My Dad and I would like to thank David Apodaca and his staff at Buena Vista Senior Care for the wonderful care my mother, Joan Dillow, received while at BVSC for over two years. My mother has advanced dementia, and has been a resident at Buena Vista for over two years. Since leaving her previous facility, she has become far more interactive, and happy. Having experienced the previous facility, I can see a clear difference in the quality of care, and safety the facility provides. David and his staff clearly care for the residents, and always go the extra mile for their well being, comfort, and happiness. I sleep well at night having my mother in their care. Without reservation, I recommend this facility to anyone needing this type of care.

This place provides excellent care by a caring staff in a home like (non-institutional) environment. The small number of patients affords each a high level of individual attention. There is a skilled doctor and a nurse who make routine visits and physical therapy sessions can be scheduled. This total package provides both the patient and their family continuing comfort in their decision to select Buena Vista. I am extremely gratified that my wife is receiving comfort and care here.

Our family is so fortunate to have found a home of this quality for our relation. Its a beautiful home with fresh flowers and artwork. We love to visit on the lovely patio. The house is spacious and comfortable, and immaculately kept. The meals are made in the home and served family-style to encourage social interaction among residents. According to our relation they are healthy and delicious. Rooms are kept neat and privacy respected, but help is a button-push away. The house manager and staff are responsive and caring.My relation receives her medications on schedule and is aided with her hygiene. She is always clean and neat. She is able to choose what interests her to do. She has a private room with all her possessions and can enjoy privacy. She has been seen by the nurse who is on callI have been confident that our relation is receiving quality care while at Buena Vista.

Buena Vista Senior Care is a wonderful place! The care is excellent, the environment is comfortable, peaceful, and always immaculate. David Apodaca is a caring man and continuously improving the facility. My mother was given excellent care. Many of the caregivers have been there a long time, and they are dedicated to the residents. My sister and I were very particular and hands-on about my mothers care. My mother was in another assisted living facility, but the quality of care was diminishing, and our mothers needs were not being met in an acceptable manner. You will not find a better place for your loved one than Buena Vista!

My Mother was a resident at Buena Vista Senior Care for about 2 years before she passed away. She received excellent care. Buena Vista has the cleanest environment my mother lived in while needing a nursing home care. It always smelled clean and her bedding was changed every day. The caregivers were wonderful and my mother received a lot of attention.David ran a very organized home and kept the landscaping in top notch shape. He was always responsive to any requests and kept excellent records. My mothers medications were managed better than anywhere else which greatly improved her well being.There was an excellent doctor who made weekly visits and would come anytime I called for her. There was also a nurse who visited each week and came by whenever needed.I would definitely recommend Buena Vista Senior Care to anyone who has a parent in need!!

In March 2017 we had to move mom from her assisted living home to a facility more suited to her needs. What a wonderful blessing it was to have Buena Vista Senior Care introduced to us. This well designed private home only takes up to 8 residents and we were so happy to find that there was a room available. Buena Vista offers a full line of services which can be tailor made to the residents specific needs. With family style dinning, fun activities and beautiful gardens the staff make each resident feel comfortable and special. Speaking of the staff, David pays extra attention to make sure the folks he hires to care for our loved ones have what it takes to give the very best and concerning care of their residents. It was a tremendous relief to moms family knowing she was in loving arms. Even in moms final days, they never wavered in making mom comfortable. Thanks to Buena Vista Senior Care, Mom spent her final two years surrounded by a happy staff in a beautiful home. My only hope is that when it is time for me to find a place that will take extra special care for me, they will have a room available.

In 2014 my father was moved from a corporate assisted living facility to Buena Vista Senior Care. He lived there until January of 2018, and if he had needed a safe place to receive the best of care, he could not have ended up in a better spot than BVSC. However it IS a home, not just a place, where the staff and caretakers are wonderful and attentive and professional and loving.With the roomy dining table, its sweet to see the residents enjoying not just a delicious and healthy home-cooked meal, but enjoying each others company as well. From the comfortable living room for watching TV or catching up with loved ones, to the back patio with the small pond and bird-feeders where folks can visit and get some fresh air, to the private rooms of each resident where their families can fill the walls and shelves with memories – all of this makes for a wonderful home away from home. wish anyone who has the need to place a loved one is someone elses care had a place like Buena Vista Senior Care. have eternal gratitude to David and to Michelle and to so many others who are (or were) a part of this.

This facility provided wonderful care to my Poppa during his 5 month stay there. Our family was extremely apprehensive going in because his previous facility was a difficult situation. The ratio of 8 residents to 2 nursing aides put us at great ease and his care was nothing less than exceptional. He was more of a total care patient, not assisted, but they worked with him with compassion and encouragement. They took care of him whole-heartedly and one particular nurses aide, Michelle, paid extra attention to him. I am forever grateful for the team and the owner., David, has a true love and takes pride in his work.
