I had to place my mother in an assisted living facility which is something no son ever wants to do. Luckily I found Brockford Inn, tucked away in granite falls North carolina. The staff there is totally incredible! From the owner on down that facility is run like a finely tuned machine. I visited my mom today, and walking to her room I passed the events calendar. I could not believe how many events they have and how active they keep the residents. It is totally incredible! I feel like my mother is in great hands and care and love. And the cost is easily $1,000 less than any other place that I've looked at.

I work here now, this is a wonderful and pleasant place for our patients to live, there is absolutely no way anyone would be mistreated or neglected here, we come in to work every single day loving them as family, because they are family, we spend more time with them than our biological families

Let me just say I worked here in the past but no longer work there but most these comments aren't true the lack of this facility comes from the lack of heart of people that actually apply for the jobs don't get me wrong there are some amazing ppl both employees and residents but just to save us all the trouble the way to fix this problem is if you truly don't have the heart and genuinely care and wanna be here for these residents then look for some other kind of work for one bc they don't need a half ass CNA but for two who actually goes to a job and keeps it for a long period of you don't truly enjoy it. If your nurses heart is in the right place well there shouldn't be any doubt because she shows it in the way she treats those around her. I absolutely loved my job as a CNA and loved the girls I worked with but come on the pay...??? Idk even tho my heart is in it would I rather make min wage and work fast food or work here for the same but twice the work it's tough work both physically and mentally these ppl become family but also you are required to pay for pricey classes and test to keep job that you love just kinda seems like if I'm willing to care for your family member like I do I thinks my better choice is to work fast food right? I like to work to live my life but I'm not going to work my life and not liv
