I cannot speak highly enough of the quality of care at Goodwin House. The healthcare provider team is caring, compassionate, and professional. In particular, the Director of Admissions, Arlene Dixon, does an outstanding job in accommodating patient needs in all areas. I am confident that they very likely saved my mother's life. We are grateful for Goodwin!

I would give Goodwin House 5 stars as their staff and facility are top notch. My complaint is I have no way to appropriately thank the staff for all they are doing to care for the residents /our loved ones.

What a friendly and welcoming environment! Many facilities attempt to recreate that homely feel, while few actually achieve it. Goodwin House is the later! No place is perfect by everyone's definition, but Goodwin House comes mighty close!

My parents have been there for 10 years and I have found this community caring and supportive at all levels. I somewhat agree with the other author about some of the changes, but the new facility is warm and welcoming. My parents moved from independent living to assisted and my father to Hope Garden. All along the way there were people working with my family. My father died this spring and we were held with love and care. And they are not from Alexandria. Thanks to Goodwin House and its staff for all of their care.
