My dad, who is 84 and has advanced Ahlheimer’s/dementia stayed here for a ten day respite stay. Everyone I encountered before, during, and after his visit was wonderful; they were kind, compassionate, and took great care of my dad. I don’t know everyone, but Elaine, Jimmy, David, Melonie, Gail, Connie, Janna, Dawn, and Pam were just a few of the people who made a difference. I wish I knew and could thank ALL the people who played a part in my dad’s successful stay. He was very happy and healthy when I picked him up, which is everything I want for him. Thank you Seneca Health and Rehab!

I owe an apology for my previous review concerning this facility. I have watched the staff members working hard to make sure all patients are treated properly. But, the food could be better.

They get you in quickly, but after that watch out. I had someone there for rehab. She was elderly and had made great progress in the hospital. When she arrived she started going downhill. She was in bed each time we saw her with no pants on and she wore the same shirt for over 5 days. She finally ended up back at the hospital because she was turning yellow. Only one person called and talked to us about this. So disappointing! Be sure you check all places out first. I know they are serving several people, but if you want to see your loved one progress so they can go home or back to an assisted living, this might not be your place.

Nurses Lori & Carson were great during my stay going over and above at rehab always checking to make sure that I had everything I needed during my rehab stay. OT /PT were excellent and listen to the goals i had for my self and help get me there. I would Highly recommend rehab here to anyone needing a rehab facility

We are very happy the care our family member is getting. She has done a 180 since she was admitted. Staff has gone over and beyond to meet her needs and we cant thank them enough.

The staff were all very friendly, loving and caring. The interdisciplinary team met with me twice (son and caretaker of my Dad) promptly and as soon as I asked for a meeting. The facility is clean and attractive. Mr. King, the nursing home administrator is available, super friendly, very approachable, and provided my Dad unbiased opinions on the insurances we were considering. Gail, the insurance expert, also provided us with unbiased insurance information and recommendations that would benefit my father the most. I definitely appreciated the honesty of everyone and felt they had my dad’s best interest at heart. A special thank you to the nursing staff. Costanza (nurse tech) has a very genuine, beautiful heart of gold that you can feel. Nurses Lorie, John and Jacob, all excellent and nice to talk with. Housekeeper Bertha, so sweet and kind and fun to chat with. The front receptionists were all so friendly and kind, helpful. And thank you to the rehabilitation staff, Deanna, Renasha, and Taylor (and others) who worked hard with my dad to help him regain his mobility! Thanks to all! Everything is going great back at his condominium now and we went out to dinner last night at a restaurant and Dad did great!

I had a wonderful experience with this facility. The staff is caring, professional, and truly dedicated to their residents' well being. The facility is clean, welcoming, and you can tell the staff takes pride in providing quality care. A special shout-out to Erica in Admissions - she went above and beyond to figure out the ins and outs on Mom's insurance. She made the entire process smooth and stress-free, often times speaking with me in the evening after I was off work. Erica made a difficult time much easier for my family. I highly recommend Seneca Health and Rehabilitation Center to anyone looking for compassionate and skilled care for their loved one!

While my loved one was staying at this facility, I had the pleasure of seeing Breanna and Jane in action. Those two young ladies took such good care of them. You can tell they truly have kind hearts and a real calling for this kind of work. They were always gentle and patient”not just with my loved one, but with all the residents I saw them help. They never rushed, always took the time to listen, and treated everyone with respect. The facility is lucky to have these two young ladies!

Seneca HRC has met my highest expectations for years to come. The staff is friendly and good with the patients. The place is clean and orderly whenever I visit. Management is very caring and ready to assist when you have concerns especially Jimmy, NHA, JoAnne, DOR, Pam, MDS as well as Gail, BOM. Nursing and Dietary team all provide very good service. Would highly recommend this place.

Thankful for a place where our family was treated so well from the very start. Erica gave us a tour, taking time to answer all of our questions. I was so worried about sending my mom to rehab but Melonie and Erica in admissions walked me through the entire process and really made me feel at ease. I know she's getting the care she needs.

I had my uncle there and the place was terrible. They didn't bathe like they were supposed to. The CNA's sat on their tail most of the time playing on their phone and won't answer the facility phone frequently. And yelled at the patient like they were dogs. [name removed] the administrator has someone from DHEC tipping him off before they come because the two-faced manager [name removed] (which is [name removed]'s wife that is not supposed to be working under him) in the kitchen will start cleaning up in the mornings before DHEC comes out. One of the CNA's is killing off the patients because someone is passing away every week. Mr. Boker doesn't know all that goes on there. They keep it hid from him. I hope this commit opens Bokers eyes and let him see how terrible this facility is being ran. They had one patient there Mr. Freeman who was going to leave and he got sick all of a sudden and died. I will never take a loved one there anymore. I advise you all not to either. O yeah, and they keep COVID all the time.

Hey. It's tammi jo. If you need a place to go after surgery. Skilled nursing, long term care, physical therapy. You must go here. I mean this with all my heart. The staff are absolutely amazing!!!!!!!! EVERYONE ONE of the staff was so caring, sweet, empathetic, loving, attentive. The nurses and cna desrve everything the world can offer them. All such good people! . The activities people, even housekeeping are amazing. All such lovely people!!! The chefs go above and beyond to feed you what you like. I can truly say this place is amazing. I fell in love with other patients and was sad.to leave. Yup I was sad to go. I cried. Trust me on this I have been to alot of places and I will make sure if I ever need to go again. I'll go here. Mr. King and Ms. Thomas respond to questions and address questions or concerns with a professional, courteous, and caring demeanor. There was an issue with billing, and it was resolved quickly. Most importantly, my loved one receives compassionate care in a safe, clean facility where nurses and staff show genuine concern for the residents. Nurse Tammy and Nurse Holly on unit A are wonderful.

I brought my brother that almost died to Seneca Rehab for extended care. I was so please and felt comfortable after meeting one of his CNA’s Christy Cobb. She worked beautifully with my brother. She always was caring and I felt so blessed that my brother had someone as good as her to work with him. I love having him there and he likes it too!

Candice Poole is always so welcoming everytime I visit SHAR. She always has a big smile on her face. She is always very professional and super helpful. Such a wonderful person to first lay eyes on when you walk into the facility.

My mom went to SHR for hip fracture rehab and ended up in long term care for two years. The staff fell in love with her and we fell in love with them. She was well cared for. The staff and administration worked well with us whenever we had a question or concern. When she passed, they cried with us. We are grateful for our relationship with this facility and recommend them to others.

My mom with dementia was treated so well here. She took a fall at her assisted living facility, went to the hospital and was sent to Seneca Health & Rehab for 8 days of physical therapy and rehab. The staff were very kind and helpful and the facility appeared and smelled extremely clean. I highly recommend them!
