I have been familiar with this facility for some time now. Being a resident of Southfield I’ve known several families whose loved ones received care here and have had good experiences. Now being in the building for another patient I’ve witnessed first hand how the Social Work Team Sumaiyah and Natasha goes far beyond normal duties to ensure a patient receives all the resources they need. Terri the administrator takes this building to heart making sure residents feel seen and valued. Each time I enter the building I’m greeted with a warm smile and the residents look happy and cared for. No place is perfect but this facility really tries and it shows.

I visited the facility this month. My sister in law had been at this community a few years back. I was impressed with the continued cleanliness of the community. Staff was friendly. Residents look happy and well groomed.

Things have turned around quite drastically over the end of summer into fall! I visited the facility and was very impressed by how friendly the staff was and how energetic the residence seem to be. One of the residence even said I reminded her of her grandson and it was just a wholesome experience! Everyone working there deserves a 5% increase of salary. Keep doing the lords work!

From the first time I walked into the Medilodge of Southfield, I was impressed with the hospitality and spirit of the facility. From the greeting by a smiling receptionist, to the busy, friendly therapy employees. The residents were out and about in common spaces engaged, and busy moving around doing their own activity. Everyone seemed very well taken care of in. The staff overall were extremely friendly and caring.

Starting from the receptionist, staff in hallway assisting with directions and navigating the elevator codes to pt being seen. The Nurse was exceptionally helpful with providing Medicare required data. This was during an emergency and physician call SN had with another patient. Commendable service by the Facility Nurse L.

This is one of the better rehabilitation facilities I have visited over the last five months. My friend has been in 3 other locations in metro Detroit and found the care unsatisfactory. However, even at Medilodge, it took a couple of weeks for them to identify her need for finger food because she is unable to use a fork and to get a shower. I am hopeful that they are helping her regain her strength and to be independent again.

My mom stayed there for about 2 years. She said the nurses were nice to her. I heard them laughing together at times. When I called my mom, she'd be like "Well, they are coming to change me. So I have to go. " So clearly they stayed on top of that.

My Mother spent 6 weeks at Medilodge in short term rehab. The staff were excellent. They were extremely kind and caring. The nurses were top notch and we always felt that Mom was in caring hands. Kudos to the PT and OT team for their encouragement in helping Mom exceed her goals. Thank You!

Went to visit my grandmother today. I was so impressed how friendly the staff is. From the time I walked through the door, until I left, everyone spoke and had smiles on their faces. My grandmother also said the staff treats her like a queen and always make sure that she's comfortable and her needs are being met. She also raves about how good the food is! My family and I are very appreciative and thankful for the medical attention she is receiving. It makes us feel when we leave for the day, that's she's in good hands. Hi arrived at meadow Lodge of Southfield to visit with my nephew Gerald and found that he was alert and having another visitor which is his sister. We had pleasant fellowship and watch some of the game with Gerald. He seemed to be in good spirits and was giving medication while I was there. I want to comment that his room was clean and things were in order that makes a big difference. I will be happy to visit Gerald again because he seemed to enjoy the sunny day today. My visit was about an hour or so on Sunday March 5th 2023.

While there to get my husband registered into hospice, the staff were very courteous and extremely helpful. They were very patient and underdstanding while dealing with my husbands irritability due to his illness. I stopped and talked to a few patients and they for the most part, were comfortable and content.

My Mother was here in 2020 when covid was starting and I could only come to the front door. I had to put complete trust in this facility for two weeks, they were amazing and would actually give me a call to let me speak with her. She was out of here in 2 weeks and doing great and never had to go back to the hospital or rehab for 3 years. I highly recommend them.
