The facility and their employees show such a compassion and care for their residents. I have witnessed them be loving and caring to the needs of the patients.

Everyone there was wonderful to my 90 year old mother who had fallen and broken her hip. She did rehabilitation for 3 months and recovered. The doctors nurses and therapists were excellent. Her wound care nurse was extraordinarily capable.

My sister was a resident there for 3 years until she returned there from the hospital on hospice. The staff there took good care of us as well as good care of her. They loved her and truly cared for her. She had made many friends there. My only complaint was that the staff doctor came in and interfered with the hospice care orders. Otherwise, the staff showed us and her the utmost respect in my sister's last hours.

They started out good, but went down hill! My Dad's cloths keep coming up missing, we keep having to replace them. All employees seen to be friendly as long as the patient behaves and doesn't have any issues. Went out to visit him and he had a pair of torn pj pants on, no socks, which is not like him at all, he always has to have socks on, did have shoes on, but they were miss matched and one wasnt even his. Missing a pair of his tennis shoes and his favorite hoody is missing, dirty sheets on his bed. And I'm pretty sure some of the employees have sticky fingers!

My daddy was in Lakeview Nursing Center in 2009 and I may be a little late getting this review typed, but I have to say, he had the absolute best care that I could ask for before he passed on May 6, 2009. The nurses and his doctor called me weekly to let me know how he was doing. If his meds were changed, I received a call from the staff. They never failed to ask how I was doing as well. Being 6 hours away, it was very comforting knowing that he was being to well cared for in his final days. This is by far the best nursing facility on the Coast. Loved the peacocks, too! Thank you Lakeview for making my father's transition to heaven the best that it could be.
