Reviews Preferred Care at Home – Montclair, NJ
July 2018
My husband and I could not be happier with the care and oversight our loved one receives from Preferred Care at Home and Mario Parker. Mario took the time to visit up front and understand our situation and is always a phone call away. We have had the same aide for several months now, which is so helpful because she has gotten to know my mother-in-law, her schedule, her likes and dislikes, etc. I have spoken to a few aides who have worked for Mario, and they all rave about how well he treats them. Thats important to me because a happy and satisfied aide has the incentive to do a good job and knows their work is appreciated. Im so glad we found Mario and the aide he placed with us, and we have already recommended him to extended family members.
February 2017
Preferred Care at Home had been recommended to us by the United Way and we are very grateful to them. This is a professional, caring agency which is responsive and very careful in selecting caregivers. Anne, my husbands last caregiver, could not have been kinder or more dedicated.
December 2015
My first phone conversation with Mario Parker instantly became an intelligent and compassionate dialogue about the complex and heartbreaking problems we were facing with our parents.Where and who to turn in such a perplexing and difficult time? From the level of engagement and clear communication to finding the best solutions in providing the loving care my parents are receiving, I speak for my family in highly recommending Preferred Care at Home.

I am happy to write a review for Preferred Care at Home. My brother and I have gotten our lives back and our mother has someone who spends time every day with her, cooks healthy meals, makes sure she takes her medications and keeps the house clean. They also helped us find a doctor (Geriatrician) who makes house calls and takes Medicare. My mother is much happier and I can now have a conversation with her without wondering about her care and feeling like I am being pulled in ten different directions.
