I called 3 times to speak to someone about getting my 87 year old Mom with dementia accepted into the Aristocrat. NO one ever called me back. I finally had to physically go in to the facility to speak with someone. They did not know when [name removed] would be back or when she could contact me. And that she was rarely there. I gave all my mother’s information (dementia, assistance in standing, walking ,eating, dressing, etc) I explained she had a bed sore that was almost healed. Finally someone called me back that afternoon, however I don’t know who it was as she did not say her name. She immediately told they could NOT accept my mom. She said we don’t have feeding tubes. I never once said that my mom had a feeding tube! Just merely assistance eating as she had a hard time with utensils. Also… she said we don’t take care of bed sores…. I explained that it was almost gone. I also happen to know that there are Alzheimer’s patients there that are worse off than my mother, and they seem to be taken care of perfectly fine. Then she finally said, we have no availability. She did not even give me any kind of timeframe as to when they may have availability . She just gave me the brush off. She was extremely short with me and so I asked if she could please do an assessment on my mom before she makes her decision. She clearly did not want to, but said she MIGHT try. Assisted Living is VERY expensive, you would think they would act more professional and caring. If [name removed] can’t handle calling someone back after they’ve tried to contact her three times then maybe someone else needs to be the director.

My grandma lived here twice and the staff seemed great to me .. The Directer seemed very sweet and knowledgeable I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone.
