This community is exceptional. It is very well maintained and their dining room prepares better meals than you might think. But most importantly is ran by people whom are genuine and care for the residents they are serving. I've visited many senior living communities around the country over the past 15 years. My dad has no idea how lucky he is to be living here. But I do, and am grateful knowing he's in good hands.

The facility is beautiful, clean and the staff are kind and compassionate. They know the residents and foster a positive environment for everyone including families. Mom and Dad decided to continue living at home. Personally, I would enjoy living at Cedarhurst.

Cedarhurst of Dyer has helped to make a home for my mother in-law who is 100 years old. She loves it there. Yes it takes a little time for her to adjust from her home to a new one, but she loves it and said I love my place. There is always activity going on and she is now always smiling. I know I can sleep because I know that she is taken care of anytime of the day or night.

My love one has been at Cederhurst of Dyer Assistant Living for one year now. It was a hard but the decision had to be made. When you reach a certain age, health declines and medical attention is necessary, family do more harm then help when taking on responsibility that they aren't equiped to handle. After visiting and spending time at over 20 assistant living places, Cedarhurst ranged number 1 on my list. I spent a number of days just hanging out there, having lunch so much that some of the residence asked me to sit at there table and dine with them. I'd smile and tell them I wasn't moving in, I was looking for a place for my elderly love one. I felt like I would happy to live there and feel safe and comfortable. The staff are fantastic they every residence my name as well as their family members are. They are transparent about what occurs, they're warm, friendly, caring and are available to help anyway they can.

I have been working for Cedarhurst of Dyer since January 2023 , I have worked alongside some great CNA's QMAs and Nurses here at Cedarhurst. This facility is by far the BEST facility I have ever worked for all the staff, including myself truly care about our residents and we try to go above and beyond providing the best care to our residents, provide dignity and support and we support all of our families and we are very involved in activities with residents and family I find our staff very experienced. I cannot recommend a better place to bring your loved ones and also a better place to work for we are fantastic! The facility is clean and very well-maintained. Perfect place for your loved ones needing additional care. I watched us truly make a difference in many peoples lives and I know Cedarhurst will continue to grow and only get better from here ! #CedarhurstOfDy

Cedarhurst has been incredible. The entire staff is very attentive and they take great care of the residents. There are numerous activities which really helps residents from becoming bored. My aunt is in Memory Care and uncle is in Assisted Living. Both are very happy.

As a outside nurse that works for an agency I frequent this facility to provide skilled nursing care. This by far is the best assisted living facility that I go to. The nursing and caregiving staff are top knotch and very responsive to any issues with the residents.

Never send a relative here. There have been many times my father did not receive his meds at the correct time. His apartment is filthy. But most importantly I recently found medication on the hallway floor. This is not ok, anyone could pick that up who lives there and put it in their mouth, but also that resident did not receive the meds they should have taken. Employee return over rate is a problem. There are holes in staffing. It takes a long time to get to know all the residents and their needs and they don't have time for that. There is one very sweet front desk person, Bailey. I don't believe she is there anymore. After a few months the director contacted me in order to better understand what they can do to help my father, I appreciate it a lot.

They did a fantatic job in my case my because my loved one was transported from the hospital to the facility. They didn't really see the place before hand. It was stressful for me the first day because my loved one got mad at me and began saying hurtful things. The Director and Assistant Director of Nursing came and helped to calm us down and helped my loved one feel better about the decision I had to make. Then the Director asked if there was anything they could do for me. I was speechless because they were concerned about me too. I mean real concern.

I feel we have a great team! The Executive Director is very approachable, and my Director for activities loves the residents and it shows. She is wonderful at engaging the residents and planning outings and activities. It is a great place for your family members to be, they are treated with dignity and respect as they should be.

My great grandmother has been here almost a year. The staff is great always answers all my questions and answers any concerns that I may have. All my expectations has been meet very clean and well kept facility. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a safe place for a family member this is the place.

I've had a family member here from the beginning and there has been so many issues. They can't keep staff or leadership, they order pizza for dinner because they have no one to cook, and there have been many stolen things from my family members room (ring, cash, gift cards). I've called directors, I've sat in the apartment waiting for them to come for hours after I've requested a meeting....nothing. So, besides a pretty building it hasn't been a great experience. Edited to add: it's been 2 weeks and I still have not been contacted by anyone in leadership and have continued to have absolutely awful experiences here. Do your family members a favor and do NOT have them move in here.

This is a beautiful facility and it has had its fair share of staff shortages just like the rest of the nation but the staff is improving! Slowly but surely new hires are being brought in to care for the residents of this community.
