Love this place! The care is outstanding and the staff extremely friendly! It is locally owned with a warm "family-friendly" atmosphere. They get the importance of taking care of Mom and making her happy!!!

I've visited or inquired about most of the assisted living facilities in New Orleans and the surrounding areas in my quest to help loved ones make the best choice when this important step becomes necessary, and St. Francis Villa is by far my first choice. The smaller size, beautiful homelike atmosphere, and extremely caring Owners, Administrators, and Staff make this choice so much easier. My family and I felt so comforted knowing that our loved one was in a safe and nurturing environment. He actually got better while there due to the excellent care provided. Close, frequent communication with administration and staff was ongoing. There was always an open door policy for any concerns. I can't thank St. Francis enough for the love and caring shown to our family member. I give it 5 out of 5 stars in all areas and recommend St. Francis highly.

My family moved our mother from another facility to St. Francis 6 months ago. We chose St. Francis because it felt very much like home to us. Everyone was so kind to us and Mom during our visit. Mrs. Barbara took time to evaluate Mom before her move so they were prepared for her needs. Ashleigh guided us every step and Mom's move was effortless. It makes a difference when the owners are on site. The food is delicious, the facility is super clean and everyone is just kind. I highly recommend St. Francis!

Thank you for celebrating Mother's Day with our moms. They enjoyed the drinks and food. St. Francis staff are always planning wonderful activities and celebrations to keep residents involved and happy.

St Francis villa is a warm and welcoming place for your loved ones. The staff are friendly and very supportive to the residents. The facility is beautiful and gives the feel of home. The food is so good! My favorites are the fried chicken and spaghetti and meatballs. If you are looking for a place for mom, dad or any loved one consider moving them into St Francis Villa; the home away from home.

A million thanks for the caring staff at St Francis Villa. They welcomed us like family and created a second home for my father. The concern for his comfort and the attention to his needs are a blessing. With Top Notch care delivered by the aides who we truly feel want the best for Dad, to the medical professional overseeing his daily routine,,, we are eternally grateful. The administrative team is always available for questions and provide us with peace of mind. The facility is well appointed and maintained and truly feels like a home.

We chose St. Francis Villa because when we visited, everyone there had a smile on their face and was so nice. My dad was there for several years, and my mom was there for about 12 years. When Katrina hit and we took my mom to our place in Georgia, I thought she would want to stay, but she kept asking when she could go home. Barbara, Greg, Lauralee and everyone who worked there were her "family ". Some of her friends,who visited her there, ended up living there also. I have nothing but good things to say about St. Francis Villa.

My mother is a current resident of Saint Francis Villa and has been there for six months. When my wife and I were in the process of choosing a place for mom and we visited Saint Francis I knew that we need look no further for Mom's new home. The manager Laura Lee is both friendly and professional and has been nothing but kind and caring to my mother. The staff is both caring and kind to my mother. The owner, Barbara, is a Registered Nurse and extremely well versed in the special type of care that the geriatric residents there require. When my mother occasionally has a special need Barbara has always been quick to respond to anything we need. My wife is also a Registered Nurse and I too am a retired medical professional and we are both very happy with the care that my mother receives from both Barbara and the entire staff. It is comforting to us that a Nurse is both an owner and a full time caregiver. The activity and socialization program Saint Francis has in place is outstanding and my mother is a happy involved participant. This aspect of the care given there is exemplary. Another outstanding facet of the Saint Francis experience is the food. The Chef provides a healthy, varied menu three time a day and the offerings are comparable to fine restaurant dining. I have eaten there myself and always enjoyed it. In closing, I highly recommend Saint Francis Villa as an assisted living facility.

I love working at St. Francis Villa. It is truly about FAMILY. Greg and Barbara were called spiritually to provide a loving and caring environment for their residents. Residents are supported with care as they age in place. St. Francis Villa is more than just an Assisted Living it is a loving community with heart.

St Francis Villa is a great place to work! Owners show appreciation, understanding and respect. Coworkers assists and encourages each other. It's a home feeling, energetic and happy atmosphere. And for the best part, the elderly residents will make your day with their warmth, conversations, appreciation and brite smiles! I felt a natural welcoming experience the first day I started training. So if you are looking for a great place to work or to place a loved one. St Francis Villa is the perfect choice

I have visited this assisted living community a couple of times to see a family friend. I would have to say this is certainly one of the best assisted living places I've experienced compared to many others I've visited. I read something saying the building was constructed sometime around 1999 and it still looks to be in excellent condition. This assisted living community has very nice communal areas. The atmosphere for the residents seems active and vibrant. During my visits the residents were very enthusiastic when lunch time arrived with a lot of pleasant seating areas to enjoy meals. I had the opportunity to eat here and met the chef who has worked here for over 20 years! I was amazed to discover the chef had previously worked at such NOLA legends as LaRuth's, Commander's Palace and Salvatoire's restaurants. Overall, if I ever had to end up in an assisted living community, this location is one of just a very few on my list of options.

Everyone from administration to the employees are helpful and professional. They work as a team. No drama which is great. They truly love their residents and genuinely care for their well being. Top notch facility.
