I’ve been living here since December 2015 (10 years, 8 months) It’s gotten a lot better over the years. There’s wi-fi, tv room, and a microwave to heat up food at night. Most of the residents are relaxed and chill. There is 24 hour staff to help with medical emergencies. My room is nice and clean, I also have a betta fish to help keep me company. There are designated smoking areas outside so no smoking in the building. Located in the heart of flushing nearby restaurants, gyms, parks and a mall (skyview mall). You are free to do whatever you want like go out, travel, or walk the neighborhood for community walks. Sometimes we go on trips like bowling, movies, and off broadway shows. In conclusion this is a good place for senior citizens to retire.

Sanford is a great place to keep busy! We have book club, computers, and a great recreation program. I really appreciate all the work from the staff. Raesheda and the other ladies in the med room are great. My case manager Shanna is very helpful. Jonathon does great with keeping the building clean. Great staff, very friendly people that work here!

I really enjoy living at Sanford. We take so many fun trips! We go to the movies, the petting zoo, bowling. I really love going to see plays! We see off-Broadway plays every few weeks. I'm also really grateful for the friends I have here at Sanford Home. There are very good people who live in this building.

The health aides are very kind and helpful. Josephine, Celeste, Vashti, and Taslima always keep me smiling and laughing. I am also very grateful for my case managers Lizzie and Ebony. They both do a great job listening to me and explaining everything that I need to know. Cory at the front desk is also very friendly. Sanford has a really great staff, and everyone is very helpful.

I moved here 4.5 years ago after a horrific car accident. The staff has been very accommodating. Everyone has gone above and beyond to help get me back in shape. They helped me get the medication that I needed, and thankfully that made me feel much better. The staff has been awesome with helping me manage this pain. We have a new recreation director named Matt who runs some very fun activities. The recreation assistant Sammi is also a great addition. The recreation department has had some amazing developments. I recently went to go see an off-Broadway play. I am so grateful to have seen this play. With the pain I have dealt with, I did not think I would ever be able to experience anything like this. These trips help keep me happy and energized. I'm looking forward to seeing another play next month. In the time that I have lived here, they continue to make great improvements to the building. After 4 years of living here, I am glad to call Sanford Manor my home and very happy to be here.

As a resident, I find Sanford Manor a home in which all my needs are met. Medication is supplied, we have doctors on site, we have therapy and mental health services. I love spending time in the recreation room- we always have a variety of fun activities that take place. I especially love book club which meets twice a week! The counseling service has been a great resource to me. We have home health aids to check up on us. We are also lucky to have a housekeeping staff to keep everything tidy! My clothes are washed for me, and I get clean, fresh bedding every week. The free Wi-fi is also a plus! Located in the vibrant neighborhood of Downtown Flushing, we are in walking distance of a variety of businesses, restaurants, and parks. Only steps away from the 7 train and major bus routes. I am very happy at Sanford and very grateful to be a member of this wonderful community.

I was there on Tuesday afternoon 10/26, to visit a friend and the positive energy from a party that had been given that day was infectious. So many residents were smiling, chatting, eating, and enjoying one another's company. Well done Mr. Sack's and all your staff!!!©©
