My caregiver that is assigned to me is great, but she's had to leave the county for several weeks because of a death in the family. I totally understand that. She is due back this next Monday. The caregiver assigned to me is very polite, but she has no self motivation she is has to be asked to do anything. What she likes to do is sit and yack on her phone. I do not mind at all if is a necessary call. Tomorrow is her last day with me and I look forward to Ionia coming back.

My wife Patty, has been bedridden for a few years and it came to the point I needed help. Senior Helpers has been providing outstanding care for her since the first part of June. In addition Senior Helpers has arranged Dr visits in home, lab work to be done and other services that I couldnt do on my own. I did not expect any of this, and just a few days ago, I ended up in the ER for over six hours with Patty home by herself, so I called Senior Helpers and they were able send a care giver out to be with my wife. I began my search on the internet. I completed an online needs assessment. Quickly there after I was contacted by Ketha Bonadie with Senior Helpers. Ketha met with me the very next day. I was very impressed with the passion and deep caring that she brings. As anyone who has ever been in need of help with elder parents or family members in need of care can attest, this is a very emotional and challenging time for everyone. Ketha was able to bring a wealth of knowledge and assistance. She and her team are deeply committed to treating their patients and their family members with dignity and respect. Ketha was able to assess my mothers needs and provide caregivers who were able to bond with my mother. To say I am very demanding is quite an understatement. To the chagrin of the memory care facility I am constantly demanding better care for my 93-year-old mother. As the financial (POA) I absolutely refuse to accept anything less than the best care her retirement funds can purchase. When my mother was placed under Hospice care I was impressed how well my mother responded to the loving, highly skilled, one-on-one care provided by the hospice CNA. My only disappointment was that the CNA only made visits 3 days a week and only for 1 hour each visit. I decided to see if I could find a care provider that could come in and provide more of the same quality one-on-one dedicated care. I tried two other providers unsuccessfully before discovering Senior Helpers. I am so pleased and completely satisfied with the care provided by the caregivers from Senior Helpers. They spend the time to learn about my mother and make sure that all her needs and wants are more than adequately attended to. I now feel comfortable knowing that someone with the same demanding standards is helping to guarantee that my mother gets the very best care when I am not there myself.

We cannot say enough about how amazing caregiver Abreian was with Opa. Bre and Opa developed a great relationship and she was able to connect well to him. She was such a blessing to have her apart of the family and care for Opa. She went above and beyond for him especially towards the end. We cannot thank her enough for all she did for our family. We also want to thank Client Manager, Lisa, for all she did to help find the perfect caregiver for our family. You can tell how much Lisa cares for all of the clients and caregivers. Mine and my Moms experience with Senior Helpers was outstanding. The help they gave and piece of mind was immeasurable. My Mom was able to remain in her home with their help. It also allowed me some respite from her constant care when I needed a break. I couldnt say enough good things about how much help they gave and the level of communication they gave me so that Mom was well taken care of. I hope they will be around for me should I need the help one day.
