My father was there for 2 1/2 years. All seemed fine at first, but dad started having problems and I think some saw him as an aggravation. He was a cash customer and I had concerns he needed to move on but no one agreed. When I would go his kitchen area was never clean, even after housekeeping. He eventually fell and hit his head leaving a big blood stain. He was hospitalized. He to.d me he tried to clean the mess up and when I went to get him some clothes I found his bloodied shirt thrown in the shower, dried and crumbly and was told they couldn't really clean the carpet. I guess he was going to have to live with a blood stain if he returned, which he did not. It's been almost 5 years since this happened and I am still receiving notices about his cable account. I even get texted to let me know when repairs are to be made for that apartment. After repeated calls with Spectrum and a few to Cambridge, no one seems to get his or my name off that room. It is a lovely facility with so,e nice workers, but I did I not feel there was concern for a resident that needed help or needed to be to.d he was past the purpose of that place.

My mother lived at Cambridge House. She felt the facility was clean and she was pleased with her living space. The staff was courteous and promptly responded when issues came up. She was happy with the laundry facilities. Based on her experience, I would recommend Cambridge House.

My husband and I recently moved into Cambridge House of Swansea. The staff has been amazing. The administrator went out of her way to help us organize our apartment so that everything fit is organized. The servers are nice. If we are not sure what we want they will give us recommendations. The activity director keeps us busy and takes us out to town a few times a week. Maintenance makes sure the apartment is clean and has taken the time to hang pictures and curtains for us. We love it here!

My grams and her husband lived here and it was a excellent experience. The apartments were spacious and equipped with everything. Staff was excellent. They still had their independence, but had staff for assistance. Great activities/ recreational program's, salon, and outings. Highly recommend for your lived one who is still independent, but needs a little extra support.

My sister moved into Cambridge House in Swansea, Illinois in January of 2023. She loves it there. All of the staff members have made her feel very welcome and are very helpful. Thanks so much for all you do!!!!!

My grandma loved this place and I am so glad we were able to find it. It let her have time with others, she loved the on-site hair dresser, and it gave her a safe place to continue to be independent. I am so glad she got time to spend here.

I cannot say enough great things about this facility and the staff! Upon having issues with the hospital my mother was in, Lori went to infinity and beyond to help me get her released and admitted to Cambridge, once there the entire staff from CNA's to Lee, the Administrator, were nothing but accommodating and personable. I felt they were exceptionally professional and my brother-in-law who helped move my mother's possessions told me several times how nice the facility is, stating "it is nicer than a lot of hotels". Again, the staff is EXCELLENT and the facility is very nice and well maintained - even the custodial employees are personable and accommodating!

I love working here as the RN of the facility. I feel Cambridge House Of Swansea offers care and compassion to ALL of it's residents from it's nursing staff, the business director, maintenance, marketing, activities, dietary, and the administrator. I would move my grandma here in a second..in fact I've been trying to convince her to come here. We work as an amazing team and I couldn't be more proud of our facility.

I am very proud to say that I have been with the company since it opened 10 years ago. The atmosphere is welcoming and staff are helpful and friendly. My own grandparents lived here and loved their time with us. Cambridge House provides a great service for seniors who need assistance.

My Mom has been there for 6+ years now and has a great environment with weekly checks, room cleaning, laundry services, and orders from a menu like at a restaurant each meal. Seems to have a good number of activities and excursions around town to keep her attention too.
