You cannot get a better rehab ctr than this. Nurse care was professional and top notch. Rehab was excellent. Cog therapist is the best. She want out of her way to show me around, got me some good glasses, and she cared as well as her boss. Im telling you they are excellent. But, they need a "care dog" A lot of disabled and lonely people. Dog would make a big difference. Anyway, I was very satisfied and would like to get to know the cog therapist. LOL. You guys are the best. Michael.

This was my first time being in a facility like this. I was nervous, but the entire staff made me feel so at ease. I had right knee replacement and needed some PT before going home. Spent a week there and I'm very satisfied. I will be coming back in December when I get my left knee done. I highly recommend this facility to anyone needing a temporary second home.

So thankful for this facility and their staff. Amanda Price helped me get my mother from Washington to Oregon in less than 24hr. I have been trying for the last 5 years with no luck. She was so friendly and efficient, I didn't have to worry about a thing. All the CNA are so quick, they greet you when you enter the building, my mom has been at Chehalem for less then a month and all the CNA know who I am and who I am coming to visit. It's such a blessing! I couldn't have picked a better building. They definitely got a great team going!! Highly recommend!!

My elderly sister is in this care home. My first impression is of an older facility with a motivated staff. When I called to coordinate sending a box of candy, the phone was answered promptly, and pleasantly, and helpfully. Marvin McConoughey

I'm writing this review because I'm a resident here and I have been for 8 months now and I can say some good things and I can say bad, I have Lots of experience with these places and my gf used to be a CNA and this place cannot keep staff whatsoever so the patients suffer because of it, and I have NEVER had so much of my belongings stolen before and they can't seem to catch whoever is stealing,yes they replace the items but it's nerve wracking and frustrating not to mention it's foul!! I love some of the staff but theres some that are rude,they lie on residents and get them into trouble,some of the ones that work here have zero experience and zero empathy for anyone I could go on but I do love some of the people that care for the residents but this place needs work and the food SUCKS,chicken ALL The time and so dry you can't eat it,so how can a 80 year old eat it?? I rate this a 2

This is not a luxurious place, it is definitely bare bones, but the staff is friendly, respectful and attentive. My friend cannot take care of himself, but he is always clean, shaved, nicely dressed and smells good. I have been in facilities that looked more upscale but smelled bad. That is not the case here. My friend is comfortable and safe. I can easily visit. The new check-in/check-out system is efficient and simple. Still there is always someone nearby to help if I need assistance.

I can't say enough about the excellent care my family member is getting at Chehalem Health and Rehab Center. For example, every time I call to see how my family member is doing, the staff from nursing, to social worker, to the whomever answers the phone, each has been extremely helpful in addressing my questions and needs. And, they are going above and beyond general care by helping my family members to connect through Face Time and Zoom to help overcome the barriers Covid has caused. Historically I have had less than positive experiences with nursing facilities. Chehalem Health and Rehab Center is nothing like those experiences. My family member is blessed to be in their care.

Chronically short staffed. Competing for staff in an area brimming over with ads for healthcare workers. Too many high acuity patients without high acuity staffing. (Medicare?) If you know any health care workers, send them to this facility. They have to catch up before they can keep up. Good employees, good management. Just not enough employees. And not enough parking. Please add some parking.
