Id grade less if I could, my mother was here for 2.5 months and wanted to go home. her son wanted her in this place. she was bed bound. You need a pin to enter and mine was revoked. The residents dont get talked to by anyone, the caregivers especially [name removed] sit in the office on the cell phone, eating or flat out RUDE! The police and ambulance is there. The Bathroom shower full of hair and soap scum, the toothbrush, filthy, no paper towels in the bathroom, my mom was not taken outside for fresh air, and I had to go seek someone to change her. One of the caregivers stated that they were under staffed. DO NOT PUT YOUR LOVED ONE HERE!!!!! MY MOM lost soooooo much weight it was ridiculous!!!!!!! The other person here was [name removed], complete ignorant. They dont do anything to care about they residence......save your money and go elsewhere

My mom lived here for almost 2 yrs before passing. Caring staff, interactive activities, good food, clean facility, and great attention to their residents. Residents are very happy and well cared for every day!

I'm a musician who has played 30+ retirement homes in Albuquerque. I began playing at Brio in 2017. I can tell that the residents and staff enjoy being @ Brio. Retirement home advertising espouses community and the "home-away-from-home" aspects of living at a facility. At Brio, there really is a community/home feel. There are nice extras at Brio that I don't see at other retirement homes (decorating for holidays, family events, and theme parties). Staff retention is a great indicator of the culture at retirement homes. Brio has had the same management since 2017. I see the same employees month-to-month, and year-to-year. Other retirement homes have high turnover of employees.

Brio has proven to be above and beyond with regards to my parents' care. The local ownership is always present, accessible, engaged and responsive to whatever needs and concerns we have had over the past year and a half. The staff has always done the same. The facillity is fresh, always clean, has excellent food and is pro active, growing new and stimulating interactions for the residents . There has been an unexpected measure of compassion and companionship for my family, on going, between both the ownership and the staff, especially since my father's passing after the first year of residence. I would highly recomend The Brio as a truly unique, unparalled opportunity in Albuquerque, for any family searching for the "Right Place" to land for loved ones and thier families facing the new challenges of a move. Thank you Brio for bringing possitive change to our lives!
