One of the most scary situations for people over 80 are falls. My wife fell and fractured her hip. Now what! After a successful operation they referred us to Golden Modesto which used to be Hylond Health. Wow! They are very good. Other than the fact that she was bed ridden for awhile. The staff took very good care for her. They are professional, courteous, and very caring. I couldn’t thank them enough for what they did for us. If I should need a place like that. That’s where I would go. The physical therapist were very friendly and professional as well. So be careful but if something should happen? I’ve got a place for you.

This review is over do by a couple months. My overall experience with most of the staff has been pleasant and uplifting. I came in from the hospital decrepit. By the grace of God and the kind and patient nurses I have ascended from the hospital bed and to my feet. I was in a room close to the manager's office in charge of patients care. My personal experience with the main manger Katie was beyond uncomfortable and everything she has stated to me was either untrue or mislead my hope to a better future of humanity as a whole. She promised me care and equipment upon my arrival at home, and none was there for my safety when I got home. Every conversation with me was condescending and bad mouthed her fellow coworkers. She would as misleading questions in regard to my care in hopes that I would say bad things about the workers. I even overheard her talking to some of the staff in such a mean and degrading way which led me to believe she grew up without proper care and kindness. On the other hand, all the other workers treated me with such care and patience. They let me take my time and went the extra mile to treat me with respect. My experience with everyone but Katie was beyond phenomenal and have never experienced such great care. I would recommend anyone in need of proper nursing care in this fine establishment without the guidance of that manager Katie. I'll rate my experience 4 stars if I would have never crossed paths with that person. I wish the team nothing but good things at Golden Modesto center xoxo

At Rehab in golden Modesto ,I got inspired and I got a lot of helo so much that when I leave here, I will look for a place to continue my work out. May, with her music, never played before, thought me how to move with the beat. She showed me how to move, raised my hands, through that I was able to raise my hand that I couldn't do before due to my stroke . Thank you to the rehab team.

To be honest whrn I first arrived I was discouraged. My medication hadn't arrived at the facility yet ....but it was no fault of the staff at the facility after a nurse explained the procedure I understood but was still very frustrated. All the staff ...from the nurses to the ladies in the admissions office were encouraging me to stay .....I am so glad I did everyone working who interacted with me had a very positive attitude.....the ladies in the admissions office checked on me everyday and went above and beyond to answer any questions that I had ....the staff working the floor had very positive attitudes not just with me but I saw how they treated everyone ....same with the staff in therapy. So overall I had a pretty positive experience there.

Amazing I was at your facilities for rehabilitation after knee surgery and received the very best care. Nursing and aids were always helping anytime I needed them. Physical therapy help was a 10 out of 10. Over all I would rate you as a 10 out of 10. I would definitely recommend anyone looking for a place to pick you. All help cared deeply for the patients.

My mother has been in this facility for 1 year and been treated very well. She has dementia and is very happy there and does better with more people interacting and activities. They have some newer staff and possibly those comments made from prior reviews perhaps those people are no longer working here. My experience with nurses RNs and LVN have been great. They have big jobs that most people can't do that work.

I had my aunt in this facility . They were so kind and understanding. They were so responsive to my questions. The staff shows real care and compassion for what they do , from when she came in , to when she left . Thank you Golden Modesto Staff for taking such great care of my aunt.

It was very difficult It was during the sheltering because of the corono virius so My mother was scared and confused but the nurses did all they could with her to try and make it easier on her I'm so greatful

My aunt has been in Hy-Lond for a week... everyone's been wonderful and caring. The therapist's...PT, OT, and Speach... have been very good and really work with her. It's very rare to have to wait more than a few minutes when using the call button! Very attentive! All of the staff, especially CNAs Geli and MaryAnne, have been very thoughtful, caring and kind— Also one of the first things I noticed when I walked in was that this facility does not SMELL like a nursing home!’–

I arrived here yesterday (8/6/19) and this morning the staff and nurses were absolutely wonderful. Very efficient in patient care and they were extremely helpful with my preferences regarding meals. Everyone is so nice and helpful here. I am so glad I chose this facility for my short term rehabilitation. My Mom worked here 20 yrs ago and a few of her co workers who worked with her back then, came in & talked n visited with me & we reminisced about good times they shared while working with her ! Evelyn, Alisha, Sharee, thank you so much for sharing those memories. You are such blessing here at this facility ! And I highly recommend anyone who needs short or long term care, to definitely come here. ‘‘

Staff very respectful, friendly and courteous. My dad was well taken care of, and was actually moved to a room close to reception in order to keep a closer eye on him and his needs! Was happy with his care.

My father has been here for rehabilitation after falling on 2 occasions. The majority of the staff for the hospital is very good. The therapist for both PT & OT or outstanding.
