I had my uncle there and the place was terrible. They didn't bathe like they were supposed to. The CNA's sat on their tail most of the time playing on their phone and won't answer the facility phone frequently. And yelled at the patient like they were dogs. [name removed] the administrator has someone from DHEC tipping him off before they come because the two-faced manager [name removed] (which is [name removed]'s wife that is not supposed to be working under him) in the kitchen will start cleaning up in the mornings before DHEC comes out. One of the CNA's is killing off the patients because someone is passing away every week. Mr. Boker doesn't know all that goes on there. They keep it hid from him. I hope this commit opens Bokers eyes and let him see how terrible this facility is being ran. They had one patient there Mr. Freeman who was going to leave and he got sick all of a sudden and died. I will never take a loved one there anymore. I advise you all not to either. O yeah, and they keep COVID all the time.

I brought my brother that almost died to Seneca Rehab for extended care. I was so please and felt comfortable after meeting one of his CNA's Christy Cobb. She worked beautifully with my brother. She always was caring and I felt so blessed that my brother had someone as good as her to work with him. I love having him there and he likes it too!

My mom with dementia was treated so well here. She took a fall at her assisted living facility, went to the hospital and was sent to Seneca Health & Rehab for 8 days of physical therapy and rehab. The staff were very kind and helpful and the facility appeared and smelled extremely clean. I highly recommend them!

Candice Poole is always so welcoming everytime I visit SHAR. She always has a big smile on her face. She is always very professional and super helpful. Such a wonderful person to first lay eyes on when you walk into the facility.

My mom went to SHR for hip fracture rehab and ended up in long term care for two years. The staff fell in love with her and we fell in love with them. She was well cared for. The staff and administration worked well with us whenever we had a question or concern. When she passed, they cried with us. We are grateful for our relationship with this facility and recommend them to others.

My mom stayed here a short while after having spine surgery and I can honestly say she received excellent care. The office staff was helpful with getting her set up to stay there and the care staff was great.

New administrator is awesome. He goes above and beyond. He even washes dishes and does whatever needs to be done. New kitchen manager also goes above and beyond. I love working for them. They treat me like family. New owners are nice as well.

Missy in speech therapy is very compassionate, reviewing safe swallowing with each resident. Melissa in occupational therapy has great energy and leads our group therapy session. Residents look forward to what they call "the party".

I can honestly say as a former CNA This is one of the best healthcare places I have ever worked in. Everyone works as a team. All the health care staff, cleaning staff, kitchen staff, and even management staff.all do everything possible. Seneca Health & Rehab Center is under new Management since December 2022, and also has a few new Managers, and you can clearly see a difference already. The facility looks so much better. The new Administrator doesn't shy away rolling up his sleeves, and works late hours to work and help out his staff in the Kitchen, Housekeeping and Maintenance. The Director of Nursing and her assistant know their residents and their needs very well, and taking excellent care of them. So do the Nurses and CNA's. I highly recommend admitting your family member to Seneca to get the best care & treatment

I recently visited Seneca Health and Rehab and was so impressed by the staff. As soon as I entered the building I was greeted with a smile. The staff were focused on making sure all protocols were followed in order to keep residents and staff safe. Every single person I interacted with had a smile on their face. They were all helpful and caring. I was walking down the hall with William, one of the unit supervisors, and I couldn't help but notice how he stopped and greeted all the residents and staff. He had also been cooking hotdogs for the staff to show appreciation that day. I also had the pleasure of meeting Gail, Christine, Shevy and Randall. They were friendly, professional and all smiles. No doubt they are the same with their residents. I have thought about it several times since I left the building last week and wanted to give this facility a five star review. Katie and the leadership team are clearly doing a great job because you are only as good as your leaders. I will recommend this facility to others based on my experience last week.

Seneca Health and Rehab was a life saver for my family. They worked with us and opened their doors to my family and welcomed us as their own. They helped us navigate uncharted territory and aided in the transition of my family member to their facility. They immediately welcomed her with open arms and showed her love and compassion. The management team helped my family complete all the necessary paperwork and helped us apply for the assistance needed to ensure the level of care they provide can continue to be afforded. The staff members go above and beyond to make all residents feel important with continued reminders that Seneca Health and Rehab is their home and staff are simply visitors aiding in their care. Our favorite part is the phone calls we often receive from our family member of how this nurse played cards with her, or this nurse painted her finger nails, that nurse prayed with her, or this CNA helped her fix her hair, or the therapist that stopped in to simply say hello and check in, or the person who runs the building walking the floor and bringing her a soda or glass of water, or the maintenance team that greet her every morning as they bring supplies in. No one walks by without saying hello and making her feel important. The care they have provided has been a blessing and created an opportunity for my family to transition from caregivers to sons, daughters, brothers, sisters etc. we are able to sleep at night and go through the day knowing she is surrounded by other residents and staff that love and care about her the way we do.

My grandmother was recently placed at this facility. They welcomed her with opened arms, they take amazing care of her. The caregivers are amazing wonderful and love the residence like their own family. Seneca health and rehab is an excellent facility with wonderful people to take care of your loved one.

I spent several weeks here after a stroke most of the staff were wonderful the food service wasn't good I have a seafood allergies but it never failed that they would send seafood once a week once they sent as shrimp meal my nurse sent it back they replaced it with a sandwich tuna that was my only complaint thas were good one named shay was caring an compassionate treated like a person the therapy depart was great missy was the most caring and compassionate person

They have been great with mom and were excellent helping us utilize Medicare, Medicaid and the VA. It would have been so difficult without their guidance. The staff are so warm and caring with Mom. I can't imagine her anywhere else.
