I was a resident here at this facility for a month i was sent here from another facility because i was causing problems so they sent me here b because i am not rice like Mr. Trump i could not afford a private or semi private room so i was placed in a 3 person room where there is nospace in between the beds and i had to get rid of my stuffed lion that i had as a companion and belongings that i tried to work for becasue there was no space i have problems making it to the bathroom so i asked for a bedside toilet that is was going to pay for the office would not let me get it then when the office found out that I called the state about this they gave me a 30 day notice to get out of here i did find another personal care home that will fit my needs the caregivers where real good for me they did keep me from having a MELT DOWN and ending up in the hospital. this home cost a lot to live in If you can not afford a semi private or a private room do not send your loved ones here they will not be happy think you

The owner seems to know everyone of their residents, I thought treatment like that was a thing of the past. They do treat everyone like family

My family was here before the new owners took over and I can tell you that they have turned this place around! They cleaned house literally and figuratively! Now the staff is always all manner, the facility is clean they have these housekeeper there that are always on the go! Amanda goes out of her way to make my sister feel special. Staff are great, the activity department goes above and beyond for my brother. It needs a little work on cleanliness but other wise they are good. The lady and man who do the activities are so lively and fun! New owners really took this place from dumps back up to the top.

A resident for almost two years. The new owners have made so many changes, we have activities, great food, and I can’t say enough how much I like Mr. Ned. He makes it a point to visit me when he is here.

My aunt moved to pleasant ridge in 2023, we try to visit her every few months. Today we made the drive to see the resident making apple butter activities and the downstairs was decorated beautifully. This place has truly done a 180 since the new owners took over. Driving to the property the new roof really pops, there are housekeepers all over the place, and the entire feeling of the property has changed. We no longer worry about our aunt and feel she is safe at pleasant ridge. If you are on the fence about this place go take a tour, you won’t regret it.

The monthly rates are pretty reasonable, and the activities team keeps things fun and fresh. There are things like casino nights and even mini therapy horses! There’s also live music, paint and sips, apple butter making, Name That Tune,’ a magician, and there’s a book club too. They really do a great job keeping everyone’s mood up. You can tell things have improved a lot since the new owners took over.

What an incredible facility. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this place, they make sure to take care of their residents by going out of their way to make their life feels not so mundane, but maybe even magical! With horses that visit, and flower workshops, you’ll feel more at camp than an assisted living facility! They’ve taken extra special care to ensure the financials of their clients are all taken care of and are doing everything they can to provide professional service at a very high standard. this to me was a top priority in finding a place for my loved one

The new owners are cleaning the place up!! They are making repairs and renovations. Holding staff accountable and hiring new staff. Their activities department has improved. The owners make themselves available to listen to and correct any concerns. They have great plans to continue the improvement.

Wish I had enough words to express the kindness, mercy, and care my mother-in-law received while a resident here. She was treated with respect and dignity all the time shown loving care. Meals served hot and seemed nutritious. Mom was given care as if she was a queen on a throne. If there where medical these merited a call to us and the doctor/hospice. I highly recommend this establishment.
