I worked at Oakview for over a year. I absolutely loved it. To understand Oakview you've got to look beyond the beautiful setting and really look at the staff. Many of which have been there a very long time. The facility is ran by Melissa Brown who is an extremely experienced nurse. She only hires loving people who deeply care about the people who call Oakview home. Never once in all the hours I spent in that building did I ever see a staff member treat a resident with anything but respect. It's an absolutely amazing place for people in their sunset years. The food is home cooked and really good. The facility is always clean, and the staff will do just about anything to make a resident smile. This is an amazing home away from home. I would absolutely encourage a loved one to consider Oakview when living at home is no longer a good option.
