Top notch care from all the staff..... the nurses and cnas are friendly and kind and care about providing excellent care to all the residents. Everyone and I mean everyone who works there is there for the residents and truly care about them! This place is absolutely amazing!

I am a Cna/Crma at Mt Joseph and I have to say I have never been to an orientation that is so thorough!! I left there feeling very prepared to do my job the best way possible. And the staff is AMAZING!! Everyone has been so friendly and helpful!! Residents look extremely happy and cared for! I am extremely thrilled to be working here! It's a big family!!! Thank you to Crystal and Jazmine!!!! You guys are awesome!!!

Up until two months ago I worked on the floor as a CNA for three years, so I was able to not only see but personally experience some of the hardship Mount Joseph went through during the pandemic. Yes, we were on the verge of being shut down completely because we couldn't maintain all state regulations at the time, but today I can tell you with great confidence that I am proud to be an employee at a facility who never gave up, who, despite the hardships pulled together and made it work, and now it not only works, but we have the best team going. We're not just employees at Mount Joseph we're family! But don't take my word for it. Stop in, request a tour, or give us a call we would love to hear from you.

Staff is short handed. Food is served cold. Family is not updated on the care of the patient. Appointments for patient are missed due to lack of transportation. I do not recommend placing your loved one here.

My mother Esta Knapik has been here twice once from a broken ankle and again for a hip replacement. The staff here is amazing. They have been awesome. Everyone from the chefs to the nurses and even the women that work the desk have been so nice. I have seen these people go above and beyond for the guests here. They really seem to care like they are their own family. I love y'all thank you for treating my mom like family

Very hard working staff that care about their residents, although understaffed. This facility is constantly providing more training to it's employees and recruiting in an effort to improve and be a place families can trust to bring their loved ones. I know I care a lot about my residents and that will never change.

Loving, caring providers in an understaffed, challenging environment in Maine, where there are too few long-term care beds and not enough staff, do their very best in often thankless professions. Making personal connections and treating those who cared for my father with respect, gratitude, and love created a team effort to ensure my father's passing was with dignity and in comfort. Mount St. Joseph and the staff on the second floor will forever have a place in my heart as they are, simply, angels of mercy.
