My Mother has been living here for two years. Several improvements have been made in the past six months. A new administrator with a focus on the residents, housekeeping, and facilities have been implemented. Thanks to the staff and caregivers who work in a challenging environment providing a critical service.

Moving our Mom to this facility was one of the best decisions ever! The sales Director- Jimmy Horton really understands how important it is for our love one to be in a safe, clean, supportive and loving environment. One that has the proper management (Antoinette M) and care team in place! We ’ would recommend this facility to anyone looking for A plus care! It’s comforting to know our Mom is enjoying home away from home! I have been very pleased with Roxboro Assisted Living. My mom has been there for almost a year now. The staff has been efficient in meeting the needs of my mom and others. Her room is always cleaned and smells fresh and clean. The medtechs have so many to care for but do an excellent job meeting their needs. My mom loves the food there. She enjoys all the activities especially devotions! She enjoys getting her hair fixed once a week by Tom! The resident physician has been very caring towards her . I appreciate all the staff from the Director to the concierge. ( who is such a joy to see ) Everyone plays a special part in meeting the needs of my wonderful mother and I thank God for them!!!!!

My father has a spacious private room decorated just like home’ for his senior years. There is always something for the residents to do and the new Administration is working very hard to ensure that staffing is ample and efficient. Everyone from the nurses, attending medical staff, custodial care, administrators and other residents always seem to be striving for a real family feel at RAL. There are always activities like crafts, movies, singing groups and local churches and entertainment to keep things busy and joyous. We have attended several events; such as, trunk or treat for Halloween, as well as Thanksgiving, Christmas and Valentine celebrations! The staff all participate (Heather & Antoinette..and their staff) and make residents feel special and valued.

My sister-in-law resides at Roxboro Assisted Living and has been very happy there. The director (Antionette) and staff are wonderful and most accommodating ! I would recommend this facility to anyone looking to place a family member !

Best experience i have ever had and have from administrator to all the staff they are so caring and loving toward my loved one. If i had someone else to put in the facility i would not think twice about it. I wish the other replace the my loved one was in was half as good as roxboro. The administrator is amazing and so caring that she gave us the time of day and reassured us the my loved will be taken. Care of and she kept her word. I recommend this place to everyone

This place is not a good place to have family members there food has gotten worst cooks serving half cooked chicken. They must dont do background checks because they have a young lady by the name "name removed" who has a fellony because she was working at canterbury house was giving a resident a bath while on a facetime call with her boyfriend in jail and canterbury house fired her how grose is that like really that place has people like that working i will never put my family member there and the new administrator and regional director no about they dont care

First of all, no place is a perfect 5 so with that said, I rated it a 4. My mother became a resident there in March 2020. She adjusted very quickly and enjoyed her stay there. She became involved with daily activities that were planned and enjoyed Bible Study, playing cards, bingo, and singing. The staff was also good to her, of course some were better than others which is normal. But I can say mom never complained about the care she was given. If I had a complaint, I went straight to the administrator and it was taken care of in a timely manner. I do suggest that everyone be active in their loved ones life, talk with them , go visit and check things out, and ask questions. Don’t leave them anywhere and not visit.
