My wife was here for respite care for a few weeks and the care she received was excellent. The staff is super nice. Her room was private and exceptionally clean as was the entire building. There are activities to do, and the food was incredibly good. I highly recommend you consider Azura memory care Foxpoint.

My family has received such great benefit from the TIME program. Specifically Marie Schulist has been so amazing with my father. Thank you all!

Dementia and cognitive health impairments will affect each of us, whether through our own experiences, those of a family member, friend, or within our communities. Five years ago, I became deeply involved in this field after witnessing the impact of cognitive decline on someone close to me. Since then, my passion for this field has only grown, inspired by role models like Marie Schulist at Azura Memory Care and her remarkable TIME program for preventative cognitive health treatment. As I learned of the limitations in cognitive healthcare, I became even more determined to make a difference. One year ago, I founded a cognitive health initiative within a local memory care, similar to the one I help with in my hometown. Current research indicates that cognitive exercise, such as memory games, math, reading, puzzles, and more, is incredibly effective at maintaining (and hopefully even increasing) the cognitive health of those at risk, already affected, or even not experiencing cognitive decline. I lead this weekly program, designing a mix of activities to challenge various cognitive functions, promote mental agility, and encourage social interaction. Through collaboration with activities coordinators, staff, volunteers, and, most importantly, the participants themselves, I've witnessed firsthand the positive effects these exercises can have. It's been incredibly rewarding to see participants engage, smile, and connect through these activities, fostering a sense of community and purpose. This journey has deepened my understanding of the impact that personalized cognitive health programs can have on individuals' lives. As I move forward, I am more committed than ever to expanding these efforts, continuing to advocate for innovative and inclusive approaches to cognitive health. I believe that with dedication and the right resources, we can improve the quality of life for those affected by cognitive impairments and create a more supportive environment for everyone involved. I look forward to continuing this work in the upcoming year!

I had the pleasure of working at Azura Memory Care of Fox Point for the last year and a half. During this time, I have experienced nothing but absolute joy. The facility has a family-like atmosphere that enables it to run like a well-oiled machine. Each team member works hard to do their part and ensure that the residents are happy, safe, and secure. Jill and Chris do an amazing job with the tour process, ensuring that you and your loved ones are well taken care of and settled in. Carriessa and Irina, the House Managers, manage the care teams exceptionally well, making sure that while your loved one is at Azura, they are receiving the best possible care. I have never seen a better team of nurses; they are always on top of things. The activities team is absolutely amazing, consistently providing engaging and enjoyable activities for the residents. There is no better place in the area to trust with the care of your loved one. This community is truly beyond 5 stars.

I've never seen more caring staff. They are so kind and fill our daughter's day with activities. Her medical care is monitored, and we are so relieved to have her in an environment so totally supportive.

My grandmother recently moved in and my family has had a tough time dealing with the Assistant Director Shelly and her sidekick Donna the RN. We all really like Jill the President of Azura and the staff that does all of the work seem to care about my Grandmother - with the exception of the employee that was arrested for stealing from a resident last week. My Grandmother says the food is disgusting - I have to agree, I think the chef thinks people with memory loss forgot what good food tastes like... trust me they haven't, the two meals I ate with my Grandmother the people at her table covered their mounds of wet dog food with their napkins. There are all levels of memory loss and Azura commingles all the residents by allowing everyone to have access to all pods and living spaces. Unfortunately this means that some of the more affected residents wander and occasionally enter my grandmothers room (uninvited) and help themselves to her snacks, pens, drinks and even her toilet paper (my mom buys her charmin because the toilet paper they provide is horrible). It's super expensive to privately pay for a loved one to be there, I'm not sure my family is getting the care and benefits that were promised or justify the monthly fee. For nearly 10k a month you can live in a million dollar house or a half million dollar house with enough cash left over to pay for staff to maintain the inside and outside of the house. Not sure there is a great space for memory loss seniors but for the money Azura should improve the food, housekeeping and leadership or people will find a place for their loved ones that is committed to exceeding the expectations of the families that have to make the tough decision to place a loved one in a facility.

Jill, Chris , Donna and Care Team: We so appreciated everything they did to make my Mother's transition to Memory Care as smooth as possible. They were a wonderful resource and terrific hand-holders during this stressful time! Their willingness to help where ever needed was a blessing. The facility is beautiful and we are confident she is safe and well cared for. Our THANKS to all!! Susie, Phil and Family

There is no way to thank the owners and the incredible staff for my peace of mind, nor the true love and concern they have shown for both me and my husband. I truly feel that we are all family working together for the good of all the residents and their families. I feel that I have needed as much emotional support as my husband, and the staff has always been there for me. Their philosophy, of how dementia resident are best treated, is actually practiced throughout the facility. When you see smiling faces, you are witnessing well taken care of people and staff who know how much they are valued and appreciated. I know that I made the right choice and I am very grateful to you all.

Thank you to the Fox Point caregivers, nursing staff and dementia specialists for the care and love shared with my dad during his time at Azura. The "house" structure makes it feel more like a home, especially important during these stressful transitions for the resident and family. The staff also communicated well and heard me when needing to review care. The Dreams program was so special - a life long Cubs fan, Azura helped us celebrate that on Father's Day. Nothing is perfect and each resident has a unique situations, but I am so glad my dad was comfortable and safe during his time at Azura.

Jill is amazing at Azura. Generally cars for patient and family.

We Love Azura @ Fox Point! Both the Azura philosophy and physical structure has a research based foundation. An example is having the "Household Model" - which has 4 Households to make it seem less institutionalized , and more like a home setting. We moved our Uncle to Azura after he had been moved 4 different times in shared room settings at his last Memory Care setting. At Azura FoxPoint - all residents have their own private room, which simply allows each person to have their own space and sense of dignity. One of the strengths of Azura is their wonderful engagement with the residents-whether with in-house activities, local excursions, or the availability of the Sagely App to see what the residents are doing. The many pictures of my Uncle smiling with activities and staff, clearly show he is happy to be at Azura Fox Point!

Azura of Fox Point has supported my Mom and our family through our Dementia Journey. I am truly thankful for the support, the environment, and the caring they provided for my Mother and our family. The Facility is a well planned community, and the employees were always there when you needed someone or something.
January 2024
My experience at Azura has been wonderful. There is so much love, kindness, help and understanding from all of the staff. The activities programs are excellent. The rooms are lovely. It truly has been a very positive experience for my wife and myself. I am very thankful that my wife is living at Azura.

Great staff! Super friendly and helpful.

Azura is a family. They put so might time, research, care, and love into every detail. I would recommend Azura (especially Fox Point) to any family, friend or acquaintance. The team was extremely welcoming and genuinely caring for each of our residents.
September 2023
My client has been attending this Memory Class for about 5 months now; not only does she look forward to going to class every week, she also states she feels like this class is helping with her short-term memory. I would recommend for anyone in the early stages of Dementia or Memory Loss!
September 2023
Great place. Spotlessly clean. Great programming for my Mom. Great extras available like PT, nail trimming, hair salon and more. Safe environment and great staff.
July 2023
A difficult decision to send your husband into a care facility. However, the care and compassion he received there calmed my fears. The care model at Azura is unlike any of my previous nursing home experiences. It truly is a "home" where the team treats the residents like family. I highly recommend coming for a visit. The promises on the website are real and maybe even undersell the quality of living and care.
July 2023
My husband is in the Time program 3 days a week. He enjoys the socialization and friendships with others in the group. He especially loves Marie the instructor! I have noticed that on days he is home he is bored and unable to find things to keep him busy so the 3 days are very helpful. The program is helping challenge my husband's brain and is giving me some much needed time to take better care of myself.
June 2023
This is a wonderful, inviting place. The program my husband is in, is stimulating and the director Marie is awesome. I feel fortunate we found this place. He spends time at Azura in a program where it is not only a leaning environment but has fun
May 2023
AZURA provided the ideal situation for my wife, Judy, and our entire family. The relatively new complex is safe and secure. Judy's room was nicely appointed with a view of the patio. The facility wide floorplate provides the residents with multiple places to visit from the library to the outside patio (weather permitting) to the hair dresser to a living room with TV and even a fitness center. Fitness is so critical for health maintenance. The underground parking was important as it provided a safe, warm and secure way to leave the building with Judy for lunch or possibly a musical matinee. The best part of AZURA was the staff. They are genuinely interested in the residents; and, worked carefully to plan multiple activities and events to keep people as active and alert as possible. Nothing can be perfect but AZURA works hard with that objective in mind.
March 2023
We were so happy we found Azura for my mother. The staff were exceptional--the caregivers, the nurses, the director, even the maintenance man did everything they could to make my mother comfortable and feel welcome. We couldn't have asked for better and would highly recommend Azura for anyone looking for a caring place for their relative.
January 2023
The director is amazing, the facility is beautiful but they could use some good new caregivers to add to the staff.
November 2022
We have had a very positive experience with Azura in Fox Point. We toured a number of facilities before choosing to move our loved one there. From the first interaction, staff were sincere, committed, and generally very instinctively aware and attentive to the needs of the residents as they go about their business. Once a resident, they really get to know the needs, preferences, and routines of each resident, and are very respectful of them. There are plenty of activities to keep residents engaged. They also have a variety of support and engagement channels for the families of residents. The facility itself is still relatively new, and it's clean, stylish and well maintained. We have also been REALLY happy with the therapy services (physical, occupational, and speech) that service Azura. They are fantastic. The decision to place a loved one in care is never easy, and often there is a small window to act. We found Azura very responsive and helpful in making this decision/transition as smooth as possible.
July 2022
Hands down a wonderful place to care for our loved ones when they need it most. Best practice. Highly and properly trained staff. Fantastic communication. 10 stars
July 2022
I chose Azura Fox Point for my 92-year-old aunt with dementia, and she's been very happy there. She's busy with activities all day long, has made wonderful friends, and is being well taken care of by the caring Azura team. We love that it's located in a residential neighborhood, close to restaurants and shopping, and that the grounds are beautiful.

The Azura Fox Point community is beautiful with a comfortable and intuitive layout for Memory Care. The leadership is dedicated to ensuring that the residents wellbeing and highest level of independence is the number one priority. I highly recommend touring this community to see for yourself!

So glad that Azura opened when it did. We were looking for an assisted living community for mom where she would be engaged in activity and well cared for. We are so pleased the new place was built just in time and includes such individual care. Love many aspects, but during COVID, so glad they found a safe way for us to visit frequently. Mom is happy and thriving in a community of friends.

When the time comes for one to choose a new living situation for those that they love it is not easy. It makes you reflect on everything-past, present and future. Azura Fox Point has absolutely made this transition as smooth as can be expected for our mom. While it is still difficult, I can honestly say that we rest easy knowing she is safe, secure and well-loved. The staff does their very best to keep the residents active and engaged, stimulated and well fed! 🙂 Both on campus and off campus activities allow those with different abilities to stay busy. The different homes are so warm and inviting that our mother feels comfortable enough to spread her pictures throughout her house as if it was her very own living room. I cannot tell you how much joy we feel when we walk by and photos of family are proudly displayed for all! Although this is not the future we envisioned for our family we are extremely happy with Azura Fox Point and would highly recommend them to any family on a similar journey.
April 2022
Azura Fox Point is a WONDERFUL memory care facility. The physical home is beautiful, yes, but what's even better is the caring team that they have inside! They have chefs preparing the meals, multiple activities throughout the day, and an excellent care/support team. I was here on Friday and the residents were outside with water guns/water balloons before their happy hour 🙂
March 2022
Azura is an amazing community that truly makes one feel at home. They are many great amenities and opportunities for my grandma to thrive there. The staff is so supportive and kind. They are always there to help and I know that my grandma is in good hands at all times. Her days are full of eating great meals, participating in fun activities, and cultivating new friendships with the other residents. I'd highly recommend this community for your loved ones.
December 2021
When faced with the difficult decision to put my loved one into care due to his rapidly progressing Frontal temporal dementia, it was the staff at Azura that was an answer to my prayers. At only 58 years old, he was not the typical "dementia" resident. He was challenging, everyday. The entire team at Azura helped in his care and made a conscious effort to give him the best quality of life possible. The facility is beautiful and well kept, but it was the time and effort put into my loved ones care that shined. I am forever grateful for the love he was shown as this staff of strangers became like family to him in the 8 months he was there. Azura has a fantastic program and tailored plan of care to help each residents' needs, and they became experts in handling my loved ones challenges that changed daily. They took a chance on taking on my loved ones unique case and I'm so happy they did. I'm not confident any other team could've handled him with such positive support and guidance that he deserved. Infinite thanks to Azura and their fantastic team of caregivers.
September 2021
Azura has been our safe harbor in this stormy world of dementia. After trying to manage the care of my parent with dementia on my own for the last three years, it became apparent that we needed more help. I contacted many memory care residences near my home and quickly found that Azura Fox Point stood out from all of the rest. From my first phone call with their Community Relations director I felt heard and comforted. I chose Azura Fox Point as my parent's new home without hesitation. I am continually impressed with the staff from the Director to the Maintenance to the Front Lobby staff. I can see with every interaction they have with me and my parent that they genuinely care and love their residents. They are available for questions and concerns and really have a holistic approach in caring for both the resident and the family, knowing how difficult dementia can be on everyone. I have found everyone to be very accommodating with requests I have and the never ending list of questions I also have. I love the "home" model they use so the resident feels like they are in their home and not in a hotel. They keep the residents engaged and active providing them with as many "moments" of joy as possible and share those moments of joy with their families. I would highly recommend Azura Fox Point if you have a loved one that may need the specialized care that they can provide.
July 2021
Beautiful facility and dedicated, caring staff. It's clear that extensive thought has been put into designing the space to be comfortable, home-like, and as non-restrictive as possible while maintaining a safe living environment for the residents. I think that level of comfort and dignity really goes a long way with helping residents to transition to their new home, which can understandably be difficult for many people. Residents also have plenty of daily activities that promote both mental and physical engagement, which contribute hugely to overall well being and quality of life. The attention to detail and intentional decisions regarding the design and daily schedule, as well as the patient, compassionate, and knowledgeable staff, really speak volumes to the quality of care provided and the overall experience that the residents have.
May 2021
We are so lucky we found Azura for Mom! Mom needed more care that what she could obtain in the assisted living facility where she was previously living, but she was not ready to move into a nursing home either. Azura was the perfect solution for her because they are able to provide all the care she needs now, and under almost any foreseeable circumstances in the future. In the 4 months that mom has been a resident, we have had the opportunity to interact with mom's caregivers, the head nurse, the bookkeeper, the executive director, and a few others. All have been a pleasure to deal with, and have demonstrated their professionalism and commitment to do what's right for their residents (who just happen to be our parents!). Since this is still the era of Covid at the time of this review, I have not been able to visit mom in the household where she lives, but I did take a tour just before the 1st residents started moving in, and the living arrangements are very nice! I won't attempt to explain the design and philosophy of the living spaces, so you will have to ask the Azura staff yourself. The biggest benefit for the family is that we don't have to worry about mom's well being. (well, not too much). We know that she is in good hands. DH, Glendale, WI

This community is beautiful and inviting. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. The Memory Care layout and activities are exceptional.
March 2021
My uncle came to Azura leaving the hospital after hitting his head after a fall. He no longer could make decisions himself often confused as to year he was living in. I was unsure he could make a meal or take care of himself. He needed a safe and caring place to live. Azura has been that and more. My uncle socializes with others, participates in activities, eats well - putting on weight, looks well kept and sounds happy and content. Azura has been godsend for us, I could not have asked for anything better. Thank you Azura for all your care and concern, I am very grateful! Ann Orvis

Azura has been a lifesaver for our family. We feel confident that our father with Alzheimer's is receiving the care he needs. The staff is very attentive and the facility offers many activities, resulting in much needed social interaction. And, as my dad has told me many times, the food is excellent (which is a huge bonus!). The building itself is beautiful as well, and very well thought out. I highly recommend this facility to others in need.
November 2020
My 93-year-old mother had been at an independent/assisted living center for almost ten years. As her dementia had progressed, it was time to move her to a Memory Care facility where she could get the care and secure facility that she needed. It didn't take long to find Fox Point Azura Memory Care that was practically in my back yard. I set up a tour and was impressed from the moment I walked in. A lovely lobby that was secure and had to be let in individually. There is a large cafe with small tables, access to drinks and fruit for the residents and their visitors. The "House" concept is unique, with a maximum of 20 residents. The atmosphere is homey and comfortable with the shared dining area, kitchen, TV room, and den and plenty of staff. The best part for my mother was having a shared screened in porch and beautiful patio with plenty of seating and umbrellas to be able to spend time sitting in the lovely sunshine. One of her favorite things to do. We were sold. This was the place for her. On moving day, we were all concerned about how difficult this transition was going to be. It was going to be difficult moving into a smaller apartment, she wouldn't know anyone, I would need to check on her every day to make sure she was ok. Boy, were we surprised? Only after a few days she knew her way around, everyone knew her name, she only had to walk out of her room to see the residents and staff. She eats delicious meals, has a full day of activities with the terrific life style team. The entire staff are always so caring and concerned for her well-being. If I have any questions, I can call them directly and the are very responsive.
