Dad needed more help than we could give him at home, and the team at Grandhaven made the move feel manageable. The nursing staff pays attention and kept us in the loop through the whole adjustment. It is a relief knowing he is somewhere people actually notice him.

Toured a handful of communities for my father and Grandhaven was the one where the staff sat down and actually listened. He has been there since early spring and the lift in his mood is obvious. He calls to tell me about his day now instead of me having to pull it out of him.

I’ve been at GrandHaven a couple years now. I find the Facility is clean and well kept both inside and out . The staff is caring and knowledgeable , and attentive to the Residents needs . I’ve seen a variety of events put on that include carnivals, parties , in house, week long events that explore different cultures and cuisines from around the World. The food is excellent here and served with attention to dietary needs and individual taste. It’s a very special place that takes pride in the service that is provided.

We have found the staff to be professional, responsive, kind and courteous with few exceptions. My Mom has found the food to be much better than she expected over the 3 months she has been a resident. The apartments are properly sized and bright.

I was very impressed with all that the Grandhaven memory care facility has to offer, especially the lovely rooms with a large sunny window and window seat, caring staff, beautiful grounds with a sidewalk path, and their unique 'neighborhood' concept of the resident's apartments. Most of all, their 'community advisor' and dementia specialist, Olivia, was extremely knowledgeable, kind, accommodating, and genuinely interested in helping me make the best decision for my mother. I would highly recommend that anyone searching for a quality memory care facility, consider Grandhaven.

The staff are very young and inexperienced. But they listen and are willing to learn- that has made all the difference in the past few weeks. Most of them are very hard workers and with the kind hearts I have seen, I am happy my mom is there.

Me and my family visited Grandhaven. Olivia showed us all options that could work for our mom & dad. She answered all our questions and concerns of care. She went over and above. She stayed late on a Friday night to show us some other possibilities. She made herself available for questions and any thing else we needed. I recommend you take a long look at all the things Grandhaven Offer’s and ask Olivia any questions or concerns you might have.

My mother has been residing at Grand Haven Living Center for nearly a year. Despite necessary restrictions due to Covid, I feel she has received quality care. Staff are friendly and caring and available to address any questions or concerns that I may have.I would recommend Grand Haven to anyone who is looking for a safe environment for a loved one.

They had first round of covid vaccines done in house, then say you gotta go out and get the second one. Very expensive and if you apply for assistance for extra cash and are approved they wanna raise your rent and basically take everything you got. Night staff is also lacking in responsibility...

My 97 year old father lives in Assisted Living in Grandhaven - he receives the best care of any place he has lived. The meal choices are varied & tasty, the staff is considerate & mindful of each person's preferences & needs. You couldn't make a better choice than Grandhaven for your loved one.
