This is what assisted living should be! A smaller community in a beautiful country setting. The staff are kind and do a great job with their residents. I've worked for Alive Hospice for several years and this is one of my favorite assisted livings to visit and work with. Give them a visit and you'll be glad you did!

This is such a beautiful facility in a beautiful, peaceful setting. The owners have a strong clinical background in healthcare so they are persistent in monitoring the health and wellbeing of their residents. I have worked with Paul in a professional capacity for several years and would not hesitate to place an aging family member here.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Maple Cottage in Portland. From the staff to the location, and cleanliness of the facility surpassed my expectations. Finding a place for my Uncle hasn't been easy. He needed a smaller place so he feels more at home. This is the place. The communication between myself and the administration has been wonderful. Did I tell you amazing the food is? Matt is a wonderful chef who goes beyond what other places do for residents. I love how he also cooks for dietary needs as well. I could go on and on but I think you get the idea. Maple Cottage of Portland isn't just an assisted living it is now my uncles home

Our father has been there for 1 1/2 years and he has had excellent care. The workers are caring, courteous, patient, and respectful to our father and our family. The facility is clean. The changes and renovations have made it much more friendly and welcoming to the residents and visitors.
