My 88 year old mother was put here for a month after the left the hospital. She can be hard to please, however, she was content at this place. She used to be a fabulous cook, and she is picky with food, but she enjoyed the food here. It was good, homecooked, quality food. I like the fact that it's smaller than other places, I felt like she didn't get 'lost' because of it. They now have 2 elevators. We often would take her to the rec room and eat with her there and we all enjoyed that . I had nothing but good experiences with the staff here. I will say the rehab residential rooms are not nice. She shared another room with another lady/zero privacy. Other than that, we were very happy with the care that she got and even how us as family was treated.

I applaud Althea and the other kitchen Staff as they are rocking the Diabetic & Vegan Dietary needs. The salads are so delicious with the different varieties of vegetables and fruit. The other surprises include wraps, stuffed peppers, Chili, Fried Tofu Kabobs and fresh fruits for desert! Thank you, thank you to all of you for your effort and kindness!!!

My Mom lives there now! She receives incredible care but more importantly is truly loved by the staff. We feel such a sense of relief she is safe and cared for! The staff are fantastic!

My father lived at the Barrie manor for 2 years just before he passed this summer. The level of personal care was incredible. Everyone knew his name his favorite things and understood his many quirks. The dignity and love they showed my father was more than I could have expected. The food was amazing too - always fresh and something new created everyday. I would highly recommend the Barrie Manor for your loved ones care.

My mother turned 100 this year (2020) and we could not get to see her because of covid-19 restrictions. Happily for everyone, the home threw a birthday party complete with cake and a new birthday outfit. The staff went to great lengths to make it as normal occasion as possible. Staff from the PSW's up to the Administration made it happen

Barrie Manor is wonderful the staff go above and beyond to give the residents optimum care the new management team is amazing they have transformed what used to be into a loving caring home the residents are happy laughter can be heard throughout the Manor Dawna the activities director keeps the residents buzzing with cooking baking gardening crafts etc. Simply Barrie Manor is a safe and lovely environment

Excellent, well kept facility. Great menu, immersive activation, with an amazing staff that truly cares for your loved ones. The new management team has made major strides in updating the facilities to ensure a safe, clean, comfortable, and pleasant experience is had by all that stay, visit, or work at Barrie Manor. Every day something new is happening to keep our loved ones active, healthy, smiling, and entertained. If you are looking into a care facility for a loved one, I would totally recommend stopping in, taking a tour, and seeing the levels of professionalism and care provided!

I have maintained a professional association with the new management of Barrie Manor for the past year. The commitment of the staff to patient welfare is excellent and the ongoing improvements to the building and equipment have made this a safe and affordable facility. There is a top down mentality of providing the best care for your loved ones and you can be assured of excellent care.

I love Barrie Manor. The food is amazing and the staff go out of their way to help the residence in their day to day living. Dawna Proudman runs an amazing calendar of events so that the residents can meet and greet with other residents while playing games, exercise classes, baking with them and have bingo and Trivia. Dee the hairstylist is not just good at her job but the residents love her. The management team is spot on when it comes to the care and safety of the clients. Cheers to all of u and your thanks for all you did for my mother x

Very caring, professional services. Grammie really enjoyed the home style meals. We found her care was exceptional and we were comforted knowing she was in a safe, caring environment. They even had a Companion dog on staff.
