This place is terrible. The administration, head of nursing, nurse practitioner, and doctor do the bare minimum and rely on floor nurses who are over worked. Aides are overworked and hit or miss. My family member often sits in his own waste for extended periods of time. Food is disgusting, served late and often cold. I have been lied to on numerous occasions and when I call them out on the lie they tell me Im rude and to take my family member somewhere else. There is medical neglect and basic care neglect all over this place. Please dont believe the good reviews of this place. Not true. So many families unhappy and so tired of fighting for basic care.

As a patient of this facility for rehab and some medical I would Rte this place 5 out of 5. The director Kevin and his staff are doing great and are always nice. Food I would give a 3 out of 5. Due to being to close to hospital food.

My brother and best friend Von Hanshaw lives at this facility and he receives excellent care as far as I know. He has told me on occasions that he has had some quality nursing and aids that have truly helped him. The facility is also one of the nicest looking nursing homes that I've seen.

When me and my 2 kids went to visit my brother Von Hanshaw, I was blown away by how beautiful and well kept your facility is. The staff were super friendly, residents were all laughing and talking. The one thing that stood out to me was, how helpful everyone was when I entered the building. I know Von really likes it there, thanks for going above and beyond to make this place a home.

I've been here a little over 3 years until about up to the last 6-8 months it was pretty rough until we got the new administrator in here kevin. He's really gotten things cleaned up and straightened out around here, him and his employees. He's strictly for his residents. If any of the corporate people should happen to read this, I think he's a keeper.

I enjoy working at Forest Hills as we are able to care for almost everyone, no matter the age or care level needed. I love that Forest Hills gives us the opportunity to also serve others. For Thanksgiving, we delivered 20 turkeys to local fire/EMT departments and police departments.

We recently had to move our aging parents once again from what we thought would be their long-term home, after a little over two years, from Forest Hills. The new owners (CommuniCare) had decided many months ago to close the assisted living wing where they lived and had begun to cut back on the quality of service. They had told no one of this upcoming change, making our parents live more miserably by unappetizing food, lack of quality activity, and lack of encouraging new residents down there leaving them almost friendless! We had tried numerous times to communicate concerns and only got renewed promises, designed most likely, to keep them paying as long as possible. We heard through the grapevine this was happening, and were upset that now we would have only weeks to find another place and make them uproot again! The administrators never came to explain this or acknowledge it, never told us earlier so they could receive better care somewhere else sooner, and never even came to wish them well as they moved! We learned that the residents are only assets to be managed, not PEOPLE to be cared for. If not for the wonderful aides they had, I would give 1 star! Some of them are now quitting. I get the business aspect of things, but go somewhere else where the dignity and care of people who have given so much of their lives can be honored more compassionately. It made me roll my eyes to read the "ComminiCare Cares" blurb on their website!

All I can really say is what A Completely outstanding job from the employees and staffing at Forest hills today !. I called in just to get a few pieces of information and was blown away with the conversation I had with this lovely lady named Jesie ! She was super helpful and gave me additional help when questions arose, a long side was Kelly who offered me clarity and a great conversation to start of my morning ! Way to go forest hills , keep up the good work !!

Wonderful place to work, I have been working at forest hills on and off since 2013! Management is very caring, and accommodating to patients, families, & employees. Nurses & STNA's are very experienced and work together as a team to provide the best care to the residents in our care. I 10/10 recommend Forest Hills whether it's for employment or you're needing 24 hr care for your loved one.

Forest Hills was such a pleasant home-away-from-home as my Mother recovered from her various illnesses. At the time, the outcome for my Mother was not positive, but the Staff have provided her with the utmost of care and love that she is now walking and dressing herself after almost 3 months in the Hospital. We had a wonderful advocate, Kelly Ransome, that always was communicating to us on her care to the insurance to the financial burden. She always took my phone calls even when she was on her own time with her Family. Her timely responses enabled our Family to have a piece of mind as the time went on at Forest Hills. I highly recommend this facility for your love ones as they heal.

This is a great place to send your loved ones for care. The staff really cares about their patients and go above and beyond to do the best they can to make the residents feel at home. They've made a lot of changes recently that will improve the care the residents get. The food is great, very clean facility and the nurses and aides are great! I recommend you check this place out for your loved ones care. The best in the area by far!

Super nice facility. Super nice workers. Everybody tries hard and works together even in a sometimes stressful environment. My grandpa has been living here as a long term resident for the last few months and really likes it.

The staff at FHCC goes above and beyond to help residents and their families! My 94 year old grandmother moved in to FHCC July 2022 and is thriving. She loves the daily activities and social events! The residents are friendly and welcoming, she has made so many new friends.

My mom a has been in the assisted living wing of Forest Hills Care Center for over a year now. She has really grown to love her caregivers and feels they love her too! The apartments are spacious and the facility is very clean. Through mom's various health issues, the staff and administration has been very supportive. Brittany has been a great resource and advocate for mom. The residents feel like family and we are so happy that we found such a caring place for mom to live. I highly recommend the assisted living wing at Forest Hills Care Center!

I started working here in September of 2021 and it's been a great experience! I have never seen a group of people come together and care so much about the residents! I'd definitely would take my family member here if needed because I know the care they would get is second to none! Not only is the care incredible the building has to be the cleanest I've ever seen in the medical field. I am getting some rehab. My other needs are pressing, though. I have bipolar 1, Was told the pharmacy could not get meds for days. When they did,I was short dosed. I take 2 times daily. Also I need my Synthroid desperately, have been off since I came here. For a place with all the pretty outer appearances,they need to put the money into the patients. Please consider if you have a short, stay, without a lot of medical issues.

I was there to visit a dear friend of mine who is there for rehab. This is ONLY a review for an STNA named Lauren. She went above and beyond. She came in very cheerful, did what she needed to do with a smile, asked if there was anything else she needed before she left. The other people in this place could take a lesson or two from this girl on how to treat a patient. KUDOS girl!

I cannot express my gratitude for this wonderful facility and every single member of the staff they employ. They have been a true blessing in our life to provide the care, therapy, assistance in getting my mother well enough and strong enough to come home. There are so many staff members to thank I cannot list them all. This facility goes above and beyond to care and provide for the patients. All facilities should use this one as a model. If I could rate them a 10 I would. They welcome family members and made us feel so comfortable the entire time we stayed by my mothers side. Thank you, bless you and let me say every nurse was awesome. Here is just a few of you I hope get to see this and spread this review. Therapy, Kala, Sarah, Doug, Erick, Zach, Lakasha, Stacy, Nurses, Lynette, Tonya, Pam, Marrissa, Josh, Jessica, and each and every one of you I haven't mentioned, Aides, Jody, Kim,Debra, Daniel, Terry, Michelle, Gloria, Shanon,and every aide I haven't mentioned, house keeping, kitchen cooks and servers, front desk, Sandy and the evening girls, Social services Kala, every one in the front offices are more than great and helpful, there are so many I can't recall all their names. Carrie who handles activities and her side kick who taught me to make fudge. I cannot rave enough about these people or facility and will be visiting every center in Houston when I return to try to turn facilities there into ones like this so there can be better facilities everywhere for our precious elderly loved ones. I absolutely love and appreciate all everyone here did for us and hope all have the best of holidays. The owner deserves more then 5 stars and should be proud of what they have accomplished. If anyone reading this is looking for the best place for a family member take my word this is where you would want them to be. God love them all they are truly the best of the best. My husband and I have been in several Cincinnai area care centers. Forest Hills is by far the best. The care is excellent. No long waits for nursing or aide attention. It is clean. The food is good. The accommodations are very pleasant, and best of all my adult children enjoyed visiting and bringing their children..
