We were guided through the process and kept in the loop every step of the way. Our mother is now enjoying a safe and caring environment at Highgate Temecula.

I am happy to have my father at Highgate during these chaotic times. Although I cannot visit him personally, the hardworking staff has accommodated our family with weekly FaceTime and Zoom calls. He always appears clean, groomed, and happy.

We are so grateful for the care Highgate has provided for my Mother. Her quality of life has improved due to the social interaction and activities she has available to her. Highgate Senior Living is wonderful! The cohesive team of like-minded staff of all positions is marvelous. This is a warm and loving place for everyone to call home. Highgate is beautifully decorated an immaculately clean. The cheerful chefs create delicious well-balanced and nutitious meals. They cater to personal requests, too. There are so many daily activities, music, games, sewing, quilting, The Man Cave is complete with billiards, shuffleboard, Connect Four, computers, theater and outings. The Care Partners are sincerely very kind, nurturing, compassionate, cheerful and skilled in the care of the residents. They encourage participation in activities so newcomers can meet new friends. In this first month of Mom living here, we have come to the most wonderful conclusion, this is the best home for Mom. Thank you to every staff member for making us feel confident Mom is gently well-cared for and safe. We are grateful. We highly recommend Highgate and are thankful to our friends who recommended it to us due to their experiences with their own parents.

Love the facility and the staff, they have always been quite courteous and responsive to my Aunt's needs. The facility itself is new, and represents the newest ideas and up to date features of assisted living and memory care in my opinion. The facility itself takes advantage of new technology, ranging from cable TV, electronic communication with residents, to dual pane windows, solid core doors and extra insulation between walls and floors. The reason I know this, is because my Aunt came from another facility in Temecula. From the Highgatge ground breaking a couple years ago, I realized this would be a better place for her to live, I visited the site during the construction phase a few times. Very impressed. I would recommend Highgate Senior Living of Temecula.

My husband is in Memory care at Highgate. I am so grateful for the quality care he is receiving and support they offer me. The staff is amazing! well trained, loving and truly care for the residents as well as the families. One day my husband was agitated, not from them but his ALZ. I suggested medication. They suggested a holistic approach. They gave him a spa bath, essential oils, soft music and shoulder massage. He was so relaxed, my only complaint is they did not offer the same to me.

My parents were the first to move in to this beautiful new community and it has been everything we hoped for! The staff was very helpful on moving day to ensure a smooth transition and my parents are pleased with their lovely new apartment. The amenities are fabulous here, including wonderful meals in the restaurant, and the staff are friendly and caring. Thank you to Kathleen and the entire team for all you do!
